Chapter 101 Dawnbreak

In the morning, Rose, Amber, and Miya, approached Chrys who was just sitting on the chair, eating the food set on the table.

"Morning~" They greeted, rubbing the sleepyness off of their eyes.

"Morning."

They then sat down with Chrys before they started eating. After chewing the food in her mouth, Miya then asked. "Did Lilly come back? She said she was going out last night, right?"

To which Chrys replied. "Yes, she came back pretty late. And slept pretty late aswell."

"Is she okay?" Amber asked.

"She'll be fine. The reason she stayed up late is because she was preparing our disguises."

"Disguises?"

"Yes, disguises. The Sun region... cut that. The entire eastern quadrant, Sun and Jade region included. Have a unique way of dressing."

"It's like this because they are seperated from the rest of the world with the mountains that surrounded them. Of coarse, this seperation caused them to develop their own culture, background, and techniques."

"This shows a lot in the way they dress. I'm sure Lilly labeled your clothes with names, so go and find them for yourself."

"Mind telling us where exactly they are? I'm sure Lilly told you where she placed them."

"Hmm, no. I don't feel like it. Treat this as a morning exercise. Signs of gratitude are welcome."

"You trolly little!" Rose's forehead popped a vein as she tried to throw hands at Chrys, who was silently eating with a mischievous smile on his face. Luckly, Amber and Miya held Rose down before anything broke.

As the girls finished eating, the rest began coming down. Miya, Amber, and the still grumbling Rose greeted Morgan, a dead V, Set who was carrying him, and Hela with Loki on her left shoulder.

They all then sat at the table with Chrys, leaving V's corpse just laying on the ground.

Nothing really happened when they ate beside V reviving himself, and throwing a tantrum before sitting down and eating.

There was also the time when Loki repeatedly tried taking Set's food, but Set just picked Loki up and dropped it on the floor before Loki would try again a bit later.

And then, they all finished eating. Chrys told them what he told the girls earlier, that Lilly has prepared disguises for them.

After cleaning the table, leaving enough food on the table for one more person before Chrys led the group to where the disguises are located.

Only after a few seconds after they left, Celine appeared. Without a word, she just sat down and ate the remaining share all on her own.

In the another room somewhere in the building, to the Rose's frustration, Chrys led the group to the room where the disguises are located.

As they all began taking their new clothes, Miya asked. "Why is Lilly not with you?"

To which Morgan replied. "She is asleep, or atleast was asleep. Don't bother her for now, she can get up on her own."

V then chimed in saying. "I remember now! Damned bitch, broke my bell." Holding up a very familiar handheld bell with a knife stabbing through it.

After failing to ring it successfully, V just discarded it to the side. Chrys looked at him and said. "V, play nice."

"Shut it, Goldie!"

Chrys then said. "Morgan, if your going to change, leave that stupid bow behind."

"Yes."

"And that jacket aswell."

"Yes." Said Morgan, surprisingly sounding a bit down.

As the girls and Morgan left for seperate room to change, the men remained in the same room with Hela and Loki.

"Hela, go ahead and change. And, Loki, hide yourself as well if your going outside."

"Okay." Hela then left the room with hissing Loki and her new clothes.

After changing themselves, the boys left the room with their new clothes to blend in. As they headed downstairs, they met up with the rest.

As Celine tried to run past them, Chrys threw her clothes at her, landing perfectly into her face and arms. After meeting her glare, Chrys explained. "Go and change when you go out. And also, try to keep a low profile when you do."

"Hmph!" Celine just released a cold snort before attempting to drop the clothes onto the ground, but Chrys then added. "Lilly is the who made them."

Celine immediately stopped herself from dropping the clothes, looked at it before saying. "I'm not going outside then." Before going upstairs with the clothes still in her grasps.

After silently following her with his eyes, Chrys then joined the others. As Morgan fixed up the girls' and Hela's apperance, Chrys approached V and Set saying. "That reminds me, you two in particular, V, Set. Do you remember what you two did the last time that we were here?"

"Eat shit!"

"Yes, V led me to commit a crime."

"Even though basically everyone technicolored hair, you two should still keep to yourself because someone might put it together, got that?"

"Oh no, I seem to have lost my hearing, nye~!" V said mockingly as he left the conversation.

Set then looked at Chrys before saying with a straight face. "I promise not to commit arson."

As Chrys was about to leave, he noticed Set fidgeting with the jewelry that came with his clothes. He then asked. "Did Lilly put that in your clothes?"

"Yes. I'm just wondering if they're real or not." Said Set, looking at the golden ring he placed in his palms.

"Well, there's only really one way to figure it out."

"Your right." Set replied before dropping the ring onto the ground.

Along with Chrys, they began stomping on the ring, kicking up a bit of dust. V then returned while fanning the dusr away with his hands while coughing. He then yelled. "Oi! Stop it!"

After intentionally prollonging the stomping out of spite, Chrys stopped way after Set, who then picked up the dented shiny ring before saying. "It's real."

As Set went away to clean the ring, V asked Chrys. "What exactly are we doing here?"

To which Chrys replied. "Like usual, find information."

"I heard they made a red light district. Do we send Celine over there? I'm sure she'll do just fine over there." Said V, looking very spiteful and angrier than usual.

Chrys let out a chuckle before saying. "V, play nice."

"YOU play nice!"

Hearing V's normal reply, Chrys, after releasing a sigh, said with a low tone. "V, do you remember that time when we got chased by Immortals?"

"That happens everytime we meet them."

"No, do you remember the first time we met them, back when we just met Celine."

"I have a vague recollection. What's your point?!"

"Do you remember that time when you, me, and Set sneaked into their building?"

"Oh..." V's expression changed as he began to realize what Chrys was getting to.

"Do you remember the horror they were capable of? V, do you remember what we saw down there?" Said Chrys as he began whispering into V's ear while wearing a mischievous smile.

Meanwhile, V's face tells everyone that sees it that he is currently having a PTSD flashback. His face full of sheer horror like he was forced to watch the most gruesome thing ever.

Then, Chrys continued. "My point is, I think the only reason Celine isn't like that is because, well,  she is still innocent and pure."

"And if we send her to that district, she might awaken something in her. Are you sure you want to deal with that, V?" Chrys asked, looking like a snake whispering into V's ear.

As V was still wearing this horrified expression, he then heard a noise that truly sent him off the edge.

"Your talking something rude about me, aren't you?" Said Celine, dressed in the clothes Lilly gave her, looking very unimpressed on the stairs.

V felt his soul leave his body as he awkwardly turned to look at her. He then said while still looking like he saw his worst fear. "Ah, Celine, I wasn't saying something rude behind your back. It was Gold-"

Just as V turned around to sell out his partner in crime, Chrys' seemingly disappeared into thin air.

Then, V heard a faint opening and closing of a door in the distance. He then turned back, staring deep into Celine's disappointed gaze before he bolted out of the room, running like his life was on the line.

Seeing V running out, Hela tried to follow but was stopped by Morgan who said. "If your going out, leave you axe behind."

Hela then haphazardly threw her axe to the side before following V outside with her new clothes bearing a large lizard stitching on the side.

Rose followed Hela leave with her gaze before she asked. "Miss Morgan, can we also go out?"

"Sure. Just remember what Lilly told you beforehand. Or just use your common sense, that's also fine."

Miya then added. "Can we help out on something? Chrys and others seemed to have a plan in mind."

"We are here to collect information on the organisation that took you from your village. Just keep your ears open on anything suspicious."

"Okay."

As the three girls left the building, Miya thought. "Wait. How did Miss Morgan know about my village? I don't think I told her that?"

"Oh, maybe Chrys told her. But didn't he also... nevermind."

As they began running freely outside, Set asked Morgan. "Are you sure we should let them go out without supervision?"

"They'll be fine."

Then, Celine began walking towards the door. Set then asked her. "Where are you going?"

Looking very annoyed, Celine turned to him and said mockingly. "Oh, I don't know. Outside?"

"You said earlier that you weren't going."

"Oh, look at that! I changed my mind, how is that possible?!"

"Chrys said to not cause too much attention."

"And what about it?! Oh, wait. I seem to have forgotten that, I. Don't. Care!"

Unfazed by Celine mocking, Set then said. "You are definately going to grab unwanted attention."

With a vein popping on her head, Celine asked with an annoyed tone. "So, what?"

And simultainously, they both entered their fighting stance, looking like a brawl is about to start any second.

Then, the silent third person then spoke out. Morgan simply said. "Stop it." Causing the other two to focus their attention to her.

She then threw something at Celine, who easily caught it. Celine stared at her hands, looking down at a pair of sunglasses.

Morgan then said. "Like Chrys, your eyes stand out a bit too much. Go out wearing that and keep to yourself. Preferably, don't come back."

"Hmph!" Celine only gave her a cold snort before she left the building with the sunglasses.

After she left, Set said to Morgan. "I'm leaving aswell."

"Go."

And with that, Morgan was the only person remaining in the building. Until she wasn't.

Lilly, rubbing her eyes, came down the stairs asking. "Have they all left, Sister Morgan?"

Morgan gave her a little nod before replying. "Yes, they have."

"Why didn't you go with them?"

"So I can stay here with you."

"Thank you."

"Is there a problem, Lilly?"

"No. It's just that... Can I have some time alone, please?"

"Sure."

And with that, Morgan also left the building, leaving Lilly to just stand there, staring blankly into nothing.
