Harvard family

I'm thinking for a moment while looking at the village situation. The village looks peaceful and calm, no sign of alertness and cautions since no guards were placed in village's gate.

"Alright miss, please show me the way", I finally decide to accept the girl's offer to stay in the village. Beside sleep under roof still better than sleep in open space, even if that only a barn.

When we reach the village's gate, a figure suddenly comes up from behind the fences.

"Silvie! You're bleeding! What happen? Are you alright? Who is this young man behind you?"

A serial of question come from the figure, a man in his forties, with burly posture and hold a short sword in his hand.

"Father! I was attacked by a wolf when checking on the sacred forest. Fortunately, this young lord helps me out there" said the girl which I think the name was Silvie.

The man that seems to be Silvie's father sheathed back his sword, and bow toward me

"Young lord, my apology for my rude welcoming, and great thanks for saving my daughter, Sylvie"

"Please raise, uncle. I'm not a lord or something like that. I'm just a person who lost in the forest"

"If young master doesn't mind, please visit my humble adobe in the village. We will try our best to entertain young master"

I just nodded and following Silvie's father walk into the village. They go the biggest house in the village, and after we arrived there, a woman that seems to be Silvie's mother greeted us.

"Silvie! What happens to you dear, come in quickly and clean your wound before it going to infected", she looks panic when she sees Silvie's condition, and without waiting for any words from us, she already drags Silvie and entering the house.

Silvie's father only can smile wryly looking at his wife action, with apologetic looks on his face he said to me,

"Please forgive my wife rudeness, young master, I know she will not act like that if know who you are"

"No, No, your wife was right. Your daughter needs medical treatment before her wounds become worse. I'm not offended by that"

"Thank you for young master generosity, please come to my humble house"

I still don't know why he always keeps calling me young master, is it because of my dress which different from him? Or maybe, I look different from them? But I'll get the answer if I can ask him the question, and talk in front of the house seem impolite and I have to accept his offer to come into his house.

After we enter the house, my eyes immediately looking at the house interior. It's a common wooden house with most its furniture also made from wood. Since it's almost dark, some candles already lit up to illuminate the house. There's no carpet or whatsoever to cover the floor, so I just sit on a chair in that house. Silvie's father also takes a seat in a chair near me, and start a conversation,

"Young master, May I know your honorable name and what brings you to our humble village?"

"My name Isaku Ikki, as I said before, I was lost in the forest near here and when I looking for a place to stay at night I saw your daughter attacked by a wolf" then I start to tell him from when I start to help Silvie and her invitation to visit her village until we met in the village's gate.

Silvie's father nodded after hearing my story.

"I see, so that's why my daughter returns in such condition. I'm really grateful for master Ikki help to my daughter. I, John Harvard, with my utmost sincerity, will fulfill any master Ikki's request. Even if master Ikki desire for my daughter, I will give her right away"

Hey hey, why it suddenly become like this? I help her because that what a man supposed to do, you know. Moreover, you barely know me, don't you have any suspicious if I'm a bad guy or something like that? In this awkward situation, Silvie come out and protesting his father's words

"Father! What are you saying?' her face reddish from embarrassment. She already changing her dress and her wounds already bandaged. She's carrying some drinks in the wooden goblet.

"Right, Mr. Harvard, rather than your daughter, I have more desire to know what place is this. I'm lost in that forest and have no idea how I can return to my home".

After takes a deep breath, John Harvard speaking

"Ah right, master Ikki said you're lost in the forest, but may I know where you came from?"

"My home is at Hidan village, uncle Harvard"

John Harvard and Silvie look at each other, they seem didn't know or never heard about my village.

"Excuse me, but where the country is Hidan village belong to?"

"Oh, my country is Japan"

They look at each other again. The words 'Japan country' seems never heard by them. That makes me more curious about this place, so I take my turn to ask them.

"Before you ask me more, can you tell me where this is?"

John Harvard takes a deep breath several times, he looks like thinking something heavy before finally utter the words.
