103. Back Home

Alex got back to the others but not before warning Batman to hide his Brother elsewhere and making up some excuse about his sudden appearance.

"Alright guys, we should ho back as well". Alex said and looked at others standing in front of the base.

"Yeah, we can't stay here for too long". Everyone agreed and nodded their heads.

"How much time has passed on Earth since our disappearance?" Alex asked and looked towards Superman.

"You guys have been gone for a year". He said with a smile.

"That long huh". Alex sighed and didn't say anything further.

Everyone from the Alternate Reality or Earth one for that matter came to bid farewell to them except the ones in Jail.

"Alright, no need to be so soapy. We can always come to visit". Alex waved away the others when they came over to him for a hug.

He wasn't having any of this soapy thing from them. He had enough emotional moments.

"Mr J, stay with me". A very discordant voice cut through their talks and spread in the surrounding.

"Harley, I have to go back to my fun". Joker laughed crazily and kicked her away before striding over to the returning home team.

"Mr J". Harley cried out loud with comical tears coming out of her eyes.

"Okay, let's go". Alex waved his hand and all of them disappeared from their place.

They were again thrusted into the Wormhole going back to reality.

Very soon, all of them landed in the Watchtower through the tunnel and saw the three of Martian Manhunter, Black Canary and Hawkgirl sitting in the hall.

"You finally brought them back". Hawkgirl said with a big sigh and smiled.

"Yeah, good to have you guys back". John(Martian Manhunter) said and smiled as well.

"Hey, Can we finish our match?" Black Canary said while looking at Barbara.

She was more interested in her match against her than their return. Since she knew they were safe then there was no need for all the soapy things.

"We will do it tomorrow. I just returned from the Future". Barbara also looked back at her with equal fighting spirit and said.

Black Canary nodded her head and didn't take the matter any further.

"Oh, you guys having some competition?" Alex asked while looking at the both of them.

"Yeah, we are at an equal amount Wins and Losses at the moment". Barbara nodded her head and explained.

"Why don't the both of you try and come at me?" Alex smiled leisurely and said.

"Hmph, don't be cheeky". Black Canary snorted and immediately attacked him.

Barbara shook her head because she already knew what would happen.

And just as she predicted. The next second, Black Canary was seen flying through the hall and hitting the wall of the room.

"Can't you keep your hands a little?" Barbara said with a sigh and went to help Black Canary up.

Black Canary stopped her and slowly got up on her own.

"Training should be done full force". Alex didn't relent and retorted back.

Everyone was just looking at their antics for a while and decided to ignore them.

"Again". Black Canary stood up and again lunged at Alex.

Alex avoided her charge threw her straight at the wall by the head.

Black Canary was launched like a Canon Ball and hit the wall with her head.

"Enough". Diana said and stopped their fight.

"You guys will never end this if no one stops you". Diana said angrily while looking at the two of them.

"She wanted to train". Alex shrugged his shoulders and pointed at her.

"I'm not finished yet". Black Canary said while looking at him. She didn't even look at Diana's angry face.

"You can come at me anytime". Alex said with a smile and walked over to the six girls sitting around at the side.

Diana had also went back to talk with the girls after sighing.

"I think we should go back home. Mom must be worried about us". Alex said and looked at all of them while standing.

"Yeah". Hancock nodded her head and prepared to go with him.

"That includes you guys too". Alex said and motioned the others as well.

"B-but". Diana, Mera and Zatanna wanted to protest but it didn't work.

Alex didn't even listen to them and snapped his fingers. All of them were gone from the Watchtower and went back to their house.

Bruce was also included in the list. He was talking about something important but he couldn't finish what he was saying.

He just resigned himself to his fate and sighed when he saw where he was.

Martha and Thomas were sitting in the middle of the hall.

Martha was looking haggard with Thomas accompanying her.

Her eyes had deep eye bags and she looked like she was suffering from depression.

Just then all of them came to the hall and she looked up at the sudden appearance of other people.

"Alex, Bruce, Girls". Martha called softly and stood up with a shaky body. She looked weak and helpless.

"Mom!" Bruce and Alex hurriedly called out and rushed to support her.

They hugged her together and supported her back to the couch.

"Your Mom has been all this time since you disappeared. She has been blaming herself and look what she did to herself". Thomas said in a tone like he was reprimanding Martha.

He was also distressed for his wife when she wouldn't rest or sleep properly. She even restricted the consumption of her food.

She was just so worried that she couldn't be asked to eat anything.

Pamela and Selena also came regularly and stopped going and doing their villain things to look after her but it didn't help much.

"Alex". Pamela and Selena came from the side with their heads down like they did something wrong.

"Okay guys sit down first". Alex said to everyone and sat down on a couch.

Everyone took their seats and three girls were a bit restless while the rest were taking care of Martha and talking with her.
