-Nashi’s first word!!-Chapter 25

It's been 2 months since the knotting incident, Lucy and natsu summed up that they wouldn't do that again until they were more educated about it. Lucy found out from levy that what she went through was 'knotting' which levy came out with twins. Lucy didn't take it too well after hearing about the chances of having 8 kids at once, she told herself it would be okay as long as her period keeps coming….

Her period stopped…

She sighed now as she was on the toilet home alone with Nashi sitting in her little walker natsu built for her out of wood. Nashi was more aware now as she was now 10 months old. She still bit things but her mouth was finally getting her teeth and she spoke more baby language that nobody could understand.

Lucy looked at the stick she peed on and saw two double pink lines…

The irony of the lines being pink and twins was enough to make Lucy laugh a bit, but she felt a bit bummed out. She didn't want twins, she just wanted a single baby. But she huffed in frustration as she came to terms that oh well, the best scenario is that she has twins and not octuplets. She finally rested the test on the sink as she got up from the toilet seat to stretch and look in the mirror, in 4 months she would begin to show again. And in 7 she will begin to feel her babies move, and at 9 months she will do it all again..

As she was about to carry Nashi out from the walker to go downstairs she heard a faint knock from the bathroom door. She opened the door while carrying Nashi now. She could herself a surprise of some very beautiful flowers. They were being held infront of her by someone who had matching hair color as the flowers. Natsu held them at a level where the flowers covered his face, he had picked flowers today for no specific reason today. He just felt like today was a good day to give Lucy some flowers.

"Oh! These are so pretty! What's the occasion natsu?"

"Nope. There's no occasion, I just had a feeling I would be doing this today…"

*lucy felt a romantic aura coming from natsu, it really was hard to ever get mad at him because he would find ways to melt her heart.*

"Well natsu, if you give me those flowers I'll give you something in return, deal?"

*natsu was confused but already on board with the deal as he shook his head yes and placed the flowers in a vase on top of her writing table in their room. Lucy handed nashi to natsu while he sat on the bed as she motioned to him to take a seat. He sat down playing with Nashi a bit until Lucy came back out of the restroom with something behind her back. She told natsu to close his eyes, she placed the test strip on natsu's lap where Nashi wasn't sitting on. He opened his eyes and saw the weird plastic strip with lines on it.*

"Lucy? What's this?"

"Come on natsu I can't help you, you have to figure it out.."

"Hmm? (Author: cringe alert cringe alert)

*natsu took the stick to look at it closer. He didn't see anything wrong with it as he placed it against the sunlight that leaked through the room from their window. Nashi observed her papa look at the weird stick she saw 'luce' sit on so she was more curious to why papa looked at it. Next thing natsu did was smell the stick…. Lucy almost stopped him from smelling him but she was too late as she saw natsu scrunched his nose and looked at her with a funny look.*

"Luce?? Did yo-"

"UUUUUUU, UCCEEE, LU-CEE"

*Nashi remember that she had a job to do for her 'papa' so she decided to try out her babbling now, which earned her stares the size of saucers..*

"Natsu, did she just call me, Lucy?"

*lucy looked at natsu not sure if she heard right, so she was getting confirmation from her partner who had better hearing then her.*

"Yes, yes she did!!!"

*natsu was so excited now, he was so proud of Nashi for saying 'Lucy' after 2 months. It was a week after Lucy's birthday but, what the hell! She still did it*

"Aww Nashi my little baby, can you call me 'Ma-Ma' now?"

*lucy asked Nashi with some expectations*

"Uuuu, uuuuu, Pa-Pa!"

*Nashi thought she was doing so many cool things now because the next word papa, made lucy look at her with huge eyes, but saw her 'papa' look at her with a nervous glare… maybe because she had said papa before he was nervous lucy would find out.*

"No it's 'MMMMmmma- MMMMmma' "

*Nashi giggled now as she began to get bored of the attention and went to try biting her hand better.*

"Hmm, oh well… at least she said lucy right?"

*lucy said this with a positive outlook on it then realized Nashi's first word was her name.*

"OH MY MAVIS! NASHIS FIRST WORD WAS MY NAME!!! THATS SO SWEET!!!"

*natsu was happy watching lucy become so happy at this so he joined the celebration forgetting about the mysterious stick lucy gave him which ended falling off the bed and kicked under to be forgotten..*
