The South City
Sebastian came out of the hidden entrance, blinking because of the sudden light washing his face and flooding the Evernight Rivers.
The Rune Master shielded his eyes from the sun. "By the shadowed depths, what ungodly inferno is this?"
He then started making his way back to where he had left his undead minions.
Despite what one might have expected, the Serpent's quarters weren't within the inner city; instead, they were in the outer city, more precisely, in the southern part, called the south city.
The place wasn't that different from the North City. It was just that, since it was the farthest from the military barracks, it was also the most dangerous one.
This resulted in less frequent patrols and law enforcement. The lack of security allowed criminals, thieves, smugglers, and other kinds of people to have an easy time.
