The winner of the duel was Edward, as Renly could not continue the duel because he was both disarmed and his hand was cut off.

After winning the Duel, Edward was declared Lord Paramount of Stormlands by his father himself.

After what happened, Edward remembered the conversation he had with his grandfather.

"Do you want to be lord of the Stormlands instead of the Westerlands?" my grandfather asked.
