Godly duty

After the most recent events , I went back to training non-stop. I've had to expand my temple as more and more nymphs began to come inside for protection. I've allowed them to as long as they prayed to me.

Apollo visits often, and Arty does as well. Arty acts all non concerned, but she always leaves annoyed after my teasing. It's adorable.

She's made friends with a giant named Orion. He also follows the hunt, and they have been getting close. Much to apollos chargin. But I won't interfere as it's her life.

I've been giving my blessings of protections to strong warriors in Greece now. As they begin to suffer from infections, I now prevent them.

The other gods are running around doing whatever. There have been mentions of making a safe haven for demigods that was laughed off by my other olympians. I was the only one who voted in favor of that, but I guess you can't win everything.

They only rejected it since it wasn't their children getting bodied by monsters. Father's demigods all came out powerful with good backing. Poseidons demigods never left water. The others actively bless their small number of mortal children with great strength.

I'm sure when the heart of the west moves, things will change. Also, Hercules. I've learned his actual name. He has completed his task for immortality. I'm currently being contacted by Iris to head to Olympus.

Arriving in teleportation. I ignore the glares Ares gives me. That may be an issue later as gods are spiteful. And since he can't hurt me, anyone I may take a liking to later will be his target.

Something to think about later. I walk up to my throne slowly. Hercules is kneeled in front of all the other olympians as my father looks to me.

"You are late, my son." He says as I nod and let out some bullshit excuse. I've come to learn that I'm Zues' favorite child by far. I'm his strongest kid, and I look like him. It's only natural that he favors me.

Father nods at my excuse as my siblings glare at me. If they showed up late and made such a sorry excuse, they would get yelled at. Me? I get off Scott free.

I personally enjoy my favorite child role. Sitting down in my throne, Father explains how we will make Hercules immortal. Combining some of our divine essence, it will give him eternal life.

Of course, everyone, including me, doesn't like this as we are essentially giving a tiny piece of ourselves, but we go with it all the same. Rubbing my hands together, I shoot out 2% of my essence that forms a ball of shining blue energy in the air above Hercules.

The other gods follow suit. Shooting their essence into the ball as it changes to a gold color once everyone is done. Father then moves the ball downcast as it slowly seeps into a yelling Hercules.

After a small light show, Hercules comes out with bronze skin and slightly more pronounced muscles. He's now a minor god of strength. Not anything worthwhile, actually.

Once that is over, everyone but Father and Hercules leave as I wave to Arty and Apollo before teleporting back to my temple on the northern part of Olympus.

I'm currently observing my followers. They pray to me for protection in some upcoming mortal war. A hundred in total. I've been alive for a month now.

Aphrodite gave birth to Eros. My son. God of carnal desire and whatnot. He visited me a day after his birth. I see why gods don't have to worry about paternity.

The moment we locked eyes, I knew he was my son. We share the same godly essence. So it was an immediate bond formed the moment we met.

He seems pretty mischievous. Father already fears him as he uses arrows that make people fall in love. Pretty funny, he made Ares, who's now messing around with Aprhodite, fall in love with a rock for a week.

Now, on funnier matters. While getting a drink with Apollo on Olympus, a big ruckus happened as minor gods ran to a remote location on Olympus.

Me and Apollo follow after, curious as to what's happening. Imagine my shock when I see hephaestus holding Aphrodite and Ares in a net. Both butt naked.

Laughing as every minor god ogles the two olympians me and Apollo crack up. Hephaestus seems to be enjoying their public shaming as he keeps them in the net for 5 hours before Father commanded him to release the two.

Looks like Ares took my advice and went for the sloppy seconds. Good on him. Leaving the area, I head to visit the minor goddess of magic.

Teleporting to her domain. I ignore the magical wards that ring in alarm. Walking forward hands in pockets, I laugh at the servants that stare at me in pure fear.

I don't like being feared, but since I've become a god 1 month and a few weeks ago, I've come to accept it as natrual. I'm a being above their comprehension as an olympian, so they naturally fear me.

The reason I'm visiting hecate is simple. She's going to teach me in magic. I want to be good at stuff outside of my divinity, and this is one of the things I can improve on.

Every god has an innate knowledge of how to use magic, but no God can match hecate in magic. She's borderline, a major goddess. Pretty strong for someone 'minor' as she definitely can give Ares a hard fight.

It doesn't take her long to appear before me. Flowing black hair and deep purple eyes meet my shining blue as I grin.

"Yo! Satoru here! God of perception protection and gravity -" she raises her hand as I stop my purposely annoying introduction.

"What does an olympian want with myself? I haven't done anything to offend you, have I?" Hecate cuts to the chase as I cross my arms.

"Nah, I heard you're the best at magic in the pantheon, so I came to learn." I explain purposely using my godly charm as I compliment her.

Surprisingly, she can resist my beyond handsome looks as she remains unflinching. Her face is stoic as she sighs.

"Fine, I will teach you magic. Only if you can give me something equal in return." She then smiles as I Humm. What could that be.

"What would you want? Minor control over gravity? Increased perception?" I ask as she seems to contemplate a bit.

"We will decide once you're adequate with magic. Just swear on the river of Styx, you will do your favor once I'm finished teaching you." She explains as I nod.

"I swear upon the river of Styx to uphold my favor to the best of my power after I learn magic," I say as thunder crackles in the background. I feel a bind on my soul that I can break easily.

No wonder swearing on the river of Styx isn't anything much for major gods. It can't really punish beings stronger than styx herself. It's just the policy of swearing on the river that makes people feel slightly reassured.

"Well, we can start now or later it's all up to you." Hecate explains as I wave her off. Walking away.

"I'll be back later. Got to stop some of my followers from sacrificing a child to me." I explain as I teleport. Taking the form of a pure white eagle. I land on a perch in a temple.

Some of my more devoted followers straight up kidnapped a newborn from some street whore and are planning on sacrificing it to me by tossing it off a mountain.

As they begin to pray to me the lead man begins to walk towards the edge of the mountain. Wasting no time he hurts the wailing baby as I soar and catch it softly with my talons.

Flying back to the top of the mountain I make my eyes glow a radiant blue. As I enlarge myself to a white eagle the size of a school bus.

"Mortals. Sacrificing a child will not please me. Don't ever do such heinous act again or I will result to drastic matters. Animals will suffice." I make my voice shake with holy power as the surroundings begin to quake under my voices might.

The people, my followers castrated themselves as the bow down. They beg for my forgiveness as I sigh. Dropping the baby softly I fly off.

Since that day people believe a white eagle to be my symbol. Like how athena has a liking to owls. What ticks me off is that normal people have some power over gods.

I've got some sort of split personality disorder due to the Roman's worshiping me as Gojo. So when I fall 'asleep' I take the form as Gojo and do my roman duties. This split personality is dormant but irritating.

To the Roman's I'm married to Athena. Minerva. And we have like 3 kids. It's very awkward as we don't interact often in genral yet we have godly children from our Roman side running around.

She's still a virgin. Our children were formed from a combination of our essence. I don't even know their names, just that they exist.

That's the annoying part. Gojo is a arrogant dick according to the Roman's. It's very annoying as to the Greeks I'm a 'Good' god. So for my reputation to be so shitty to the Roman's is irritating.

I've been making great progress with magic under the help of hecate. We've also gotten closer as I see her as a great friend, and she's fun to talk with.

We also flirt a lot, but it's baseless. I can't help but be a womanizer (cannon in jjk btw), so I flirt with almost every female goddess and nymph I interact with.

We've gotten physical, but it means literally nothing. As I'm more focused on strength. I fear that she may be falling for my godly charms, though, as she's acting sweet to me.

I don't want to break her heart by showing I'm not interested in love, and even if I were, I wouldn't be able to commit to one relationship.

Being handsome is so difficult.
