"Red." I mutter. Blowing away Hachiman. Or at least a clone of him. Like me, he can manipulate matter and make clones.
Tilting my head to the left, I avoid a stab to my neck by a hairs width. Moving into Hachimans guard, I land three jabs to his armors weak spots before kicking him away in a blur.
Not giving a moments rest, I close the distance. Maneuvering through waves apon waves of visible wind cyclones, I meet the eye of the storm hachiman in a clash of divinity.
When two gods fight, they fight on a physical and metaphysical sense. The physical fight is more notable, but their divinities also clash in the fight. If relative or equal, they balance each other out.
Catching a stab to my ribs, I grunt before opening my palm in front of Hachimans covered face. Blowing his head back with blue as I spot ichor fly out his helmet.
His winds begin to get heavier as I run around in an unpredictable pattern. Flipping backward, I float above the small tornadoes.
Chants not foreign to me in the slightest flow from my mouth as I put my hands into a flicking position.
"Phase." I duck under a sword swing. Hachiman closes the distance in a breath as I float backward.
"Twilight." I move in a zizag pattern. My form blurred as I avoided wind slashes. Some grazing me, but I remain concentrated.
"Eyes of wisdom." I make a decoy clone. That meets hachiman head on as I drop my flight falling towards the ground as I continue.
"Between front and back." My hands take on a noticeable glow of purple as I feel my eyes scan the surroundings for any ambush by hachiman. I feel my clone get skewered as he blurs towards me again.
"Polarised light." I feel the energy reach its peak as hachiman is in my face, sword poised to decapitate me. I moved back just enough to give me enough time for the last chance.
[Imaginary technique: hollow purple] (A/N purple is the combination of repelling and attracting forces. Giving it an atomizing effect.)
At that, the surroundings explode in a blinding light of purple. My barrier holding strong and protecting my nephew.
The entire forest explodes in a radiant gleam of purple. I feel myself get blown back by the purple. That wasn't my strongest at all. But it was able to wipe out an entire forest.
Floating up, I look at the destruction I caused. Hachimans son is nowhere to be seen. Likely teleported away.
The surroundings once filled with vegetation are now nothing but dirt and debris. I don't like causing too much destruction, but I will if need be.
My eyes find hachiman immediately. The war god is pretty unhamred after taking the brunt of my purple. His armor went, showing a muscled upper body of a long black haired Japanese man.
He looks a bit scuffed. His arm regenerated rapidly as ichor spilled from the wound in his sword hand. He managed to block purple.
"Hardcore..." I shake my head. Floating down in front of the now fully healed hachiman.
"Are we done here? Or are you still going to try and kill my nephew?" I ask. Hachiman looks at me with respect.
"You are a worthy opponent. Very well. Your nephew shall live. But if I ever get the chance, he will be tormented for his transgressions." In a flash of golden light, Hachiman dissappears as i shake my head. The guy is like the samurai. Honorable.
Turning back to my nephew, I feel my face blank. I don't even know his name. I've been referring to him as nephew this whole time.
"Yo! What's your name?" I ask shamelessly. My awed nephew is looking at me in admiration. His eyes twinkle like Apollos when he finds something awesome.
"My name is Agnis..." he frowns as I ruffle his hair. I've decided. Agnis will be my first student!
"Agnis. If you weren't so weak, dear old uncle wouldn't have had to save you today. From now on, you will be my pupil!" I grab the back of my nephews clothing teleporting to my temple.
Immediately upon my arrival, I was contacted by my father. Irises rainbow showing my fathers face as I chuckle.
"Report satoru." He says seriously. Conflicts with the shinto pantheon have reached an all-time high. And now, with two higher ranking gods getting into a fight over a few demigods, dad's gonna have to speak with Izanagi and co.
I give him the rundown of what happened. Emphasizing that Hachiman interfered first. Breaking an ancient law. And I only stepped in to avoid Agnis from dying.
"I see. So he attacked first, huh? This may be favorable. I'm going to consult Athena on if we can get some compensation from those shinto gods." With that, the conversation ends as Dad's visage disappears. I thank Iris. And attempt to flirt, but she ignores me.
No matter, she won't be able to resist me much longer. My godly charms are unmatched.
Turning to Agnis, I grin at my still gaping nephew. This is his first time outside of the mortal world. Now he's in a major gods temple on Olympus.
He looks at the passing by nymphs with hunger in his eyes, but I slap the back of his head. That's something I won't allow. No one touches my maid nymphs.
"Keep your eyes off them. Arty may visit one of these days, and if she sees you ogling a maiden. Nephew or not, she will turn you into a bug." I explain as Agnis gulps.
"A-arty? Are you referring to the virgin goddess of hunt? That casually?" He asks fearfully as I laugh.
"Yea. But you shouldn't. She barely tolerates me and Apollo using that name. I can just imagine her reaction if you do." I drag Agnis to a training room. When I'm done with him, he will be the strongest hero Alive.
****
During the first weak of training, Agnis showed some promise. Great with a bow, as are all children of my brother, but he lacks all types of physical strength.
He could probably lift about 800 pounds. But even mortal bodybuilders can do that, so it isn't impressive. After estimating his strength I mocked him a bit.
That got him angry. All demigods have some sort of undeserved pride in themselves. So natrually he tried harder. But his deadline is only 850.
After that he was downcast but I explained that while demigods are weak. They can grow to be minor gods with proper training. Hercules did it.
At the mention of Hercules Agnis fanned out. Asking if he's still alive and what not. I explained the Hercules is off marrying some minor goddess.
Agnis reminds me of a certain pink haired boy from my past. I just can't seem to remember his name. It may be something to look into later.
