41 Equipment updates

Minutes become hours. Time passes in a flash.

The 2 top naked man hammers away in the smithing room.

Argh!~ Hu Wei Grunts as he hammers down while tightening his biceps.

GRR, ~ Feng fights back as he holds the long pincer in his hand, he tightens his abs.

It has been almost 3 hours of in-game time which they could have spent levelling. However, here they are smithing, unlike the other players who are levelling in the fields.

Even so, their experience did increase. While not as fast as fighting on the field, at least it is not stagnant. This is because each successful armour or weapon smith does grant them exp.

A trickle of sweat drips down the neck of Feng, following his pectoral muscle; it flowed along the groove between his chest muscle before reaching his 6 pecs abs.

Holding a pair of boots as he inspects his latest finished product.

-Boots of Agility-

Boots

Rank: Silver

Equipment requirement: Lvl = 3-15, Stats = Strength 15

Def + 10, Agility + 5

Additional Skills (awarded for handcrafted equipment):

Skill 1: Reduces damage received by 3% (Passive)

Skill 2: Increase movement by 5%

'YES,' Feng rejoiced in his heart. The items he had crafted before were all warm-up for this. Handcrafting equipment may be tedious. However, the system would usually reward at a minimum of 1 passive skill ranging from 1-5%, which alone is not a lot, but if stack with 5 items or more, it would mean a 5-25% bonus!

If one manages to follow the crafting steps to 95% and above, there is a chance for double skills to be awarded.

The most important thing is he now has 2 items that give + agility, the armour from the chest earlier and now these boots. Add to that the increase in movement speed which is a skill exclusive to boots equipment.

Besides the boots he had crafted, he has a helmet and bracelet crafted.

Looking through on the improvement to his ability, Feng felt pleased as he looks towards Hu Wei, who was also done with his crafting.

"How did the crafting of your boots, Helmet and bracelet went?" Feng asked

"Good! I think." Hu Wei replied

"You think?? Share with me your status screen," Feng told Hu Wei, curious about what he meant.

"ok."

Looking at the screen of Hu Wei, Feng's jaw dropped open.

"Why are your skills and stats all so offensive-oriented?! What is with the def +10, Strength +70, attack +90, Agility +3...I know this includes the +20 strength and +50 attack from your epic equipment earlier...still..."

Attack provides just pure damage, but strength is a lot more useful despite giving much less damage. It affects the equipment one could equip and the ability to lift things, climb, deal heavy damage, incapacitate a monster etc.

Hu Wei is very offensive-oriented with his current equipment in more ways than just his base damage figure.

Haiz… it does looks like he should bring forward his plan even more. With this nuke weapon with him, farming level 4-6 monster is a waste. Feng just hopes Hu Wei can survive the attacks since his defence is on the lower side.

Leaving the smithing room, Feng brought Hu Wei to the public bath, which has a simple onsen within.

"We bathing?!" Hu Wei was surprised that this would be the next location.

"Don't you feel sticky and uncomfortable after all the sweat?" Feng asked back.

"Well...I do... but isn't this a game?" Hu Wei still could not understand Feng's intention.

"Yes it is a game, but remember that there is a stamina factor in the game. Be it if you feel hungry, thirsty or uncomfortable, it affects your maximum stamina. A lowered stamina would not only mean you can do less, it makes you feel sluggish and slows your response in a fight." Feng explained.

"hmm..." Hu Wei kind of got what Feng meant...but yet don't.

Seeing his face, Feng could only sigh as he explained in a way Hu Wei would grasp his meaning quickly.

"You come out for your matches after preparing in the waiting room, right? Listening to music, psyching yourself up, warming up. Doing whatever it means to be at your peak even way before, from your breakfast to your baths to feel comfortable." Feng explained again.

"Ah! So these factors are also included in the game? Nice!" Hu Wei thumped his hands as he understood Feng's explanation.

Feng, who had taken off all his clothes, first showered before entering the hot bath as he washes away his fatigue.

Hu Wei came in slightly later, and the sight of his large body being covered by a small white cloth did seem weird due to the size mismatch. As he climbed into the hot bath, Hu Wei lifted his legs, and the small towel gave way, giving Feng a sight of his groin area.

....

Feng lifts his thumb and index finger up as he rotates them* over and over again...

'hmm...small body, big dick...big body, small dick...' Feng thought.

'It does seem heaven is fair...one person cannot have everything.'

*for the benefit of those that do not get it. Form a V with your index and thumb (first 2 fingers of your hand). With the index point up and the thumb to the left, the index is longer (the body) and the thumb is short (the ahem). Now flip your hand by having your palm facing you (if you are using your right hand, the index should point to the left and the thumb upwards) and you now have a short thumb (body) and long index (the ahem).
