He looks for every opportunity to make use of me because of the deal I have with him. (Anyway... What was your answer to your mother? What did you say?) "Oh yeah. Of course, My answer was... 'I just want to be a reader who can watch the hero from afar. I don't want to be a hero OR a villain, because no matter which path you choose you always end up losing something important to you...." { CHAPTER - 5 } THE FINAL RESULTS

"AAAAAAA!!!!!"

He shouted and leaped out of the bed, causing the entire bed to tremble.

He questioned himself and stroked his face. "I'm alive, right?"

He asked himself that in surprise since he had just been certain that he had passed away, but now he was sitting on his bed, drenched in sweat.

!Knock!! Knock!

"Karma, are you all right? Answer me"

When he heard a voice from outside after hearing a knock on his door, he panicked and hesitated to act out of fear.

He heard his mother's comforting voice during that panicky moment, and when he opened the door to see them, he felt as though a heavy burden had been lifted from his chest.

"Hey mom, what are you doing this late at night?"

"What exactly do you mean?" "Hey, are you okay? We heard a scream from your room, "your mom panicked."

"Yes, I'm fine; I just had a nightmare that gave me a jump scare." "I'm sorry about that," Karma said, dismissing his mother's concern.

Both of them exchanged glances before turning to face Karma, and Mom sighed.

"Tell us if anything happens," mom reassured.

"OK, mom, if anything happens, I'll let you know first"

They both went to their rooms, and he closed the door to his as well. As they walked away, he sat down near the door, relieved, and let out a long sigh.

"!Sigh, what the fuck is wrong with me? Was that a dream? No, that was not a dream. I was definitely in hell right now."

He refused any notion of it being a dream or an illusion, knowing that everything that occurred was reality and a distinct fact.

Karma considered telling his parents that it could be the best option, but then he questioned himself.

"Will they ever believe me? Who would believe me? People will probably think I'm insane. People, after all, do not believe what they do not see. But maybe I can-"

He did believe that maybe, just maybe, talking to his parents might help. At one point, he considered informing them himself, but that was before the vision of their heads being severed from before came into his mind.

He was now so terrified that he dared not even tell anyone.

"I should not tell my parents about this, at least not yet; instead, I should find a more plausible opportunity. Furthermore, Dad appears to be busy with the work he received previously"

These were his thoughts, and he decided to put the plan on hold for a while.

He stood up, looked at the clock, and thought to himself, "What should I do now that I don't feel like sleeping? Right, I guess I'll watch some anime now that it's 3:00 a.m. It'll be morning soon, and we'll get our results today as well"

As he said, he began watching some anime to pass the time until morning.

As the family ate breakfast and discussed the boy's test results at 7:00 a.m., his parents were more thrilled than he was.

"I can't wait to see the results and tell my other friends," "Oo.. ohoho," His mother was the most existing person there for some reason.

Mom, please don't. Looking into the eyes of your friend's children may be entertaining for you, but it makes me uncomfortable. I'm already their natural enemy in their eyes." All of this might have seemed a little over the top, but it was all true.

"You may not be aware of it, but you are a star in our group, and everyone in the neighborhood encourages their children to be more like you."

"And that's precisely the reason," he murmured to himself.

Over time, his mom continued to smile, and Karma, who had lost all hope, turned to look at his father.

He sought his father for assistance in the hopes of getting a backup, but it was the very moment he lost trust in him.

Even though he wasn't even upset, all he wanted to do was tell his father this one thing. 'Someone tell this man that he's been staring at the same page for 20 minutes,'

He had no option but to make a last-ditch effort now that he had lost all faith in his father.

He appeared to be giving his father one more chance to redeem himself as he gazed at him with eyes that had lost hope in him.

"Oh, I should have said that I had to travel to "Mumbai" tomorrow."

His dad broke the ice and emerged as a hero to him, so it appears that the message was received. But this put "him" in a difficult situation.

"What do you mean, you never mentioned anything to us?"

Naturally, this made my dear mother angry, and at this point, all Karma could do was pray for the man. Oh God, have mercy on this man for he is about to receive his fair share of "karma."

"So you now enjoy surprising people? That's it, huh?" asked my mother angrily.

Dad explained himself with an awkward laugh, "No, it's not like that dear, it's just that I forgot about it. I was going to tell you anyhow, hahaha."

Mom was upset about this, so I had to step in.

In any case, dad, why are you going to "Mumbai"?

Dad took the opportunity to join in as well, looking at me with grateful eyes.

"Okay, nothing much. Some crazy people broke into our nation and attacked the "Indian marine" soldiers."

Mom questioned, "Oh my, why are you going there?"

"Well, our police department has detained one of their members who was ostensibly their tour guide, and I'm heading over to take custody of him," the father said.

A tour guide, a dad traveling to Mumbai, a gang of individuals entering the nation, and the topic that "Ayush" mentioned all appeared strangely tied to Karma.

He heard what his father had said about attacking the "marine," but the incident was probably covered by the government because the news was never shown on television.

Karma believed that his father meant to murder when he stated they were attacking, and he reasoned that this may be why the guy who was speaking on the phone with "Ayuh's dad" indicated there were "monsters" there. These were the conclusions he came to on his own throughout that movement.

"So, dad, if you're leaving tomorrow, when will you be back?"

"Don't worry, because I'll be back in a day this time," he said.

"I hope you do as you say, dear," Mom said irritably.

Karma realized that the only thing that would make her mother happy was the results.

==================

The family was seated on the living room couch a little while later. Karma was researching the webpage on his laptop, which was sitting on his lap.

His father gave him a shoulder pat and said "Hurry, find it quickly,"

Karma ordered them to leave him as he was pulled into the tension and excitement.

Karma inserted his data roll into his laptop and pressed the enter key.

After that, there was a brief pause as they took in what had happened.

His dad stroked him on the head and said as his mother grinned in the background. "Congratulations, you're now a student at college."

"Thanks, dad."

This is the first nice thing to have happened to him since the event last night.

After witnessing the outcome, his mother grinned and stated in a happy tone. "Today I'm going to tell all my friends,"

Karma noticed that her mother was going to gloat to all of her friends, and he was powerless to stop her. because her son won first place in the entire nation.
