Family problems

Joohan parents went back home from their vacation.

Joohan was with Haruna when his phone started to ring.

Joohan: I need to answer the phone. He saw a few messages and told Haruna he need to go.

Joohan: It looks like my parents came back home. I'll call you later.

Haruna: Ok, see you soon.

Joohan kissed her and left.

When he arrived home, it was silence. He felt a little weird, because always when his parents came back from somewhere he would hear his mom voice, but now it was too much silence.

He went in his room, then went in the living room. His mom was sitting in the couch fixing a piece of paper.

Joohan: Mom, how are you?

She didn't said anything.

Joohan said louder: Mommm!

His mother: Hi, sweetie. You're home.

Joohan: Where is dad?

His mother: He is not at home.

Joohan: Why?

His mother: I need to talk with you. Please, sit down.

Joohan: Ok.

His mother: Me and your father are no longer together. I divorced him.

Joohan: What? Why?

His mother: Your father has a younger girlfriend. I realised that when we were on vacation.

Joohan: How is that possible?

His mother: I don't know. He hided very well. He had that relationship in parllel with me.

Joohan: When did you divorce?

His mother: Yesterday. I didn't want to tell you, but I think you have the right to know.

Joohan: Where is he now?

His mother: He went to his girlfriend.

Joohan: This paper is the divorce one?

His mother: Yes.

Joohan: Can I have a look?

His mother: Yes. So she have it to him.

Joohan took the document and read it.

Joohan: What is that?

His mother: Where?

Joohan: Here, this article.

His mother: It's about alimony.

Joohan: I don't want anything from him.

His mother: Are you sure? It's your right. You have this right until you'll be 25 years old.

Joohan: I don't want money or something else from him.

His mother: Ok. Then we have to go to the law court and you need to sign a document.

Joohan: Ok. Tomorrow it's Monday. We can go.

His mother: Ok. She took the document and went to her room and close the door.

Joohan remained there in silence. He couldn't believe that. His phone started to ring. It was Oh Min.

Joohan checked his phone later, Oh Min sent him a few messages.

Joohan didn't want to talk so he turned off his phone. It was late around 23:00 o'clock when Joohan went to check his mom's room. She was crying alone in her room, she didn't changed the clothes.

He knocked on the door and his mom tried to hide her face.

Joohan approached her bed and he dropped to his knees and took his mother's hands in his hands and kiss them.

Joohan mom didn't said anything.

Joohan: I'll be here for you if you need anything. You don't have to go through this alone. I'll always be here for you.

His mother hugged him.

Joohan: Mom, you're everything for me. Don't forget that.
