114. Destruction
"Okay, stop munching on candies and listen to me". Alex waved and made the candies in her hand come to his own.
Koriand'r pouted and ate the remaining candies in her mouth with a sulking face like Alex had taken something very precious from her.
"Do you want to go back to your planet or somewhere else?" Alex asked while looking straight into her eyes.
Koriand'r gulped down the candies in her mouth and looked at Alex.
"I don't want to go back. It's boring there, I want to go to a fun place". She shook her head and said with a beaming smile.
Apparently her mood was finally up and back to normal after the cake and the candies that she ate.
"That's easy to solve. I can take you to my planet for sight seeing and you can stay for a while. I will inform Komand'r about it". Alex nodded his head and agreed to her words.
"Okay". Koriand'r nodded happily and looked expectantly at him.
"Not so fast, have to tell you something else". Alex waved his hand and denied her expectations. Mercilessly crushing them to dust.
"The ruler of this ship has a powerful cannon that I want to obliterate to dust in style before we go off on our own". Alex said and projected a massive cannon hologram in front of him.
"Yeah that way he won't be able to hurt other people". Koriand'r said with a resolute face while looking at the cannon's hologram.
"That settles it then". Alex said and stood up from his place before going out of the room.
He literally phased out of the wall like it wasn't even there.
After going out, he turned himself invisible and started to make his way towards the cannon's location.
The security along the way was getting tighter and tighter. There were even pressure sensors around the hallways that could tell the different pressure in the air.
Making sure that no invisible person could pass through here like it was nothing.
But Alex had his expertise and effortlessly evaded the sensors and got into the Cannon room.
He saw the futuristic cannon in all its glory. It was currently being charged.
"Poor Draaga, he just lost a match but he lost more than he can imagine". A scientist said mockingly with a face like he was having pleasure in the guy's misery.
"Yeah, his home world that he was trying to protect will be obliterated for His Majesty's entertainment". Another one nodded and agreed with a smile like it was nothing big.
Alex looked at this and felt sick in his stomach when he sae that they were taking the destruction of an entire planet like a game.
'I know that I can't stop everything and I certainly can't stop like hundreds of planets from getting destroyed everyday but at least I can do what is in front of me'. Alex thought while clenching his fists and anger burning in his eyes.
He saw that every guard and scientist had a plain face like it was no big deal to them.
Alex saw through the expression of every single person in the room to ascertain their fate before he took action.
He slowly started to take out the people in the room one by one.
First he killed the guards in a subtle way and left illusions in their stead to keep it masked.
He took out all the guards and half of the scientists before he made himself appear in front of the remaining five scientists in the room.
"Yo". He greeted them with a smile that took the colours out of their faces.
"Guards!" The scientists yelled and looked around but only saw a barren room with corpses everywhere.
"Shall we talk about some things?" Alex smiled and walked over to them.
He bound on the chairs and looked at them with his aura radiating out of him.
This made them more and more fearful of him. They were shivering in their seats and their teeth were clattering.
"Now, get ready to see the fireworks. I do need some live audience for my performance right?" Alex smiled and snapped his fingers.
His projection was displayed in front of every single person on the ship automatically.
"Citizens of this god forsaken place. I don't really give a shit about you cursed madmen but I do want to enjoy some fireworks here". Alex said with a disgusted at first but then changed it to pleasant smile.
"Kinda in the mood ya know. So what better way to destroy this big boy and make a wonderful firework out of it?" He continued while patting the big cannon with his hand.
"You mongrel!" Mongul's shout radiated in the whole ship and he was literally bursting through the doors and walls to get to Alex.
"Hold your horses. Here we goooooo!" Alex said in a sing song voice and materialised a Mallet like Hammer.
It was a hammer that people would use in a whack a mole. Just that this hammer was used for whacking a futuristic cannon.
Alex used all his strength and smashed down. The Hammer smashed on the cannon while it kept getting bigger and bigger.
It was big enough to cover the whole cannon in one go.
He smashed it down and the whole cannon was flattened like a steel plate.
The internal wires and other parts of the cannon were completely broken and flattened.
Alex didn't stop there and started playing Whack-a-mole with relish.
"Where do we smash next?" He looked around comically and saw all the control panels nearby.
"Ah, here we go". He lifted the hammer and started to smash the control panels in the room fervently.
He smashed and smashed without stop. Only stopped when everything in the room was flattened and only debris were left.
"Now, this is not enough. Hmm, I know". Alex took a thinking pose and suddenly clicked his fingers with a light bulb glowing near his head like he just thought of something.
"Hole! In! One!" Alex shouted each word individually and smashed a Cricket Bat at Mongul as soon as he stepped into the room.
