Combat Emperor - [ Chapter - 36 ]

It was like the message I got from the experience king but he didn't want to just meet up, he wanted to challenge me since I climbed the rankings of CRA even though other people who had more combat power than me faced me and still lost.

Of course I agreed because I was curious about this person and their job because it wouldn't hurt to have allies and after a while he finally sent the challenge to me and I accepted it.

Then I was instantly teleported to his arena and he was wearing clothing that was similar to a lion and his hair was dyed orange, I checked the stats on his equipment and saw all of them are artifacts used by the previous Combat Emperor.

It seemed cool that he dyed his hair and it was part of the new update too, it was that players are now able to equip fashionable equipment in the new vanity slots.

And we can roughly change our appearance so I decided after meeting up with the combat emperor, I would change how I look.

It seemed like he wasn't moving either so I shouted to him why wasn't he moving and he was actually just afk and he started to battle so I wanted to wait for him, so I just talked to my chat for a bit.

After a while he came back and he apologized and said that he had something important he needed to take care of, I said it was okay and just told him to start the fight, he agreed and restarted the countdown for the fight.

The waiting before the fight was good too since I was able to recover some blessing energy while waiting for him and the battle was really intense.

I couldn't see his stats but his level was close to mine so I was wondering what skill made him so powerful without blessings like me.

I ordered the undead blood sythed goblins and undead serpent to try and block him and they were easily knocked out in just a few hits, so I didn't bother trying Splashy and the rest.

But I did try summoning Gold and made him huge, his size shocked the audience because I don't think they've seen Gold in battle, Gold was a good tank when he was that big but he couldn't hurt him that much.

So I tried using multiple blessings at once on me again and I was able to start fighting him on equal terms and with Gold backing me I didn't have to worry about damage, I also got Sprout out to help the angel support me and Gold just in case.

The shield needed some stat points for it to be equal or atleast be able to block the combat emperor's attacks so I had to use my extra stat points that I was saving if I ever needed it.

And after feeding it all of my extra stat points, it was now able to take hits from him but it's durability was being chipped off rapidly, so I wasn't that reliant on it for purely defense, I used it as a way to block attacks that I can't see.

I was getting pushed back by a lot after a while because his stamina was massive and he didn't even seem tired at all after taking off a lot of health and durability agains Godl and the shield.

After that as a last resort, I just summoned all the creatures that I had and transformed into a dragon to try and atleast match his power even though, my stamina was almost depleted.

Sprout and the Angel I had couldn't heal anymore because he ran out of MP, and I used multiple authorities at once to take a huge hit against him, I couldn't believe he was facing off me like this and winning.

I really didn't want to waste blessing energy by summoning a spirit to fight against a player and even if I died, I wouldn't drop levels or items and soon after a while I had to return to human form.

Then I started using Elven's Language skill that I got and it was working for a bit until he noticed and started chasing me and I couldn't run that fast while talking so the spells weren't working anymore.

And after a while he completely annihilated me and my tamed, undead creatures and also the angel that I had, after that my ranking dropped a bit but it didn't matter.

And when I checked my live stream, I recieved loads of messages and donations asking me to battle with other people with special jobs, I said I might do it or I might not but with how much gold I recieved in the live stream it was already more than a month's rent.

After checking the Combat Emperor came up to me and said, "That was the most challenging battle I had in DigiLife, I hope you become stronger so it will be more fun next time!", I guess he really like battles.

Then after that he said that he wanted us to be friends and asked if I knew any strong people and I asked if he has challenged the Experience King and he said he hasn't but he wants to and said "He hasn't replied to any of my request.".

I told him that she was a girl and I could help him get in touch with her, he happily accepted it and we friended each other and I ended the stream a little later and then I texted the experience king to see if she was interested.
