-The Stork and Dragon?-Chapter 38
Lucy sighed as she had been given the job to finally give nashi the news of her new baby brother or sister. She really hated natsu during this pregnancy making her think it was a boy since it was a myth that boys with fathers hate each other and girls with fathers got along just fine. She didn't believe it since she never believed in myths but she found herself hating natsu more as days went by.
Natsu didn't want to have 'the talk' with nashi so he told Lucy to do it earning him a growl from her. He decided to take a mission today since he was hoping to apologize to anyone at the guild for what happened 3 days ago. He left the house after he finished puking himself empty as he trudged to the guild.
*lucy sighed once again as she stood infront of the mirror in only her underwear looking at the bump becoming more noticeable, that's when nashi came into view through the reflection behind her and stood quietly observing what her mommy was looking at.*
"Mommy what's wrong? Are you getting more fat?"
*Nashi said bluntly as Lucy felt a blow to her self esteem.*
"No Nashi, I'm getting ready to have a… a baby you see?"
*lucy turned around as she approached her daughter putting on a loose shirt she used when she was pregnant with Nashi that was natsu's.*
"Ahhhh…. But why are you getting ready for a baby? Don't you like me? Am I not a cute baby anymore?"
*Nashi said it with a hint of unstable emotion but Lucy shook her head and couldn't help a giggle.*
"No Nashi, I'm having another baby it's all…"
"Oh ok, so I'm going to have 2 brothers now?"
*lucy looked at Nashi confusingly until she remembered her calling steel her new 'brother'. Finally lucy laughed out loud and sat on the bed and motioned Nashi to come to her.*
"No.. *giggle* Nashi, the boy you saw the other day is not your brother. He's just another kid with the same hair color as you. He didn't come from mommy's tummy…"
*lucy regretted saying that now, she never had the talk with her parents when she was little since she never got a chance to become curious about where babies come from. But learned later from books that talked about where babies came from with embarrassing photos and 'erotic' fanfictions…
So now she had to come up with a method on her own to explain to Nashi partly the truth to it..*
"Then did I come from mommy's stomach too? And is there a baby inside you right now?"
*Nashi touched Lucy's belly over her daddy's shirt as her little palm gave lucy a sense of warmth just like natsu.*
"Yes, I have a baby in here now. He's as small as a peach, but later my stomach is going to get bigger because he's going to grow bigger and stronger till he comes out."
*lucy didn't specify from where but just told her common knowledge of what the baby was doing.*
"Wow! That's so cool! But… mommy.. how did it get inside your stomach?"
There it was…
*lucys face exploded in color as she remained calm but closed her eyes. She internally screamed for a lie to come up with in those few seconds as she blurted out something that was a genius lie that might work*
"I got a baby in my stomach because of daddy!
y-you se-see he went to a mountain oneday and asked a dragon to give him a baby, I-I was there so I saw everything, then a big dragon came out from the clouds and gave daddy a magic spell that when he kissed the person he loved the most he will have a baby with her, so your daddy ki-kissed me and I-I had you, but d-daddy is a g-greedy jerk so he wanted a-another baby so we went to the mountains again when you were still little, and the dragon gave him another spell and now we have this baby!"
*Nashi stared at her suspiciously as lucy felt sweatdrops of bullets falling from her face as Nashi finally let out a 'aha!'*
"I knew Laurie and letisha were lying to me! They told me that there mommy and daddy had to make love to each other so loud that a big giant bird called a 'stork' can hear them and give them a baby because he only gave babies to loud mommy and daddy's."
*lucy felt like she betrayed levy now as she asked Nashi where did the twins hear this from.*
"Oh? They said there mommy and daddy told them that.. but letisha was being mean to me about how you and daddy are not loud like her mommy and daddy and that I would never get a brother.. I knew she was wrong!"
*lucy felt a bitter sting at Nashi sad tone of being a only child but was finally glad that Nashi had accepted the news of a new baby in the house.*
Right after a knock was heard as Nashi bolted downstairs like a pro now and opened the door to her daddy.
"Daddy! Daddy! Why didn't you tell me you and mommy where going to give me a baby brother!"
*natsu took this as a good sign that lucy finally told her about how they got their baby and went along with it.*
"Well, that's because you never asked~ hahaha your so slow Nashi~"
"No I'm not daddy! Now after mommy has this baby I want you to go to Igneel and ask him for 100 more kisses for 100 more babies!!!"
*natsu tripped on invisible air as he landed on his face not believing what he heard. He decided that the floor tasted great and acting dead was the best escape route until he heard what lucy told Nashi…
He was so embarrassed in hearing that his 'father' had a part in the 'baby making process' it sent shivers down his back and never knew that was one way to drain all blood from him..*
"Lu-CY!!!!! GET DOWN HERE PLEASE!!!"
*natsu begged in a pityful tone, he needed to hear the other side of the story to deny this horrible image in his head.*
Lucy came down right after natsu finished yelling, she looked piss at natsu for screaming so damn loud but tried her best to keep her emotions under control.
"What is it natsu.."
*lucy noticed natsu was on the floor looking up at her while Nashi jumped on his back pulling and playing with his hair.*
"Why are you on the floor? Did I tell you to mop?"
"Haha.. very funny… but what did you tell Nashi about what we did to get the baby?"
*natsu made it a open answer question giving lucy full control to tell him without making a mistake infront of Nashi.*
"Oh! I told her how you went to the mountains oneday to receive a kiss spell that would give the woman you love a baby-"
Lucy was interrupted by Nashi as she yelled something out that she jumped on natsu earning her a 'oof' from him
"FROM A DRAGONS WHOSE NAME IS IGNEEL!"
*lucy knew who Igneel was so it shocked her to hear her daughter know who he was without lucy knowing about it.*
"Nashi, who told you about Igneel?"
"Daddy did!"
'Of course he did'
*lucy sighed as she was made a embassing image of the all mighty Igneel having a natsu bellow him asking him to give him a kiss spell to make the baby.. she couldn't help it now as she laughed out loud clutching her sides*
"Nashi! The dragon that daddy went to ask for the kisses wasn't his daddy, it was a different dragon. Daddy's, Daddy Igneel is a fire dragon, he can't give special spell kisses that make babies."
Lucy finally fixing the misunderstanding while also giving room for natsu to hear what she had told Nashi, gave natsu a chance to back up her story.
"Y-yeah that's right Nashi, my daddy Igneel can't give babies, he's king of all fire dragons.."
*Nashi stopped riding natsu like a pony as she stopped to look at him above his head.*
"Wait- daddy are you a prince then?"
*natus thought for a second before nodding his head..*
"Then that means I'm a princess! And mommy is a princess too! Wow!!! Ima PRINCESS!!"
Nashi tan out of the house as she made laps around the house screaming she was a princess leaving natsu to finally breath..
He looked up to fully see that Lucy was wearing his shirt as he stood up he purred into her neck
"Shit luce, if you weren't pregnant right now I would take you right now.. you look good in my clothes.."
"Shut up natsu… you will have some time to take me in 10 months from now…"
*lucy murmured as she felt turned on by what natsu said but also wary about her words and gave herself a 2 months realistic break… having a baby leaves a mess there so 2 months would be ok to do those things then..*
"Luce… your playing with fire…"
*natsu stopped himself as he just kissed lucy with a quick peck and ran after Nashi to chase her till he calmed down.*
"Dumb dragon…"
*lucy murmured as she felt a blush crawl into her cheeks*
