Chapter 72

Griphook left the dungeon a little twitchy, especially after his second exorcism.

After all, in the Lestrange safe, Severus found another horcrux in the form of Hufflepuff cup with a few surprises: a multiplication spell and a flaming hand, which Archmage dispelled them without much difficulty, and then, taking that fragment of VoldeMort's soul, Severus created a replica, which he put in place of the original, casting the same spell.

In addition, Snape also placed almost all of his Galleons in safe number 810. The wizard was not very worried about them while the contract was in effect, and what he would soon receive from all those shops in Diagon and Knockturn alley, as well as from shares in companies that were not included in the contract, he was not very will need them.

After Gringotts, Severus did not immediately go home, instead he first visited the Ministry of Magic. And so as not to visit the bank every month, he redirected the incoming Galleons from the potions to his account. And then he visited Shafiki and gave new instructions, so that he also redirected ninety percent of the proceeds to the bank. And an hour later the young man returned to the store, where Nagini was already lying on the table and had lunch.

"You've been gone too long."

"Yes, it took some extra time with the goblins, but I have a good news for you: Now I won't even have to think about the house," he looked at her with a smile, and then, as if wiping the dirt, he erased the sign of the flame on the back of his hand, and then did the same with galleon pattern on the chest.

Such contracts, although they were valid on ordinary wizards, were child's play for Severus, after all he has gone through this in his time in the Magistrate.

In his being an Archmage, he once almost became a slave to one spy, almost signing a slave contract disguised as a non-disclosure agreement "on each other's personalities", taking pity on her, and they were not enemies, so he didn't even think that she would do something like this.

Only thanks to Luck, he noticed that certain words sounded strange in certain contexts. We can say that he was saved by one word - "non-disclosure" with a strange letter "n".

At that moment, a textbook on one ancient language came to his mind, stored in the collection of his teacher, in which some letters were very similar to ordinary ones, but had a completely different meaning.

We can say that she (the spy) was defeated only because the word sounded differently in his teacher's book.

And after a quick selection of letters with the help of the Grimoire, this strange word turned into "submission", and the spy herself instantly turned to ashes.

After this incident, he devoted about two years to the study of contracts, agreements and other paperwork, learning many subtleties, and there was even a person in the Magistrate who dealt with similar matters, from whom he learned a lot, and that very contract was also his work, like the list rules of the Good Grimoire. n

In his almost seven hundred years, that old man wrote a huge number of such things, one slave contract for ten thousand pages was worth something.

Severus, in turn, came up with countermeasures against them, but mostly tied to black flame, if he ever overlooks something like that, because no one is immune from inattention, and even the most powerful wizard can really drink a potion that dulls reason, subordinating his environment or taking a loved one hostage, and forcing him to sign, because in the world of magic everything is possible.

Leaving the cherry pie alone, Nagini gave him a puzzled look.

"I found someone who will be engaged in construction, but I will only control it," he calmly sat down at the table. "Of course, you could leave everything to them. Glad to hear it, and how long will they take?"

"Two weeks, just in time for the end of the holidays, they will finish," Severus stretched out and leaned on his arm, looking at her with a smile.

"I just recently had a rest, and I'm already tired, damn goblins." And at that very moment, Nagini froze in shock.

"Are you sure you don't have a fever?" she asked, putting her tail to the mage's forehead. "Are you the real Severus?"

"Stop being ironic, even I can get tired, and those bastards squeezed all the juice out of me, they fought for every knut, just awful, for an hour we solved only one question: how much can I withdraw from the account per month, and we stopped at the amount of twelve thousand three hundred twenty-five galleons, three shekels and twenty-seven knuts. They were the main boss, but they behaved like ordinary goblins."

"My poor thing, let Aunt Nagini comfort you…"

"I was thinking about a dark green leather purse…"

"I'm joking!" she muttered displeasedly, although through the connection he felt completely different feelings.

"Okay, okay, when you become Lamia, I won't mind if "aunt" Nagaina consoles me at night …"and without any problems dodging a pair of fangs, the young man got up from the table and headed towards the stairs. "If anything, I'll be at my place, my La-mi-a …"

"I'll show you Lamia!" she cheerfully crawled after him, today she was going to avenge all the mockery of herself ...

The very next day, Severus was standing near the Princes' estate, and Nagini peeped out from under his collar, looking with interest at more than thirty goblins standing behind them. Basically, they were all in dark, rather simple clothes, with helmets on their heads, with the exception of one in a suit, holding a plan of the future "fortress".

"No savings in materials and amateur performances, everything needs to be done according to the plan!" Severus sternly minted every word.

"You are telling me this for the third time…" the chief among them wearily drawled.

"I will remind you every day." Severus said, looking at him.

"Hmph!" "injured" by such distrust from Severus, the goblin turned to the rest of the goblins.

"Get to work! I will pay each of you a thousand galleons when the work is done, but for each joint I will deduct ten from each." Severus announced with a calm smile. After the first half of the sentence, the goblins already beamed, but after the second they froze with joyful expressions on their faces.

Satisfied with such a reaction, Severus turned to the house and, taking out his wand, began to whisper something indistinct, and with every second the temperature around them grew without ceasing, until in an instant the whole house was engulfed in flames.

"Why are you doing this? There were many valuable things inside!" exclaimed the "foreman" in bewilderment, examining the burning building with a real tragedy on his face.

"Don't worry about that: I have already taken everything that had at least some value. There was nothing left inside," the wizard explained indifferently, while looking at the goblin with a half smile, who breathed a sigh of relief after his words, recovering quite quickly, and then, rummaging through the suitcase, promptly took out a business card.

"Look, we recently opened a small furniture store, if you want to sell it, we will gladly buy it at a good price." the goblin said with a smile.

"I'll keep it in mind," nodding, Severus put the card in his pocket, while remembering the things from the room of requirement.

[A/N: I was confused over "help room" or "room of requirements", and the reason behind my confusion was Severus' background, he doesn't have knowledge of this world so he doesn't know its name, but then I ultimately decided on room of requirement since it will be more easy for you guys.]

"Now I don't have to think about who to sell all that rubbish to."

A few minutes later, the house completely burned down, leaving only coals and ashes in its place, which Severus blew aside with the help of wind magic without much difficulty.

"You can proceed," the wizard calmly stepped aside, and the goblins did not hesitate.

A huge amount of different building materials appeared on the ground, which they began to dismantle, while others, using a magic pen, referring to the plan, began to highlight the main points on the site of the burnt mansion, drawing directly on the ground and in the air with shining ink.

'Motivating them with gold was a good idea.' Severus thought with a satisfied smile, looking with interest at the artefacts used by the goblins.

Of course, Snape was not surprised by the usual handles, but the floating platforms and the three-metre-tall stone golem managed to attract his attention, because they did not have a magic core, but they could still move.

It was one thing - stone lions connected to the magical source of Hogwarts, and this creature had nothing of the kind, and they were almost two hundred kilometres away from the bank.

But after a closer examination with the help of magic, Severus lost all interest. He expected to see something like a magic accumulator inside the stone giant, but it turned out to be a simple magic-absorbing rune, but several times weaker than the one that Severus inflicted on the cube. And, in order to somehow dispel boredom.....
