Chapter 58

After leaving the Black mansion, Severus  did not immediately apparate back to his shop, but calmly walked towards the nearby park.

At the same time, he tried to pretend that he does not notice the wizards following him, who, as if on purpose, strove to show that they exist and are still following him, openly staring at his back, probably forgetting that wizards have much more developed senses.

And this all began to annoy Snape, because at least two of them were the closest people to the Dark Lord, but instead of hiding their presence or their shadow, they were openly walking towards him, as if they believed that no one would notice them.

"Either they are complete idiots, or they are too confident in their abilities due to numerical superiority, but I still lean towards the first one…" holding back a frustrated sigh, after a few seconds he smiled, sensing another magic source from the roof following him.

"This one is much better: He chose a good position, hid himself from the eyes of Muggles and wizards, and even worked on his magic  so that I almost do not feel it at such a great distance ... smart, I'll give him a four out of ten, but there is still room to grow and about these idiots following me…" after examining the half-empty streets of the town, along which walked ordinary people dressed up in costumes of all sorts of monsters. Severus , albeit with difficulty, but still nodded. "Okay, these guys are not complete idiots, with their costumes they can still somehow blend into the crowd ..."

After a few minutes, he finally stopped and, looking up at the huge closed gates with the inscription "Green Park" and turned towards the four wizards and beckoned them with his finger, and then, casting a muggle-repelling charm, Severus jumped over them and went further along the stone path.

The four wizards, seeing this gesture and the fact that Severus looked directly at them with a defiant smile, could not contain his anger and, turning into dark clouds, they abruptly took off and rushed towards the Archmage.

"Idiots…" an annoyed female voice sounded from the shadows and then  followed them…and one more masked presence followed all of them...

---

Finally stopping in an empty clearing, Snape looked up at the four approaching "clouds" and at the same moment activated the barrier in order to hide from the Muggles everything that would happen in the park, of course, not forgetting to let the spectator in.

And in a few seconds, four wizards in suits of different colours landed on the faded grass, but this time without masks.

"Well... The Lestrange brothers, Rosier and Travers, and all the purebloods, what a 'surprise', by the way," he pointed to the last person.

"I remember you: you sort of graduated from Hogwarts in seventy-three, and you still ran after Lucius everywhere like a puppy." At Severus 's words, the man turned purple and was about to attack Severus , but Rudolphus stopped him, grabbing his hand and shaking his head.

"Do you understand why you are about to die?" with an icy tone, Rudolphus asked with a hint of malice in his voice, looking directly into the eyes of the smiling Snape.

"You misunderstood the situation," Severus pointed with his finger at the emerging barrier that erected about two hundred metres around them.

"Do you understand why I behaved so frivolously with Bellatrix, right in front of everyone and why I allowed you – four idiots who even simply cannot hide their presence – to follow me?"

Even though Rudolphus was overcome with negative emotions, mostly jealousy that some bastard dared to touch his bride and that also in front of almost the entire noble houses of magical Britain, thereby disgracing not only him but his brother as well.

Who felt almost the same emotions as yet Rabastan could reason more sensibly, and, looking at the transparent dome, Rabastan narrowed his eyes and drawing his wand in a second, exclaimed "Retreat! It is a trap! Confringo!" waving it, the wizard caused a stream of explosive flames to fly straight at the Archmage.

"Brother…!" Rudolphus shouted towards Rabastan.

'I've already seen this somewhere…' was Severus 's last thought before being consumed by the fire.

"We will always have time to take revenge, and he is not alone here! Can't you see this barrier?! Do you think he could build it alone, and even so quickly?!" Rabastan said after firing the spell.

At the same time, Bellatrix, who was watching from the side, froze and her eyes were almost ready to fall out of their sockets, because she saw with her own eyes how Severus was consumed by the flame and he did not even have time to pull out his wand to defend himself.

"How is that possible…? And it's so easy...?" The young woman could not believe her eyes that such an annoying bastard could die so easily.

"Baby, were you really so worried about me that you even followed us," But suddenly she heard a voice which she could recognize, because this voice was so familiar and annoying voice that she could recognize it anywhere, and, without any hesitation, the woman twisted her wand directly at the source of the sound, but, to her surprise, her hand passed through the transparent silhouette of a smiling wizard, but this time he was without a mask.

"This is dangerous: if it weren't an illusion, I would definitely lose an eye." Severus smiled.

"How are you…?!"

"This is magic, my dear Bella" he winked at her, looking towards the battlefield. "But, be honest, you were worried about me, at least a little bit, weren't you?"

"I was hoping that you were already dead ..." she snapped angrily, although somewhere deep, very deep, in the darkest corners of her soul, where there was a small particle of light, Bella was still a little glad because she would not have to report to the Dark Lord about the death of "Severus" and get Crucio for it.

"And I love you…" Severus winked at her.

In the clearing, a group of retreating wizards couldn't contain their shock when the flames surrounding the Archmage dissipated in an instant, leaving no trace of his clothes, only the scorched earth around him testified that some kind of spell had been applied.

But, of course, the wizards in the group did not just watch this "show", instead firing some spells, they ran in different directions.

Seeing this, the young man grinned. After all, he didn't even have to defend himself from the weak spells of wizards cast in the heat of battle because their thoughts were only about retreating and he was protected by a barrier that worked automatically at the moment of danger.

"Clever, maybe it would have worked with someone else, but not with me…" A gust of wind engulfed Severus' body, and he darted sharply towards the slowest of the group.

Of course, Snape could have killed them without even moving, but he did not want to show the observer more than necessary, therefore, before using the levitation spell, he took out his wand, while the young man limited himself to only spells from this world, using "Leviosa" - a spell of levitation and "Ventus", releasing a stream of wind from the tip of the wand.

In just a few seconds, he caught up with the shocked Travers and, without restraining himself, hit Travers on the back of the head with the scabbard, sending him flying straight into the tree with his forehead banging against it.

The man, taken by surprise, did not even have time to squeak, as he was sent into a saving faint.

"First…" abruptly changing direction, Severus flew towards Rosier, who was already ready for him.

The wizard understood that there was no way for him to escape from the unknown person in the mask, so he decided to fight back.

"Bombard Maxim!" and a terrifying blast wave at the same moment overtook Severus, tearing the ground without much difficulty, and even a large tree could not survive the spell of the Death Eater: it was torn apart and scattered in all directions.

"Huh ... huh-huh-huh, got it ?! I killed him! Killed him!" The aristocrat burst into hysterical laughter.

At the same time, Bella, who was watching from the side, could not contain her irritation, because these two simply dishonoured the Dark Lord, and if she had not been interested in Severus 's abilities, she herself would have personally gone and killed them.

And in a moment, the sound of a dull blow sounded, and after that the body of the dark wizard fell to the ground.

"Idiot. To rejoice without even checking whether your enemy is alive or not," Snape scornfully said as returned the katana (sword) back to his belt and looked at the last two wizards who were still hoping of escaping.

"Not bad, but do they really hope to overcome my barrier? Naive…" At the same time, having finally met, the two brothers stopped in front of the barrier.

"So only the two of us made it this far…" Rabastan said while sighing.

"That bastard…" Rudolphus looked at the masked wizard with red eyes.

"Enough, Rudolphus, we don't have time for this, watch my back until I destroy this barrier!" the younger of the brothers snapped sharply, pointing his wand at the dome. "Bombarda!"

A powerful blast wave hit the barrier, leaving no scratches on it, only creating a small crater at the site of the explosion.

"Stronger than I thought. Bombard Maxima!" He threw an enhanced version of the spell he had used earlier, and the blast wave was twice as strong as the last one, but, like last time, it did no damage on the barrier.

"Crap! What kind of spell is capable of creating such a barrier?! Rudolphus! Let's go together!" Rabastan exclaimed, turning around to see his older brother lying at the feet of the masked man.

"Maybe I can help you?" Severus asked with a smile under his mask.

"Flipendo!" Rabastan fired the first spell that came to his mind seeing the masked wizard standing behind him.

Severus  was hit by a wave of magical force that pushed him a few metres back, and Rabastan ran up to his brother, covering him with his body, while managing to throw an analysing spell on him and after a second exhaled with relief.

Rudolphus was still fine, but at this moment, Rabastan has made one very stupid mistake: - Taking his eyes off his opponent.

And the last thing the youngest of the Lestrange brothers saw was the black hilt of a katana, and then darkness …
