-3 months absence- Chapter 76
As the dragon landed, he carefully placed his children down as Liddan stopped crying somewhere in the middle of the flight as he layed down Nashi on the ground. He looked up to see the old Dragneel residence torn and busted down. It was missing half of the roof and some walls had collapsed already.
'Kin, where's your mother? Where's my mate?..'
*the dragon asked as he still felt his mate connection still alive.. but he didn't find her back at the nest, so he assumed the children knew.*
"She's … gone… she passed away.."
*Liddan didn't think as he announced his mothers death but looked up at he heard some crunches coming from the dragon.*
The dragon refused to accept his mate was dead so he began to tear apart the home looking for his 'mate'.
"Dad!! She's not in there!.. you time traveled to the future! And … our mother from the future is dead already.. but mom from your time is still alive.."
The dragon stopped as it sighed in relief but began to ask questions.
'What's your name? I feel like I know it but I don't.. what has happened to me? And why did I let someone kill your sibling?!'
Liddan sighed as he began explaining his father again what had happened… at least he knew this would be the last time he explains as the curse was finally gone.

After explaining everything the dragon nodded its head as he looked up at the sky…
'Then why am I not returning back to my time? As far as I know I'm time magic, all things that has been affected should turn back or make a butterfly effect..'
Liddan thought hard about that question until he reached a conclusion.
"That's because you came traveling to the future and killed the 'future' vidal. If you want everything to be fixed you need to kill your 'vidal' from the present, but to do that you need to go back in time…"
'Alright then how can I go back?'
"You have to wait 3 months for the power of the time-watch to let you go back to the past in a one way trip…"
The dragon grunted as he wasn't patient but accepted the conditions.
In 3 months, they held a burial for Nashi as they buried her next to Lucy's grave. Liddan and his dragon father went around the kingdom of fiore demolishing what's left of the dark guild, as they built a new magic council restoring peace. And finally it was time for the dragon to go back.
"Dad, I'm going to miss you.."
*Liddan changed in his short time having his father back.. he grew more affectionate and appreciated his father more now. It hurt him letting him go like this but knew it had to me done.*
'Here, I give you a gift as my father made for me.'
The dragon gave him a scarf that was white in his scales. Liddan shed a tear as he clutched the scarf and wrapped it around his wrist.
"Thanks dad.."
'This is a goodbye for now, not forever..'
The dragon warped back to his human form as he final finished his mission to protect his kin as natsu looked back at Liddan.. he gave a small smile as he walked through the vortex and disappeared.
*Liddan wiped his tears as he destroyed the machine that helped make the vortex as he begun his mission to lead the new magic council. But the moment he walked out the storage room underneath the old fairy tail he heard laughter..*
He rushed out as he saw guild members drinking away and boasted about how one wasn't a man. He took a look as he saw people he recognized who had died coming back to life like nothing happened. Then suddenly he stood stiffly as he heard a laugh he recognized..
"Liddan, what are you doing back there? Come! Mom, Dad and everyone else are waiting for you!"
Liddan turned to see Nashi's bright face grin at him happily. He began to cry as he rushed over to her and hugged her.
"What's wrong Liddan? Did you wet the bed or something?"
*Nashi teased as she always has but Liddan only shook his head as he backed away to look at her now.*
"No… I just had a terrible nightmare.."
*Liddan sniffed as he cleared his tears from his face, his old scars had disappeared now and his dull blond hair began to return to a shiny gold color. He let out a smile as he wrapped a arm around Nashi and walked out to meet up with his family again..*

Natsu made it back to his time as the vortex behind him closed. He looked around as he saw he was back at the bridge before entering the forest. He smiled as he began his run to his home, back to Nashi and Liddan he knew, back to Lucy.. and his unborn children waiting for him.
He saw the home come into view now as he kept running. His legs burned in soreness but he didn't care until he made it to the door. He panted as he catches his breath as he slowly turned the knob open. When he opened it he saw two children sitting in the middle of the living room playing with some blocks unassumingly, but Nashi heard the door open as she looked at the door… she grew a big grin on her face as she got up jumping over Liddan. Little Liddan cried as his sister dunked his head but when he looked at the door he began crying as he too ran after Nashi to hug him.
"PAPA!!!"
"*sob*DADDY!!*sob*"
Both children hugged natsu as he held their heads to his side of his waist. He missed them so much even though he had seen them not long ago. But he looked around as he looked for the third person, lucy.
"I missed you both… where's your mother?"
Bothe Nashi and Liddan looked at him as they pointed upstairs, natsu began walking upstairs as he lead the two children up with him. When he opened the door lucy laid on the bed with her back to the door. She heard the door open but didn't even bother turning around.
"Nashi, please go away… mommy can't help you right now.."
"What do you mean you can't help Nashi? It's me luce."
Lucy turned around quickly to find natsu standing at the door now. She began to cry as her eyes filled up with tears.
"Na-natsu…"
Natsu made his way to lucy but saw something off about her, suddenly he heard a baby crying.
"Lucy?"
"Aww man, and I just got them to sleep already.."
*lucy groaned as she moved to the side of the bed letting natsu see 3 babies wrapped in blankets. One was crying as the other two began to fuzz and whine from the 3rd ones crying.*
Natsu came closer as he carried the one who was crying and rocked it in his arms. It calmed down as it opens its eyes to see who was the warm person who carried him.
"Hi there, I'm your papa… lucy.. how long have I been gone.."
*natsu dreaded now as he had feared had happened.. did he miss the birth of his children?*
"Natsu.. you have been missing for 3 months… we all were looking for you.. we had thought we found a lead with this dark guild we found yesterday but it turned out you weren't there.."
*lucy hanged her head inbetween her shoulders as she covered her face. Natsu sat next to her with his baby still in his arms and Nashi and Liddan sat by lucy and natsu's feet.*
"Don't cry luce… all that matters is that I'm here now… rest luce, I'll take over now acting for these three.."
*natus put the baby he carried in his arms inside a baby basket that was nearby as he put one more next to that one while carrying the last one who was still asleep in his arm.*
"Thank you natsu.. I'll just take a short… nap.."
*lucy rested her head as she quickly fell asleep.*
Natsu sighed as he carried the babies out and Nashi with Liddan followed him out.
