Walked With Pride

Anne Neville, The Kingmakers Daughter:

Isabel went to stand next to George, which is what a loyal wife should do. Unlike Elizabeth and Edward, George and Isabel had George's mother on their side. Which is more than can be said for Edward and Elizabeth, of course.

My father, made his way across to Queen Elizabeth. I knew this was not gonna turn out good. The Queen was already upset, so father would only make her more upset.

Elizabeth Woodville, The Queen Of England:

As I saw Warwick walking Towards me I started to Panic. He was really looking for war, coming here to talk to me. I glance at my mother showing her something is wrong, and she turns around and sees Warwick, of course, walking towards us. Wonder what he's going to do, say 'im sorry for your loss' well his sorry I will tell you is not good enough. It will never be good enough, he murdered them, he should be celebrating should he not?

"I can't." My mother whispered before she walked away. The man didn't even hang in shame. He walked with pride, he knew what he did, but he did not care. It was just ugly to even stare at him, I did not want to face my father and brothers killer. But he should know, that he will not knock me down so easily, he is only sabotaging himself.

I heard my boys coming towards me, as if to protect me. Warwick came up to me and did a little Courtesy, "Your Grace."

But before I had to respond My son, Thomas answered for me. "You shouldn't even be here." I had to stop him, before he got a target on his back. "Thomas!" And with that he backed away, but he stayed by my side.

"Ah, such a passion." Warwick spoke, as if he hadn't killed my father and brother. As if he was the most innocent person in the world, he was far from that.

"I am only glad that he and his brother were not with my father to be butchered by your axe." I openly laid my claim, because he absolutely knew of what I was talking about. And he absolutely knew why I hated him, and his family.

"So am I! That would have been too awful for you." Oh my Lord. So he dare say that in front of me. Now that he has Edward behind him he thinks he is untouchable. He may hate me, but that is no reason to kill my brother and father. And there I was right, he does feel shame, he feels proud of what he did. That he was able to touch my family members, and take 2 away from me.

"I know that you do not like me. And that you plot against the King. And while he may forgive you, I promise I never will. Never." I made a promise, and I never fail my promises. He better pray, for my curse will kill him.

Then his aunt had come, and saved the day. Funny. "Lord Warwick". She lay out her hand, for him to take. "My aunt, a Duchess Cecily." He gave her a courtesy, and he had a big smile on his face.

"Seasons Greetings. Another one of us returns to court!" He is hinting on me, because he assumes I made her leave. Well I did, because I hate her. This is my Kingdom, it follows my rules. They'll just have to accept that.

"My dear son George invited me. To share his joy that he is soon to have an heir." Duchess Cecily also had a big smile planted on her face. She only loves George, and it is very obvious. And she is also rubbing in my face, because she knows I do not have an heir. She also gave me a courtesy.

"It seems the force that had me exiled from the court has lost its power." I was tired of being humiliated so I waved away from them. They did not deserve my attention.

"And Edward is a man again." This woman loves to bash her own children, a woman like that should not even be called a mother.

"He has always been a man. But it seems that, that is not enough to win the loyalty of those who are supposed to love him." Then I was done talking. And I walked away from the venom. Because although I am mad at my husband, I still love him. And I will always love him.
