23 Recovering strength through battle (Part 3)

The crabs on the ocean had a look of confusion since they didn't see what happened. Alusec was moving so fast that they didn't even see afterimages, they only saw both their comrades slamming into each other and Alusec escaping without a scratch.

Only the Crab lord managed to see a bit.

"My cultivation has already improved to early-stage star transformation level, if I can get to mid-tier star transformation level, I should be able to use that skill to deal with that guy over there," Alusec said while staring at the crab lord who just watched from a distance with no intention of joining the fight obviously, he was looking for the chance to deal Alusec a disastrous blow if he let his guard down.

The remaining four crabs were now getting scared of attacking the man with dreadlocks but they could not disobey the command from their leader who asked them to attack together.

"Make sure you drag him underwater at all costs." The crab lord's voice echoed in their mind commanding them. The crab lord didn't care about their death anymore, he only wanted to make sure he killed this man with dreadlocks who had made him suffer the humiliation of attacking himself.

The remaining four crabs jumped into the air together, one spat out a web-like silk from its mouth, another one unleashed a green poisonous gas, while the remaining two attacked from the left and right, trying to make sure that Alusec stayed in the same position, so the attacks from behind would be a landed hit.

Alusec activated time flicker again and everything slowed down but this time he knew he couldn't use it for more than thirty seconds.

Swoosh!

He flew behind the one at the left and punched him towards the silk, which immediately covered the entire body. Alusec didn't stop moving, he flew behind the one at the right too, punching him towards the green-colored poisonous mist.

Shhhhhzzzzzz!

the body of the crab on the right side started melting immediately it made contact with the mist.

Alusec didn't waste any time, he quickly flew towards the crab that spat out the silk, kicking it towards the one that unleashed the poisonous mist.

Gbam!

They slammed into each other but Alusec wasn't done yet. He flew towards them placing them above each other and that was when the thirty seconds ran out.

The crabs only stared wide-eyed in confusion not understanding how they arrived at where they were.

"Frozen Vel"

Alusec shouted out and a sixty meter long and ten meters wide spear came flying out of the ocean, piercing into the crabs that were stacked upon one another.

Crack!

It penetrated from the mouth of the one below coming out from the head, but the momentum didn't stop, it penetrated the one above it too, impaling its eyes in the process. Blue blood poured out of their body as the fell into the ocean below.

"Two more to go," Alusec said while staring at the crab trapped in the silk and the crab lord who was still a distance away.

Alusec wanted to fly over to the crab trapped in silk when he saw a shadow looming over him. He turned around only to see a huge amount of waves protruding from the ocean below and covering more than a hundred meters coming from behind almost above his head, Alusec flew forward trying to escape the waves, 'That damn crab, why didn't I pay attention? it was only staying away so it would be able to use this large scale attack without being interrupted.' Alusec cursed at the crab for its sneakiness since he couldn't use time flicker infinitely due to his low strength.

Alusec could not get away in time since the range of the waves was very large.

He got washed into the ocean, with the current dragging him to the bottom which was thousands of meters deep.

Immediately Alusec was washed into the ocean, the crab lord finally jumped in after freeing its last spawn from the silk.

At the bottom of the ocean, Alusec stared at the sea rocks beneath, some weird indigo-colored plants were all over the ocean floor.

Alusec wanted to swim upward when something flashed past him very fast.

Swwoonnn!

The same thing happened again.

Swwwoonn!

This time from his right side, it was so fast that Alusec couldn't see it completely but he knew that it was the crab lord.

'It speed has tripled..' Alusec noticed this and realized that the crab lord changed the location of the battle to a much more convenient zone for itself.

Alusec watched as the crab lord kept swimming around him in a circular motion.

"If you're doing this to scare me, I'm afraid it's futile..." Alusec spoke up as he was getting tired of the taunts the crab lord was pulling.

"Silence mortal!" The crab lord spoke with a domineering voice while swinging its right claw at Alusec and generating fierce waves.

The crab lord was so fast, that Alusec only noticed the claw when it was a few feets away from his face.

Pow!

Alusec held his arms up in front of his chest in an '11' format, taking the full brunt of the attack which sent him swirling several meters backward leaving a trail of bubbles but before he could stabilize himself he felt something grabbing on to him, bringing his catapulting body to a stop.

Alusec had a fast reaction time so he immediately noticed that he was grabbed by the crab that was trapped by silk but before he could free himself from its grasp he was thrown forward by the crab.

Swwiingg!

Alusec was sent flying back towards the direction of the crab lord who was preparing another attack for him but just as he was close to the crab lord he suddenly smirked,

"You planned to use the ocean to your advantage, but did you think you were the only ones that can do that..." Alusec suddenly came to a stop a few feet away from the crab lord.

"Water domain.... Clone materialization!"

After Alusec said that phrase...

Puff!

A replica of himself appeared beside him but he wasn't done yet.

Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff!

A countless number of clones in the thousands kept appearing, surrounding both the crab lord and its spawn at the bottom of the ocean. They were so many that they covered a region of more than fifty meters.

Both their eyes narrowed in slits trying to find the real Alusec but they couldn't even spot any difference between the bodies that they were seeing.

This was an ability that Alusec could use to materialize clones from a body of water that would be able to use a quarter of his original strength, but Alusec couldn't use it unless he was underwater.

"If you're looking for the real me.... I'm right here," One of the countless numbers of clones spoke up and the crab lord turned left to stare at him.

"No, I'm right here," Another one spoke up from the right and the crab lord turned to stare at the right in confusion.

"This is the real me," Another one spoke up from the back.

"I'm right here"

"This is the real me"

" I'm here, can't you use your senses to spot the difference"

"Hey idiot, look at me"

"Such a dimwit, I'm the original"

The countless number of clones spoke up from different corners insulting the crab lord and making him cringe with anger.

"Here we come," One of the clones spoke and they divided, with more than half of them swimming towards the crab lord and the rest swimming towards his spawn.
