Ryu's movements were unhurried as though he wasn't moving through enemy territory. There was a confident air about him that was intractable in the face of danger. If anything… he was quite looking forward to it.
As he moved, he was also gazing at the world with his eyes, seeing through its mysteries and taking everything in.
Cultivation wasn't just about holing yourself up in a room and pressing forward, hoping to see the best. It was also about experiencing life.
Part of the reason Ryu was so at ease without having ever entered such a long-term closed door seclusion before was precisely because his eyes gave him a huge advantage in this aspect compared to other people.
He tended to improve by leaps and bounds because much like the moniker of his eyes made clear… he could see through the Mysteries of Heaven and Earth.
