47 Skill 2/3

As soon as Teekl sensed something was amiss, he quickly lost it before he could even find the source. However, the cat wasn't going to keep quiet about it because sometimes you just have to trust your gut.

("Master...I'm not sure what it was, but I sensed someone watching us just now.") Teekl said as he walked over to Ethan while he was conjuring two elements at the time.

It is generally an unwise decision, but when you are able to use all elements then how can you not think about combining them?

Ethan quickly stopped his practice and exhaled deeply, there was a line of sweat on his brow from how hard he was concentrating for the past hour.

'Someone that can escape your senses?... They must have slipped up for some reason, but regardless they are probably dangerous...' Ethan thought before calling everyone into the RV to discuss their next course of action.

"Who could be watching us? Are we famous now?" Harley mused as she glanced out the side window of the RV.

Pamela shook her head, "I even tried communicating with the greenery in the surrounding area, and still couldn't find anything. Is it something we should be worried about?" She replied while looking to Ethan for answers.

"I could not sense anything either. Either the cat is lying or whoever is out there is extremely skilled." Raven sighed.

Ethan strokes his chin, 'Could it be them? I don't know why would they come after me...could it be the same reason Klarion came after me? Hmm..'

"I think I know who they might be, but you won't like it." Ethan sighed as they listened in closely. "The only ones that could possibly escape detection so expertly are ninjas, but not just any kind...ones from the League of Assassins." He said solemnly.

"Them?" Pamela's eyes widen as she had heard of them during her time as a full-blown criminal. She's mellowed a bit the past few years, but in the past, she was fairly active in the criminal world.

The villainess constantly made moves on people of power to gain access to resources to further her plan of making the world a better place for plant life. However, she was caught by Batman and placed into Arkham Asylum for quite some time. The useless place lost so many criminals that it was a wonder if they were letting them go on purpose and she wondered who was running the show at the place.

She didn't quite remember much because of the state they put her in, it was a nightmare being deprived of barely any sunlight.

But inside that wretched place was where she met someone, Ra's Al Ghul. He'd always find a way to talk to the criminals that interested him, and Pamela was one of them. The man eventually escaped with help along with a few others.

"You think it's them?" She asked.

Ethan nodded as he frowned a bit, "I think they are after me...just like Klarion."

"They trying to take Honeybun away from me?! I'll kill them!" Harley seethed, gritting her teeth as she grabbed her bat. Although the weapon was practically falling apart.

'Perhaps I should think about getting a upgrade? Ol' reliable isn't going to last much longer...I'll at least break it on top of a few heads!' She thought.

"So these people are highly dangerous? " Raven said.

"Extremely."

"I'll crush them if they try to harm master." Myra declared as her face turned serious. It wasn't completely rare, but usually, she was always happy. However, just like the others, Ethan happened to be her reverse scale.

Myra's creation was an accident, an accident that would leap into fire for him without a second thought. He never interacted with her a lot, but he remembered he was crying at the thought of losing her.

Ethan's harem is already quite big, and yes he'll finally admit that he has one. Myra's no longer just made out of his essence and Pamela's connection to the Green.

He had realized that fact after Tydris explained to him how he reached the 2nd stage. Plants do have energy, but it wouldn't have given him such a boost without it being special and his guess was her being connected to the Green.

The villainess was probably unaware of that fact just as Harley was unaware of her connection to the Red.

Tydris explained to him that the brands don't cause changes like what she is experiencing and they only allow one to use dragon essence to some extent, leaving Ethan with questions as to how she is changing.

'..I really hope that this isn't the world that is overtaken by zombies...if that's the case, then I'll need to crush it before it could gain any strength... And for that, I need to get so much stronger...' He frowned as he stared blankly at Myra whose face started to heat up after being stared at for so long.

"M-master?..."

Ethan had to accept that the woman had a special place in his heart now and that feeling only grew stronger after the kiss they shared.

'Now is not the time to think about relationships though...the League of Assassins are probably waiting to attack us during the night. I'm bulletproof proof so I must be impervious to blades as well...However, the others are not...I'll fight on my own.'

"I'll-"

"Hell no. We aren't staying behind!" Harley growled.

"I haven't even said anything." Ethan was dumbfounded.

"It's written all over your face," Raven said.

Pamela shook her head and sighed, "You're not good at hiding your emotions. In fact, I suppose that's a good thing. You won't be able to lie to us."

("You really aren't.") Tydris agreed.

The redhead then cupped his face, caressing it as she looked into his eyes. "We're all big girls. We aren't just your lovers, we are a team. "

"If they got a problem with you then they got a problem with us." Harley scowled. "I dare anyone to try messing with you."

Raven agreed with what they said, she never thought she would be in this type of relationship, but regardless of how she will stand by Ethan's side to the bitter end.

Perhaps their situation won't be as bad as they are making it, but it won't change her thoughts.

"Alright fine...just leave the front to me. Attack only when you see an opportunity... They probably will wait until nightfall to make their move...I have a plan for that..."

Several hours after night came, there was movement in the forest which alerted Teekl who was silently hiding in a tree nearby.

("They are coming.") Teekl said just as Ethan stepped out of RV. Almost immediately he could hear the soft steps of what sounded like at least over ten people.

However, that number was tripled as the entire area was surrounded by people dressed in light black clothing and armed with weapons.

Several were on the ground and the rest were in the trees with their trained eyes on their target, watching every move he made as several red dots started to appear on his body.

'Snipers...'

Seeing them pretty much told Ethan that he was right about his assumption, but if they are as smart as they think they are, then why send normal humans against him?

Soon after they arrived, a woman with a singular katana strapped to her back walked out in front.

Her face was hidden by a black metal mask with red visor, but he could tell right away who the woman was because of her outfit. She has other outfits, but no one else in the League of Shadows has been none to wear the crimson red top and black pants with long black. trenchcoat.

Every step she made was quiet, and one could tell she was confident from the way she carried herself.

Who wouldn't be if you were a top assassin, but even before then she was a cut above the rest, someone that was born talented.

"What do you want...Lady Shiva?" Ethan growled.

"Oh, I'm known?" The woman said sounding not the least bit surprised.

She then removed the mask, revealing her stunningly beautiful face, "Why don't you come quietly then? We won't harm the women if that's the case."

"Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. I have things I need to do and you're interrupting."

"Oh? My apologies. Did I interrupt you have you having a good time with multiple women? I heard Harley and Poison Ivy being with a man, but now there are two others? You're the worst kind of man." She smirked.

"At least I don't abandon my own flesh and blood, Sandra." Ethan shot back.

Almost immediately her smile fell and her eyes zeroed in on Ethan as she grabbed the hilt of her sword.

"It seems like you'll have to come with us missing a few limbs." Sandra scowled as she tossed the mask to the ground. As soon as she drew her sword, Ethan felt something off about it.

("It's made out of dragon claw...And not just any claw...you bastards dared to use her...I can tell from the way it shines in the moonlight...Avita...") Each word the dragon spoke he started to sound angrier and angrier.

("Under no circumstances...do not let that blade touch you. It shouldn't be able to kill you, but that claw belonged to a special type of dragon who was known for eating poisonous objects and making the poison their own. At your state it won't kill you...but you'll be wanting it to...") Tydris said.

What was meant to be a normal brawl turned to something far dangerous after the dragon's warning.
