A Pawn of the Gods

"Hello everyone. I'm Chas!" The boy excitedly introduced himself to everyone. "If you have any problems, you can ask me!"

With that, all of the students started to focus on their work. They read the paper on their desk and began working on their relics.

Cadell and Odis were also the same. They looked at the paper on their table and started to read it's contents.

"Empty Night Crystals..." Cadell looked at the steps to make the relic. "Dip the Monoinite Crystals in a solution made from crushing Fyum plant and Chrumdove plant. After 15 seconds, take the crystal out and inject it with Night Essence."

"Seems simple enough.." Cadell started to follow the exact steps written in the paper. On his side, Odis had already started the process. After dipping the crystal in the solution, he took it out and started to inject essence into it through the Essence Imbuing Orb.

But after 10 seconds of injecting essence, the crystal on Odis's desk exploded.
