Chapter 8

It's been a few days since I've been living together with Jinseok's sunbae family. I really hope that my brother is okay. I can't help worrying about him. But lately, Jinseok sunbae appeared in my dream.

He sang and cheered me up. I felt happy when I'm with him. But he was in the dreamland. In real life he is just like an ordinary person. Very shy and timid. The only weird behaviour that he has is he just cares about me more than himself.

For me of course I felt a bit awkward. But gradually I'm quite okay with his behaviour. In school he was also there during lunch time, sometimes he waited for me until my class finished.  

"Byeonghee…"

"Now what the matter, Yoojin? Are you sick or what? Don't tell me…."

"Yah! I'm okay right now, I'm just waiting for some news about my brother."

Then, Dongjoon came,

"Yoojin…long time no see."

"Dongjoon." I greet happily because it's been long time I've seen Dongjoon.

"I heard that your brother was beaten up by the bullies. Can I visit your brother later if he wakes up?"

"Later I will tell Jinseok sunbae if you can visit my brother."

"Why do you need to tell Jinseok sunbae?"

"Actually, my beloved brother Seunghwan asked Jinseok sunbae to take care of me. You know that my parents and Jinseok's sunbae parents are close friends."

"Okay, but do you really have feelings towards Jinseok sunbae" Dongjoon asked the most straightforward question. I kept quiet because I didn't know how to react or how to answer the question. 

Byeonghee said "You must asked Jinseok sunbae first, no need to asked Yoojin"

"Okay… I will stop teasing her. So when do your bother discharge"

"I still don't know when. Only Jinseok sunbae know about my brother's condition"

Jinseok sunbae enter my class, 

"Yoojin-ah, here's…. your lunchbox

"Okay, thanks Jinseok sunbae"

"Bye, later on....  Lunch time I will accompany you... " Jinseok blush.

"Sunbae, may I know Sangmin sunbae condition." asked Dongjoon.

''He's already wake up.... Seunghwan....have called me.''

After I heard about Sangmin oppa news I was really happy and....

"Jinseok sunbae, can we visit my brother."

"I will asked... Seunghwan about this... If he allowed all of you... I will.. inform back..."

Flashback....

Seunghwan POV

It's been several days Sangmin unconscious. I'm actually pretty worried if anything bad happen to him and of course Yoojin will be worried if anything bad happen to her brother.

Right now, I only can pray for a miracle to happen. My parents are still on their way to South Korea. I already asked them to just do their work because I can handle it. Jinseok's father already help my family to file a lawsuit to the bullies.

I kept on praying that Sangmin will wakes from his unconsciousness. I know he's sometimes can be problematic at home but he's a good brother for Yoojin.

Then....

Finally he's awake. I quickly call the doctor and nurse to check on his condition.

Thanks God the results a good,  but he need to rest at the hospital for 2 to 3 days more.

I quickly called Jinseok,

"Hello, Seunghwan"

"Hello, Jinseok. I have good news, Sangmin just wake up from his unconsciousness."

"Glad to hear the news"

"You and Yoojin can visit Sangmin after school or tomorrow."

"Okay, later I will tell her"

"Thanks, Jinseok for taking care my younger sister. "

"Seunghwan.... You and Sangmin.... already help me a... lot... So...  no need to thank me...  I help you... because I'm your... friend..."

After Jinseok called Seunghwan back,  Seunghwan agreed that Yoojin and her friend come to visit Sangmin.

At lunch time Jinseok waited for Yoojin and her friends when....

"Oh my god, sorry my hand slipped."

Yoojin's

Jinseok knew that Yoojin always been bullied by her twins brother's fans. He always hear but never see it with his own eyes.

Yoojin want to cry but she holds her tears and act tough but she can't. Jinseok came to Yoojin and grab her hand then sit at the place that Jinseok already sat earlier.

The bullied pour a small carton of milk on Yoojin. At that time,  Jinseok already had enough from what he saw.

"You better stop bullying her if not you will take the consequences."

The bullies just dismiss after Jinseok said those words. Then Yoojin's friends came. They were shock to see Yoojin was soaking wet.

Jinseok ask her friends to comfort Yoojin because he wanted to report the cases to the school authority. Jinseok also asked his mother to bring a set of new uniforms and towel for Yoojin to change.

After Yoojin change her uniform, she still felt bad to Jinseok that willingly help her on the time that her brother are not by her side.

"Jinseok sunbae,...." she hold on Jinseok's sleeve.

Jinseok look at Yoojin and softly smile at her. Yoojin already know that Jinseok will always be there in her dream and in real life. Tears started to fall, Jinseok gently wiped Yoojin's tears...

"Don't cry, we going to visit your brother."

His gentle and soft voice makes Yoojin feel save and protected.

After the school end,

"Thanks, Jinseok for report this bully case."

"No need to thank me. I'm just doing my job to protect my friends"

"The bullies will be suspended for 2 months, if this thing happen again just felt free to report it to us"

"Yes, Sir"

The bully case is settle, he walk out for the principal office and wait for Yoojin and her friends at the school garden. The garden was quiet so he start to sing.

After he finished the song, he smile when he watch Yoojin came toward him.

"Sunbaenim, sorry for keeping you waiting for us."

Jinseok just smile and reply,

"It's okay. Let's go visit Sangmin"

Yoojin were really happy to visit his beloved brother. She have miss them like ages but being with Jinseok also makes Yoojin feel safe and protected.

As their enter the room, Yoojin quickly run towards her brother. She cried again.

"Do you miss us, Yoojin"

Yoojin nod while crying and hugging her beloved brother, Seunghwan.

"Sorry for making you worried. At least your brother still in one piece" Sangmin laughed. He tried to make the atmosphere bright again.

"Thank you, Jinseok for taking care of my younger sister."

"No problem."

They all talked to Sangmin. Sangmin was really happy that someone visited him. Then.... Seunghwan notice that Jinseok smiling at Yoojin.

"Jinseok, can we talked outside for a minute"

"Okay."

They both when outside.

"Lately, Yoojin have been a good kid or not."

"She... been a good girl."

"I hope if anything happen to me and Sangmin in the future you can take care of her. If someone bullied her please protect her."

"Actually.... today at lunch time... She been bullied by...  a few girls...  But don't worry... I have report it to... the school principal."

"That's what I'm been worried. By the way thanks for taking care of her for me. And also your family thanks for helping us. "

"It's what's friend do. No... Need to thank us. "

As the sun going to set, Yoojin cried again....

"Why can't oppa go home?"

"Can't you see I'm still need to recover. You don't have to worried Seunghwan is the want who take care of me."

"But..."

"No buts young girl. Go home with Jinseok."

"Yah, Sangmin. You don't have to yell at her. Yoojin-ah you need to wait for 3 to 4 days. Once the doctors tell that Sangmin discharge I will tell you okay."

"Okay but don't forget to tell me" Yoojin making a picky promise to Seunghwan. Sometimes Yoojin's cuteness make everyone loss.

"Jinseok, sorry to bother you but she have to stay for a couple of days at your house."

"No problem, I will take care of her really well."

"Thanks, Jinseok"

Yoojin's friends bit goodbye to the Lee's twin, Yoojin and Jinseok. Jinseok and Yoojin walked home.
