Chapter 4: Lian Qingxue Pays Back the Money, Qi Yun is Awesome!

"Congratulations host, investment amount: ten yuan! Rebate of one hundred yuan has been deposited into your bank account!"

"Congratulations host, achievement completed: first investment, reward: learning god halo!"

Qi Yun felt a card in his pocket.

He took it out and found that it was a bank card.

"The system is finally not stupid..."

Qi Yun had been worried for a long time. Although he had a bank card now, it was opened by his family and they knew exactly how much money was in it. If he used this new card, he wouldn't be able to explain himself clearly.

After a while, his old-fashioned phone vibrated twice and a transfer message appeared. The card number inside was the same as the new bank card's.

He opened up his math book on the table and began experimenting with the effects of this Learning God Halo. His high school grades were average at best - below average compared to others in his class - let alone after graduating for so long. He returned all knowledge from high school back to teachers with interest rates included!

When evening self-study bell rang out loud enough for everyone else around him heard it too , Qi Yun snapped back into reality only after being patted on shoulder by Wang Shang .

"Qi Yun, what's wrong with you today? You're studying so hard? Can't we be honest about being learning disabled?" Wang Shang sneered.

Qi Yun patted Wang Shang on the shoulder.

"Ah, I wanted to get along with you guys as a learning-disabled person, but now that it has come to this point, I can't hide anymore. I am the Learning God!"

Wang Shang laughed out loud when he heard this.

Obviously didn't believe him.

Not just him - none of his classmates believed Qi Yun either and they all laughed at him. Even Lian Qingxue in the corner couldn't help but look up at Qi Yun. They had been classmates for three years; who didn't know each other's grades?

Seeing that Qi Yun didn't take the money, Lian Qingxue stubbornly handed it forward again.

"I can't take advantage of you," she said.

Watching as Lian Qingxue lowered her head and walked with footsteps like nails on the floorboards, Qi Yun spoke up: "Actually, I have something to ask of you."

He remembered giving eggs to Lian Qingxue before and she accepted them. Now it seemed that she accepted them because she copied his homework for him.

"You want me to do something?" asked Lian Qingxue confusedly.

"Yes. You see, yesterday I told you I'm a study god now or something?"

Lian Qingxue nodded but didn't understand what this had to do with her.

"Well actually I really want to study hard now but my foundation isn't very good so I was wondering if you could tutor me during winter break!"

"Tutoring?" repeated Lian Qinxgue incredulously

"Yes! The ten yuan is just a deposit!" exclaimed Qi Yun excitedly

After thinking about it for a moment,Lain Qinxgue nodded but still refused to take back the money: "I can teach you without taking any payment."

"... "

Hearing this made Qi Yun completely speechless.

He simply took a step forward and charged towards Lian Qingxue.

Lian Qingxue couldn't stand her ground this time. She jumped away like a rabbit, her face turning red with embarrassment.

Once Qi Yun became overbearing, there was nothing Lian Qingxue could do but stare as he walked back to his seat.

Today was the last day before winter break began. After half a day of classes, Spring City High School's senior three students were finally on vacation.

Wang Shang ran up to Qi Yun with his backpack: "Let's go to the internet cafe!"

Just then, Lian Qinxgue also came over: "Let's go! Let me see where your house is!"

She had taken the money and now she was ready to get down to business!

Qi Yun followed behind Lain Qinxgue out of the classroom while Wang Shang stared at them in amazement from behind: "They're meeting parents so soon! Qi Yun is amazing!"
