Also do join me on discord https://discord.gg/hXPzSGQHQF to give your opinions. Also will try my best to reply to all comments but the system here is pretty lousy....for example, paragraph comment, I have no idea which para it is and has to scroll manually to find it. Also replies to my reply does not show up as a prompt I think. If someone has a shortcut to solve this do let me know! note: I had the help of a great editor Darin in the earlier chapters up to chapter 10.

Money is important. Reincarnate or not.

Chapter 2 Money is essential. Reincarnated or not.

Feng met Fatty Zai at Macs. Fatty Zai is exactly what his name implies: he's fat. His real name is Yuan Shi Kai, but no one addresses him as such. His aliases Ah Fat, Fatty Zai, and simply Fat are frequently used.

"Lin Feng! What is the purpose of summoning me so urgently?" Fat inquired as he devoured the fries in front of him.

"Fatty, you're a jerk! You haven't addressed me by my full name in a long time! Relax... in any case, thanks, bro." Lin Feng said this with a genuine grin on his face.

"Thanks?" Fatty shook his head, perplexed.

"Yes, just thanks," Feng repeated as he remembered his previous life, where he had only Fatty Zai by his side.

"Anyway, in all seriousness....how much credit can you loan to me, Fatty?" Lin Feng inquired solemnly as he gazed at Fatty.

Fatty Zai stopped eating his fries in front of him and stared back at Lin Feng.

"Brother... What went wrong!? Just tell me the truth! You've known me since we were kids, and I don't have many credits on me, but I'll do my best to assist you! "Fatty Zai responded. He was well acquainted with Lin Feng. Even though his parents died when he was young, he never sought assistance from his friends or relatives.

His best friend asked for a loan for the first time today. Fatty Zai knew instinctively that this had to be serious because Lin Feng would never do such a thing..... Lin Feng would rather scourge and work himself to death than seek assistance from anyone.

Lin Feng hadn't even ordered a drink at Mac. In fact, they had met here several times in the previous few years, but Lin Feng had never bought a drink just to save up a little credit.

To him, drinking cola is a waste of credits because cola is just flavored water. He said he might as well just drink water since they are free from the water cooler..

Lin Feng had to make up an excuse because he didn't know how to respond to Fatty.

He blurted out, "My girlfriend is pregnant," after a brief moment of thought.

"..."

"..."

"Well, bro, if that's the case, I still have 4000 credits in my account, and I think I can borrow another 50,000 or so from my parents," Fatty responded despite the fact that he didn't believe Lin Feng's excuse for a second.

"... Many thanks, Fat." Lin Feng had no idea how to respond to his friend because he was well aware of how ridiculous the excuse was.

Fatty's family isn't the wealthiest in town, but they don't lack credits either. The 50,000 credit is most likely their savings for the Fatty's University Fee. Lin Feng is relieved to have a friend like Fatty in histhis life and realizes that he owns Fatty quite a bit, whether in his previous or current life.

His friend may spend most of his time joking around or fantasizing about girls, but he knows he can count on no one else when it comes to brotherhood.

------------------------------

After briefly catching up with Fatty Zai, Lin Feng left the cafe and went to a nearby fitness center. The Fitness Center owned the entire 7-story building in front of his eyes.

While a 7-story building would not be considered tall in an urban setting, the Black Eagle Fitness Centre's location is noteworthy. The site has been designated as a conservation area and consists primarily of two-story shophouses.

Because of its large plot of land that could easily house six shophouses and its height, the Black Eagle Training Centre appeared to be a prominent landmark in the area.

Because of its size and structure, the building appears more like a clubhouse than a fitness center.

There were two entrances, both surrounded by traditional Chinese bamboo fencing. The larger entrance was designed for vehicles, while the smaller entrance was designed for pedestrians. Feng passed through the smaller gate and crossed a stone bridge over a rectangular koi pond below.

Perhaps calling it a pond is incorrect because it snakes around the garden by the building's side, creating a mini garden where bridges occasionally intersect the river pond.

To his left is a stone road that separates from the tarmac outside, clearly distinguishing it from the street.

From a distance, one could see the Black Eagle Fitness Centre wording displayed prominently and their Motto: Advance and Overcome below.

Whether driving or walking, one would end up in front of the large porch, which could easily accommodate three cars at once. Driving forward, one could park and wait for the floor to sink underground, carrying the car to the underground parking garage.

This fitness center is well-known in the neighborhood because it is managed by a retired Regional Champion who previously qualified for the top three nationally. No one in the country had never heard the name of Bai Yun Fei.

Many people had joined the Fitness Centre in the hopes of becoming Bai Yun Fei's disciple. However, the opportunity to be one is limited and is only available to platinum members who have access to the private dojo.

The reception area and the gym, which had the country's best equipment, were located on the building's first floor.

The second level contains four Olympic-sized swimming pools as well as a large football field-sized pool in the center.

Level 3 is a public dojo where sparring is typical. Aside from the sparring area, they also have a private space to practice their swords and fists.

The first three levels are open to all fitness center members.

With gold membership, one can gain access to level 4, which contains training rooms. This training room includes features such as a gravity modifier and video training; however, the use of the room is charged in addition to the annual fee for the gold membership.

To advance, one would need a platinum membership reserved for Master Bai Yun Fei students or a significant guest, which is unusual given his status.

Feng knows from previous life experiences that the main office is on level 7. However, he is unsure of what is available on levels 5 and 6 at the moment.

Lin Feng could get a basic membership for 3000 credits per year with the credit he had on hand. He could use the gym, swimming pool, and public dojo up to level 3 for this.

Lin Feng entered the building and completed the registration at level one before collecting his gym clothing. He then spends 1,000 credits to buy a D rank nutrition drink.

A nutrition drink is an essential part of modern life because it contains all of the nutrients required to build one's body. This is because it provides the body with the nutrition it requires to push past its mental and physical boundaries.

Without it, even if a person lives to be 200 years old, their body will be unable to keep up, and they will spend the rest of their life in a state in which their mind and body are too old to be aware of their surroundings.

The following are the rankings of nutritional drinks: S, A, B, C, D, E, and F. The central government distributes F rank nutrition drinks to every citizen once a week. They are, however, insufficient to get by.

Nutritional drinks ranked A-E can be purchased with credits at various locations, but the price increases dramatically as the rank increases. S rank nutritional fluid, on the other hand, necessitates the purchase of more than just credits; S rank is only available if sufficient connection is available.

A Nutrition drink costs the following: S - 1,000,000 A - 500,000 B - 100,000 C - 10,000 D - 1,000 E -100 F - Government free weekly

The human body could only go so far with training. Nutrition is required to exceed what was previously thought to be the human body's limit. However, the price of these nutritional drinks is prohibitively expensive for most people. This is especially true for S rank drinks, which cost more than credits to purchase.

Again thanks to Darin for the editing to make readability of the chapter even better!
