It was a familiar white space that Avina was used to. Just this time, two colored blobs were waiting for her. One of them, she missed dearly. The other one, she wished she could toss them into an incinerator.

"Host!" a familiar voice called out to her. It leaped into her arms and dove deep into her embrace, trapping her in love. "I missed you so much!"

"5025!" Avina squeezed it tightly. She sighed in relief at the familiar blue blob. Oh how much she missed it; its little cute remarks and habitual ignorance.

"How was the seminar?" Avina asked. She smiled and patted the blob. It had left her alone for months with Ming for a seminar. She hoped it got something useful out of it.

At the mention of the seminar, it froze in place. A sheepish chuckle echoed in the space, and Avina gave it a look. "What's wrong?"
