38 The Duel With The Three Genuises

The disciples who came to cause trouble earlier had already reported to the senior brother who sent them. After receiving the report they were sent again to give Alusec a message but they kept moving from place to place within the clan and couldn't find him. Anytime they got to a place and asked about Alusec and Briella while giving a description, they would be told that both of them had already left.

Right now it was already evening while Alusec and Briella were heading to a place called the den.

The den was the place where they kept a lot of wild beasts, the place was surrounded by a dimensional barrier that prevented them from coming out to cause chaos in the clan. At the edge of the den was where the Bali mountain was. Briella wanted to check up on her sister while also letting Alusec take a look around the den.

The den was used as a test site for mortal level disciples so the beasts there were not powerful enough to endanger Ivrena or anyone at the planetary level.

Alusec and Ivrena were getting close to the den when they saw the same bunch of people earlier in the morning coming towards them from the crossroad about three meters from them.

They blocked their path again like earlier but this time no one spoke. Alusec only saw the three that spoke in the morning bring out a rectangular-shaped device and speak, "They're on the path that leads to the den,"

Alusec decided to wait and see the stunt that they wanted to pull.

Some seconds later flight sounds could be heard coming from three separate directions.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The three people were flying in from the northwest, northeast and southwest landed in front of the bunch.

The three of them were dressed like the bunch in white green and orange the only difference was the look of haughtiness on their faces.

"I'm Ouyang but you can call me big brother Ouyang," The man on orange with short brown hair spoke.

"I'm Culdur, but you can call me big brother Culdur or Lord Culdur if you please," The man on white with bald head spoke more haughtily.

"I'm Fengshar but a commoner like you should bow and call me Lord Fengshar," The man on the green with blonde hair spoke while placing his right hand on his hair and rubbing it backward in a suave manner. He had handsome looks like a playboy.

After they finished introducing themselves...

"Who are these clowns?" Alusec asked while turning his head to stare at Briella who stood on his left.

Gasp!

The sounds of gasping could be heard, 'Did he just call them clowns?' the bunch of clan members had the same thought.

Just as Alusec called them clowns the look on their faces changed.

"You're only at the star transformation level and yet you dare call us clowns... who is the real clown?" Fengshar spoke while pointing his finger at Alusec, revealing his cultivation level.

The three of them unleashed their aura on Alusec trying to pressure him but were surprised to see no reaction whatsoever from him.

"Of course the three of you are. Being at the star transformation level is enough to take the three of you on with a hand behind my back," Alusec replied with pure arrogance written all over his face. He knew that if he kept letting this bunch go without teaching them a lesson they would keep coming back to disturb him so he decided to initiate a fight himself.

-I thought he was already a supreme being

-He's weak compared to our three senior brothers

-He's going to run with his tails between his legs when he finds out their cultivation level.

Chatters were coming from the bunch, the path that everyone was currently standing on also led to the disciples quarters so more and more people were starting to gather. Some ladies also arrived and some they happen to be fangirls of the three men that were referred to as big brothers. They weren't happy with what Alusec said and started clamoring for the big brothers to teach him a lesson.

Briella's beautiful face shone with worry as she tried to warn Alusec about their cultivation level, "Alusec, you shouldn't pick a fight with them, they're all at them..." before she completed her statement Alusec interrupted her, "Who cares if they're at the moon transformation level? They're just a bunch of kids who should be taking a nap," Alusec words made the three feel more infuriated than they were earlier. Everyone always spoke to them with respect including the sub-elders and elders, yet they were being disrespected by someone with a lower cultivation than them.

"Let's have a duel, I'll be the one to take you on," Fengshar said with gritted teeth.

"No, I'll be the one to take him on," Ouyang said while clenching his fist.

"Both of you should stay back, he's my prey," Culdur spoke while walking towards Alusec.

"Why don't the three of you come at me together, that way it'll be faster, swatting three flies in one go," Alusec said while staring at the three like children that were fighting over who gets to play with a toy first.

Alusec proposal made the place quiet down as everyone had a gobsmacked look on their faces. It was normal for someone at a higher level of strength to ask those that were lower in strength to come at him together but this was the first time they were seeing the same thing for someone lower in cultivation strength.

'Maybe he's doing all this to look cool and impress the princess,' Most of them had this thought.

The three stared at Alusec like he was retarded, "You want the three of us to come at you together," Culdur spoke with a hissing tone, "I've never seen someone so arrogant before in my entire life," Ouyang said with his face twisting in anger.

"It's only arrogance if you there's no strength to back it up," Alusec said making their faces twist in rage once again.

While the situation was being heated up and more than two hundred people had arrived to watch the scene unfolding, an elder finally arrived.

Thump!

He landed in their midst, "Ouyang, Fengshar, Culdur, you should know that fighting in public places is not allowed, if you want to have a duel, go to one of the training grounds and secondly cultivator Alusec here is the guest of our Patriarch and not a member of this clan so should he choose to refuse to duel, the three of you will have to comply," The elder reminded them of the rules while also making it clear that Alusec was not just anybody. This cleared up all the doubts that a lot of the crowd had and they scrutinized Alusec again, taking note of his unique features after all being the guest of the Patriarch was a big deal.

Seeing Alusec aloof expression, some of them thought, 'Maybe he does have something up his sleeves,'

"I accept, but I don't know if they dare to face me," Alusec arrogant words made the three stare at him with a threatening look, "We are ready to duel Elder Bayi,"

I'll be the moderator for your duel... let's move to the closest training ground in the area," He declared and everyone to start moving towards the direction of the disciples quarters.

Briella had no choice but to follow since things had gotten to this point.

Minutes later everyone had gathered around an exalted battle arena that was about the size of two soccer fields. This time the number of people that had gathered was almost up to a thousand. The news had already spread across the clan that the Patriarch's daughters' fiance would be having a duel with the three out of the five most outstanding geniuses of the Baki clan. It turns out that the three of them were just coming out of seclusion and heard about the news of the Patriarch betrothing his daughters' to one unknown man. Two of them had set their eyes on Briella for a long time now while the other one had eyes for Ivrena, so there was no way they would allow an outsider to come and take their love interests away but what they didn't know was that the rumors were false and Alusec was not even interested in anyone of them.

After some minutes elder finished setting up the fight arena by erecting barriers to protect the spectators from the impact of the battle.

The elder proceeded to ask the four to get on the exalted arena which they did.

Briella who was initially worried wasn't feeling that way anymore. She stared at Alusec as he flew into the arena, she couldn't deny that there was this aura of pride and confidence around him, with his aloof expression that always made him look charming.

On the battle arena, the elder asked them about the terms of the duel to which the three of them agreed that until a party surrenders or passes out the fight would continue.

The elder asked if Alusec was ok with the terms and he nodded slightly, the three so-called big brothers had a wide smile on their faces. They had come up with a way to torture Alusec and they believed he wouldn't walk out of the arena in one piece.

Alusec stood on the south side of the arena while the three of them stood on the north side.

"With the consent of both sides to the terms of the duel, let the battle begin!" The elder said and immediately flew off the battle arena.

After the elder left the arena, the spectators saw the three geniuses whisper among each other and after a few seconds, Ouyang steps forward while the remaining two stepped back.

Ouyang stepped forward stopping about three meters away from Alusec.

"I said y'all could come at me together or do you want to make it a personal beating?" Alusec asked nonchalantly.

"Shut up and get ready to be razed to the ground," After Ouyang said this he opened his mouth and....
