Since we are all finished with introductions, let's talk about your rankings….
Nio looked at a number of students who stood out confidently, some even smiling.
"The fitness Trial wasn't purely for fun, however, it seemed that some people might have thought that." He glanced to the back where Junya stood, before continuing.
"You see, GCU gives benefits based off your rankings, this comes in the form of weapons and discounted prices on special courses of resources. The ranking system is also a good benchmark to see how well people are developing.
So the trial was just a test which would reflect the ranking you are shown in school. While you may start out as this, the ranking is mostly based on GPA so the answer is yes. You were all graded and placed respectively.
I won't go through all that, your form teachers will go through that. However, I think it's important for you all to know who came first right? Because speed reigns supreme and should be praised in all its glory!- Uh er hem, I got carried away.
The following students are who you should strive to overtake in earnest. I would also like a point to be made, no matter, if someone is from an Apex family, shouldn't let you shy away from overtaking them.
Only by showing your power, will your true worth to Guram be noticed."
There were many sighs of relief at this mention, while others were still sceptical that mere words could overturn corruption.
"Will the following student please make their way to the stage? Starting from the 10th place. Arvid Einar, Emmanuel Fernandez, Jake Long, Tadashi Miyokashi, Czen Petrov, Ibrahim Salah, Marco Aiolos, Wrenlow Freyr, Draymond Bjelke, Avaline Bridgemont Asrid Bjelke"
Everyone started at the Apex Students as they all walked onto the stage. They were all vastly different characters from each other all carrying different weapons concealed on the back for waists."
Junya naturally judged them and compared them to himself based on looks alone. He wasn't sure if he could win a fight easily against any of them. He looked especially looked at the 3rd student.
His instinct was telling him that if they fought he would fight, and he would be cut down within a second. His name was Wrenlow Freyr, somewhere around Junya's age with fiery red eyes. His eyes scanned every person when suddenly both their eyes locked.
It was only for a second, yet Wrenlow smiled widely when he saw him as well.
Junya acted like he saw nothing and looked elsewhere awkwardly. 'Did he sense me looking at him or was it simply luck.'
He acted naturally while naturally looking at the person who would be considered first of the new students, Avaline Bridgemont Asrid Bjelke, Junya noted that siblings filled the first two spots.
Her eyes were Azure blue which was emphasized by her very pale complexion, which emphasized its colour. Her chest was flat, unnaturally flat, making it obvious she was clad with armour that created this effect. Her hair was done in a bun to the side neatly on her head.
Standing imposingly her face was serious, even scary, carrying an unnatural scowl all the time. It wasn't hard to tell she had a condescending attitude. Still, he couldn't see what weapons she carried, if she needed any.
"Remember their faces and dedicate yourself to beating one of them. That will be an assignment for all of you. I am looking forward to seeing all of you shine and overcome all adversaries that you face. Forge your own path using your blessing and ascend to the peak that is waiting each and every one of you…WELCOME! To Guram City University!"
Yeahh! Woo!
Everyone cheered at his final words. Not long after the gate opened allowing them inside. In a single file orderly fashion, each class started to leave as they were formed. It took less than 30 minutes until they reached their group.
"Alright, this will be the final class formed for division A. This will be Class A5" The person making the class was none other than Goateng Ju, who Junya had briefly met when Alice took him to 7 moons to practice making friends.
However, He didn't seem to recognize Junya and never cared how he spoke.
'Finally, the bottom of the barrel, this'll make it easier to stuff them all into one class. Principal Nio might say something if I don't give them someone capable…n The Apex students are stretched thin, only a few from the top 100 would even wish to go in this class. Still, that won't be enough to serve as a model for a class like this"
It was obvious that his class was at the bottom of the barrel. It would be unfair if everyone that was already strong were placed into a single class since that would be counterproductive.
"Shyla Medina, you're in this class".
"Dammit, I didn't even palace badly and I'm stuck with that looser class?" The girl was obviously not happy with her placement.
She was a dark-skinned woman with buzzcut hair. She had a slim frame, with her waist carrying two machetes behind her back. Despite her rough and rigid appearance she ill wore earing even though they didn't do much for her scowling expression.
Goateng Ju went back to forming the class calling over students. Classes were made up of 30 people each and now his class only had 26, yet it was hard to find anyone else to add since no one wished to be in a class 5.
Yet there were still rules to be followed that there needed to be capable students across each class. People that finished within the 500 - 1500 range were all places in classes between Set A and B so there was only the undesirable left.
These were usually bottom the weakest in most cases, so grouping them together was against the rules. They need to save some inspiring students to serve as rivals for classes like these.
"Who the hell can I put in this class?"
Goateng Ju was wracking his mind madly over what could be done when someone called out to him.
"Mister teacher, may I join this class!"
Goateng Ju turned his head and looked suprised when he saw Wrenlow Mu who slightly taller than him, brimming with a smile that could dull the sun. His bright yellow hair fell to his ear along with his hazel coloured eyes which formed a delightful expression.
"Wait what is it? Did I forget how to ask right? Hmm… What was that thing mom always used was it… Knees? Fees? Pees" Wrenlow started thinking hard at the word his mother taught him.
"Please?" Someone suggested after it became really awkward and sad.
"Aha! Pleas- wait no… you guys are trying to trick me so I sound stupid. Bahahaha, no way! I remember." Wrenlow laughed loudly which spread across the venue.
"My bad sir, Peas, may I join this class!" Wrenlow smiled thinking he outsmarted everyone else, yet their faces went black.
Goateng Ju felt bad and decided against correcting him. Instead, he seized the opportunity and wrote it down in pen.
"Well fine, we can let someone fill your spot in A2. Well since that's it. This class will be A5 and the form teacher will be Mr Bink."
He finished his documentation for the class and made it final. It barely took a second before he walked of before Wrenlow could change his mind.
