Chapter 5

•●Aria Williams' POV●•

Reading while sipping tea is one of my habits. While i was reading i suddenly remembered that i have something to ask Hayden, my childhood friend and currently my personal butler.

Hayden is a quiet and cold looking person but she is kind. We used to play a lot before together with Prince Lucas (The second prince), Princess Laurey (Third Princess), Emily and my younger sister Anya who is two years younger than us.

I still remember the time when we tried to make her laugh or smile but she remained expressionless and her response is always short but nonetheless she is a fun person to be with.

"Emily" i called Emily who's waiting at my side waiting for my orders "yes miss?". I placed the book that i was reading on the table "Can you go look for Hayden? She's usually never late and always here early, i have something to ask her". Emily nodded "Okay miss"

Emily bowed before leaving the room. I sighed and looked up at the sky, outside the window.

I missed the days when all of us are still kids and carefree. We used to play house before and when taking roles i'm always the mother, Lucas is the father, Emily is the oldest daughter, my youngest sister Anya is the youngest daughter, and Laury wants to be the wife of Hayden even though Hayden is also a girl, though she looks like a boy but Hayden also kept on refusing for the reason that she wanted to be just a tree, i chuckled while remembering those old fun times.

Three hours have passed since i ordered Emily to look for Ren. I started to get bored so i sit on my bed and looked outside the window.

While staring outside i didn't notice that the door opened "Miss, Hayden is already here" i stand up and turned around to look at them.

I saw Ren who still have cold and expressionless eyes as usual "Oh" i blinked while looking at them. I'm a bit angry and at the same time bit worried at Hayden for the reason that it took a long time for Emily and her to come.

"Hayden where have you been? i've been looking for you since morning" i slightly frowned but she didn't respond. It's weird cause she's just looking at me coldly and expressionlessly without saying anything.

"Hayden?..." Why aren't you responding?

Emily suddenly bowed "Miss, I saw Hayden earlier lying under the tree and unconscious when she woke up she forgot about me. We went to Mister Oliver to check her up but Mister Oliver said that it looks like she's having an amnesia".

I was shocked hearing it so i immediately walked towards Hayden and hold both of her shoulder. Hayden is tall so i was looking up to her "Hey Hayden are you hurt anywhere? Do you still need rest?"

"Mm..." Hayden just nodded and i'm still shocked about what i heard.

"Worry not miss i am okay..." Hayden's cold and expressionless eyes looked away. I think she's a bit uncomfortable and it's new to me to hear Hayden calling me Miss cause she's usually calling me Williams-sama

I was relieved as i sighed and i let go of her shoulder then i smiled "That's a relief"

Hayden's eyes looked away as she nod "Mm..." i noticed that her ears are slightly red, i guess she's embarrassed but it's my first time seeing her like this.

I thought it was funny and cute so giggled "it looks like even though you've got an amnesia the way you respond haven't change a bit, i am glad".

It's been a month since Hayden got amnesia. I heard that she started training every morning once again. Hayden doesn't have magic but she's incredibly strong and is really good in swordsmanship.

One morning i decided to sneak out of the mansion to buy the new volume of my favorite book. I wanted to sneak out because father will surely tell me that i should just order one of our servants to buy it but i want to buy it myself this time because i heard that the author himself will come and sign the book to those who will buy his book today!

So i was wearing a simple but beautiful dress then i also wore a cape with hood.

I went to the bookstore and waited in a long line, luckily i came early so i didn't wait too long and i also got a signiture from the author himself hehe!

I was happily walking on my way home, it's still early so there's not much people around.

While walking there's suddenly three big men who block my path, i tried to turn around but there's another big man blocking it.

One of the men laughed "Miss it's so early in the morning yet yer alone er?" I can see that all of them are holding a knife.

"Give us your money so you won't get hurt" the other man said then the other guy that's blocking me from the back. "Hey hey don't scare the young lady so much~" he licked his lips and said "Say miss you're so beautiful what about playing with me for a bit hm?~"

"WAHAHAHA" the four of them laughed. I'm really scared, i can use a little bit of magic but i still don't know any attack spells and it's too hard to fight four big men.

I hope i didn't sneak out today, please somebody save me!!
