Day 1 in Gods Art

Feng arrives in an empty space that looks futuristic as with lines of blues forming cubes all over as if a world can be created here in 3D; s in front of him is a cute looking small fairy as it floats around in front of his face.

"Welcome adventurer to the world of Gods Art. I am Beanie the fairy and would assist you in the creation of your character."

"Give your character a name. Do note the name can never be changed."

"Feng," Lin Feng answered.

"Feng." the blue line distorts as it forms the words in front of Feng "Is that correct?"

Yes/No. The option appears as Feng reaches out his hand to the yes button.

"Would you like to view the tutorial?"

Yes / No

Feng chose Yes just in case there is any difference from his previous life. Upon selection, the fairy flew one circle around Feng before arriving back in front of him as if it is happy with his choice.

"The world of Gods Art is a virtual world. As such, control of movement would have no difference from the real world. To access the system control, just double-tap on your left wrist. Try it now~" the fairy chirped as if he had found a companion to play with.

Double-tapping his left wrist, Feng is satisfied that everything remains the same so far. The system control allows basic control such as character stats and equipment screen, pain sensitivity set at 25% by default, access to help chapters, a quit option, a forum tab and a contact form for the GM etc.

Following the instruction, Feng stats appeared:

Whirlwind - Hit all enemy in a 1-meter radius for a 20% dmg bonus. 15-sec cooldown. 20% bonus dmg max

Real-life skill ( not shown in-game. Included to make some clarity in the story and for easy reference).

Focal Strength - a real-life skill that can be used in-game. punch enemy with such precision and strength causing 100% damage bonus max. Heavy punch -In-game skill. Hit enemy with force. 2 sec cools down.

Shadow Sense: A mental image built-in 3D black and white that is achieved when one increases their sense refinement. Current MC: 0.5 meters vague image at the beginning of the middle stage.

Qing Gong - involves an overall improvement in muscle control that gives one faster reflex, better agility. Improves body sense. Current MC: available to have mastery of movement of any muscle on his body.

In Gods Art, the first-class advancement is on level 10. Before that, all the players are classless except for a few basic skills given by the system.

Once he closes the system control, the fairy continues, "Now follow me as we navigate this obstacle course."

Finishing its words, the room's lines start to change shape as an obstacle course appears in front of Feng. Once formed, the fairy flew away, stopping once its distance from Feng is approx 1.5m as it turns back, looking at Feng as it waits.

As Feng approaches it, it moves further as it guides him around the circuit. Jumping, dashing, dodging, crouching etc. As it finally comes to the end of the course, the fairy stops and observes Feng again.

"The movement in the game is currently synced at 85% to your thoughts, so it feels almost like you are moving your real body except for a slight lag." The fairy said proudly as if it is the one that created Gods Art."

"No modification to your look can be done. This is your storage space bag which is bind to you. Have fun!" The fairy said as it passes him a small waist bag. Taking the bag, Feng knew it was a 10 slot storage bag, the most basic available in the game.

In it was some simple survival items such as bread and water, basic recovery potion, each consuming 1 slot, each slot consisting of 10 stacks of each item.

'Good, so far everything has been the same', Feng thought as the blue world around him crumbles, a new world slowly builds up around him.

"Initialize first load", a voice boomed in the empty space.

The floor slowly turning brown, a field of brown dirt appears, the size of half a football field as he stands in the middle of it. The building starts to build itself from the ground up, made of straw, wattle and daub, cob and sometimes wood, much like European medieval buildings.

In front of Feng, a large gigantic wooden platform the size of 5 x 5 meter and almost 3 stories high appears.

The sky blue and warm, pleasant weather in the game a stark contrast to the snowy weather in real life. Slowly, as rings of light appear on the floor, more players start finishing their tutorial and logging in online.

A buzz slowly filled up the area.

"WooHoo! You tried the movement earlier in the tutorial?? It is almost as if i am moving my real body!"

"Hmm…..let's see…" one guy near Feng said as he began unbuckling his cloth pants, as it drops down to the grounds, screams can be heard as he exposes his willy to everyone.

"Tsk...small," some commented.

A shadow appears above the player that has streak himself.

Boom~

A soldier in armour appears in front of him in less than 10 seconds of him taking off his pants. With force, he knocked out the player before binding him up and throwing him into a large sack, leaving the players dumbstruck.

Hiaz...Feng shook his head as he witnesses the scene. In almost every beginner village, the same scene replayed itself.

The unlucky players would soon find themself being banned from the game for a week for indecent modesty and their post in the forums would discourage others from doing the same.

The tall wooden structure in front of Feng was actually a guard post. The shape of the beginner village is actually pretty simple.

The field that Feng is standing on is where players logging in would find themselves. There are a total of 4 such fields arranged in a diamond shape with the guard post in the centre. This serves as the centre of the town. As a dirt path links the 4 fields.

In between each field is another dirt path that extends all the way out on 4 sides much like an X, which serve as the main footpath to the 4 gates of the village. Commercial shops flank the side of the path while the residential area is usually behind the shops accessible by a side road.

The building near the 4 fields is where the main building for the village is located, such as banks, adventure guild, the village administrative office etc.

While the other players are trying out the game, Feng rushed towards the administrative office as planned. Outside the administrative office was a wooden notice board that contains information about the village.

On the board was a number 369. The same village he had started in previously. Noting the number he immediately logged off as planned.

Back in the room, he was the first that logged out. Taking down the helmet he waited had to wait for 5 minutes before Hu Wei took off his helmet. Following this, Yu Han, Xin Ru and Fatty came out in the mentioned order.

Finally all out they matched their village number. While they could communicate in-game after adding each other as friends, that is only for individual chat. Group chat isn't available in the game until a guild is formed as such they relied on the tried and trusted of logging off.

After matching the numbers, interestingly, Feng and Hu Wei are in the same village, while Xin Ru and Yu Han village numbers are nearby which meant it would be easy for them to meet up as it is possible to travel from one village to another but only by walking.

To cut short the distance Feng recommended them a location in the middle of both village for them to level up in. Still, they could probably only do so around level 5 but with their looks, he is pretty sure help will arrive without them asking.

Fatty is the only one who would have to level up alone till he reaches level 10.

For Feng, being in the same village as Hu Wei is a huge bonus. His plan had a major flaw and Hu Wei being there would fill the gap nicely. After all one has to pay the price to get OP.
