An hour later, the boar, with a kitten sitting on its head and Severus with Nagini on its back, stopped in front of a small cave, the animal was pointing to the entrance with its paw.
"Indeed, there is something strange here," the gloomy Snape nodded in agreement, jumping from the back of the monster and approaching her.
Snape felt how the density of magic in the air grew with every step and when he stopped in front of the entrance, it was already three times higher, "Interesting... what do you think?"
"I think there's nothing dangerous there, " the snake answered thoughtfully.
"Okay, then..." but before he had time to finish, Severus noticed that the kitten had walked around him and entered the cave, while looking towards Severus with a mocking look in his eyes.
"Okay, let's follow our guide," grinning, he added, and then turned his gaze to the "transport", "And you..." but seeing an almost crying boar, he shook his head and walked up to it, "Okay, I'll take you with me, but for now you sit here," he took out a small box, which the boar looked at with doubt, and after knocking on his head, the next moment, the shocked beast was simply sucked inside, and the Slytherin put it back in his wallet, but the kitten, oddly enough, was not very surprised by this, and only threw a look at the artefact with interest and continued on his way.
The cave turned out to be just ordinary, but this is if we talk about the first twenty metres and do not pay attention to the magic, the density of which has already increased five times, but having overcome them, the passage widened sharply, and claw marks and something reminiscent of drawings began to appear on the wall , but very fuzzy, therefore, it was impossible to understand what was depicted there, but another change was the familiar turquoise crystals, and the deeper they went down, the larger and more common they became.
The cave painting became much clearer and it was finally possible to make out what was depicted there.
Basically they were: animals and people holding sticks in their hands, from large ones the size of themselves, to small sticks, and also without them, but with headdresses.
But what was most interesting was that there were also sets of certain movements and gestures that seemed vaguely familiar to Snape, but he could not remember where he had seen them.
But Snape did not draw premature conclusions and rack his brains over this, but decided to first study and remember everything, and only then think in a calmer environment.
The cave, to the surprise of the Prince, turned out to be very long and quite deep, and strangely enough, they were not the only ones walking along it; along the way, the wizard saw some magical creatures and not the most peaceful ones walking in their direction, but to his surprise, they just looked at him, and then at the kitten, and walked past, which was too unnatural.
Of course, Severus spoke to Nagini about this, but she didn't feel anything at all and therefore, he assumed that something in this place affects the aggression of monsters, perhaps some kind of smell or magic, affecting only magical creatures.
And finally, after almost fifteen minutes, they saw the light at the end of the tunnel and as soon as Snape crossed the last few metres, a magnificent view opened up to his gaze: It was a huge cave, in no way inferior in size to the very garden underground that was discovered by Snape, in the time of exploration of the "Magic Jungle" and where the old serpent's cub used to live.
The ceiling was dotted with crystals of various colours emitting a bright glow, illuminating the entire area, and in the very centre there was a large lake with crystal clear water, through which one could easily see its bottom, also strewn with crystals.
The shore was almost entirely covered with bright spring grass, a wide variety of flowers, herbs and trees, as well as many huge boulders covered with moss standing around and on each other with holes from which magical creatures looked out.
It was a real paradise for monsters, and it was worth talking about the fact that magic in this place simply burst forth from all the cracks, it was almost ten times denser than outside and the animals lived in real harmony: a simple doe, which is possible miraculously managed to get to this place, she was lying next to the lake, and not far from her were several wolves, and at the same time, they did not pay attention to her at all and calmly snored.
Even the appearance of a man had no effect on the inhabitants of this place, only a couple looked at him with curiosity and closed their eyes back.
Snape's gaze swept over the huge variety of monsters and simple animals, and stopped at the rainbow crystal hanging in the very centre of the cave and a disappointed sigh escaped from his lips.
"If I knew about this, then maybe I wouldn't have to go through that terrible ritual..." but touching his chest, a smile appeared on his face again, "But still, if I had used this crystal to break through to "Magister", then with a hundred percent probability, I definitely wouldn't be able to get the material core, and I don't really want to destroy this mini-paradise, but I'm really surprised that this place exists and this is not a simple tale of one writer," the wizard , found a mention of this place in the autobiography of one person who, once upon a time, out of his stupidity, decided to explore the "Forbidden Forest", ignoring all warnings about the danger, relying on his invisibility cloak, and only at night he realised all the horror and why in the name In this place the word "forbidden" came first.
And when two trolls were running after him in the pitch darkness, he tripped and began to slide into some cave, and when the young man finally stopped, he realised that no one else was chasing him and he saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel, so the wizard visited this place, but after the release of the book, no one believed him, like Severus himself, but he still did not deny the possibility of the existence of such a "paradise", because magic and wizards can create almost anything.
But still, although he was pleased to watch all this, something interested him. And having passed several thestrals who snorted displeasedly towards the man, he approached the wall covered with centuries-old moss and waving his right hand upward, the next moment it began to disappear, revealing to the Prince the drawings hidden under it and he began to memorise them.
At the same time, the kitten approached him, curiously followed his actions, but did not interfere with him, because he did not harm this place and the monsters living here.
Other magical creatures also saw his actions, but they were thinking in approximately the same direction as the kitten, so they quickly returned to their business, that is, to rest.
---
And so the next hour continued, until Severus finally made a long circle along the wall, completely clearing it of moss and returning back to the exit.
In addition to various movements depicting use of sticks and hands, there were also simpler ones on the wall paintings: how to butcher an animal, using the example of some kind of wild boar; methods of making weapons; people throwing spears and shooting bows; as well as a huge number of a wide variety of creatures, from simple to magical ones, and even a dragon, which was depicted very naturally and Snape could say for sure that it was real, and not those that were not virulent.
And it is logical that this place most likely belonged to some ancient people, it was clear from the drawings alone, but still his attention was attracted by those with headdresses in their hands: either the flame was burning, or they were surrounded by pillars resembling water , then the stones hovered over their heads, then they actually fought with monsters that were ten times larger than themselves and most likely they were one of the first wizards of humanity, and this place was their home and the fact that they could fight with those creatures on equal terms, has already spoken of the huge gap between the wizards of the past and this time. But still, something bothered him...
"Why do some movements seem so familiar to me…" Severus said gloomily, stroking his chin, but no matter how much he tried to remember, everything was unsuccessful and to say for sure whether this feeling was caused by his memories or "Severus", he could not, because they had already completely "merged" with him, "Eh... it was still worth marking them somehow," Severus muttered with a tired sigh, looking up at Nagini, who, while he was studying the drawings, was crawling around this place and also examining everything accompanied by a kitten who was bored with following the wizard.
"I'll let her walk a little more, and for now I'll work on my memory and separate the parts that belonged to Severus, although I'm still ninety-seven percent sure that this feeling applies to me, because how could a boy like him see something like that, but three percent remain. He studied at school and could well see this in books, but not pay special attention to them, yet Muggles have gone much deeper into the study of the history of the world and I would not be surprised if they find evidence of the existence of wizards precisely because of this…" Shaking his head, he tried to throw unnecessary thoughts out of his head and focus on his mind...
