14 Born to Kill XIV

The Third Elder trembled. Now that he remembers, there were three reports of some young servants moving along with guards to escape; the reports said they were all killed, though.

'So she was one of that lot too but… she was all by herself that night… Hah, she was so young but already that perceptive, no wonder, she is indeed…' he smiled helplessly.

Seeing his changing face, Xia Feng Zi added, "Hee- Now you know how lucky you are, Master… Yet your luck will have been better without me. The Shang Dynasty has been so quiet, I guess no one besides me survived… but well, it is not as if I care.

"Vengeance and the like doesn't suit me so don't worry Master, your employer won't know about your mistake from me, the girl you praised as being born to kill," she giggled; it was so hilarious the girl he had raised had become a threat not only to the Red Night Palace but also to one of the employers they cared the most.

"Z…"

*Slash* The Third Elder still had words to say but Xia Feng Zi had spoken more words than was needed; hence, she sliced his throat when she got conscious of how playful she had gotten again.

"All done," she whispered as she saw the lifeless body of the Third Elder.

"Suuu~"

*Blast*

*Crackle*

"…" She turned around when she heard a minor explosion coming from the still burning main palace, "Fuuu~"

'Though I didn't expect such a mess…' she blinked at how the already broken high walls shattered even more.

At length, she shrugged and put away her long sword, deciding to go away.

"Wait," however, before she could lap in the sky, her master's voice rang in her ears and her beautiful translucent figure appeared before her eyes.
