Vali Lucifer was a half-devil child of Razevan Lucifer and a human woman.

He was constantly subjected to violence for having more potential than his father when they found out that he had a sacred gear, one of the thirteen of the longinus class.

After years of suffering and the loss of his mother who disappeared, he decided to run away when he was 11 years old. But his plan was quickly discovered which resulted in his current situation on the run.

The young boy looked confused, not understanding what was happening and why suddenly there was so much light in the place of his enemies.

Initially he sees a column of black flames, which is soon replaced by a wave of blue and black energy.

As time passed, the dark blueish glow became brighter and brighter and soon took the form of a beautiful woman who smiled at him and said: "Hello little friend!"

Anastasia greeted the young devil with a pure smile.

Vali looked at unknown woman in surprise, he rubbed his eyes to make sure that woman really did appear and was not a illusion. "Who... who are you?"

"Me?" muttered Anastasia while pointing at herself. "My name is Anastasia, you can call me Ana."

"Ana." muttered the boy.

Anastasia nodded. "Yeah, that's me. By the way what is your name?"

Anastasia starts to approach which makes the boy tremble a little and raise his guard. "Stay away from me!"

"Calm down boy, what's up?" She raises her hands in surrender.

"My grandfather sent you here to kill me like the other two." He looks up with a defiant look pretending to have the courage to fight with her.

"Oh how cute." She pinches the boy's cheek. "You still haven't answered me what's your name."

The boy jumped back surprised by the woman's sudden action, summoning the sacred gear he had recently awakened. "I am Vali Lucifer, the white dragon emperor. If... if you don't want to die, get out of my way!"

"Hey, that is a sacred gear... I feel something familiar in it." She keeps looking at the blue wings that materialized behind Vali.

[Not her again! Run Vali!] A panicked voice speaks.

"Uhh why?" Vali is confused by his only partner's reaction after seeing this strange woman.

"This voice... it is very familiar." Anastasia is still trying to remember where she heard that voice from.

[It's the white dragon we killed during the War of the Three Factions. He kept fighting with that red one, remember?] Apollyon points out the identity to hasten his partner's reasoning.

[Oh shit, that talking sword is here too.] Albion exclaims upon realizing the presence of the cursed sword that injured him in the past.

"Albion are you okay? Who is she?" Vali asks a bit shocked by the situation.

"Ah the super developed white lizard." Anastasia smiles when she realizes the who is the soul locked in the sacred gear.

[Racist! He is one of my race, a noble dragon. We are not lizards!] Apollyon screams while complaining.

"Sorry Apollyon, I forgot that by genetics you two are closer to birds. So should I refer to you guys as giant chickens?" She laughs out loud.

[Stupid fairy, dinosaurs are related to birds, dragons are not. You are a fairy so should I call you Tinker Bell?] Apollyon speaks furiously.

"What did you say? I think I heard a cackle. So who made the noise... the black or the white?" Ana gives a playful smile.

[We are not dinossaurs!] Apollyon complains.

[That's enough, I'm one of the Heavenly Dragons, I will not be refered as a chicken. Even though I was defeated, I demand due respect.] Albion tries to act cool in front of Vali, but his voice is a little bit shaky.

"Whatever. How were you white? You must have gotten used to the form of sacred gear by now after all these years." She shrugs.

[I am fine. I'm already used to being sacred gear, my new wielder, Vali, is a great user if not perhaps the most powerful in history.] Albion replies sincerily realizing she wasn't going to care about his opinion.

[It's good to accept early, the longer it takes, the more annoying it gets.] Apollyon comments in a wise tone coming from experience. An image of an angry young white-haired girl slamming his sword form against the ground flashes through his mind. [Definitely accepting fast is the best.]

"Ah miss, who really are you?" Vali asks a little shakily but with his guard up.

"I already said I'm Ana. And I'm impressed with this arrogant white dragon being obedient to the descendant of one of the devils he mocked in the past."

"Are you talking about my grandfather?" Vali tilts his head.

"No. I mean your great-grandfather, the original Lucifer. That brat was so troublesome, but sometimes I miss his stubbornness." Anastasia forces a smile.

"You know my ancestor! Wait, did you say he was a brat? Are you older than him?" Vali's eyes sparkle with curiosity.

Anastasia gives a punch at Vali's head. "Boy, lesson number one...don't talk about a woman's age." Vali ducks in pain and Anastasia uses a healing spell pitying the boy. "Yes, I know your ancestor, after all I raised him since he was created."

"Are you God?" When he finishes talking, he feels a strong headache that was not due to the blow.

"No. I was his assistant." She has a nostalgic expression on her face.

"Wow." Vali is surprised.

"Anyway, what happened to you? And why did you say that your grandfather sent devils to hunt you down?"

"Well..." Vali was about to start talking when he was interrupted.

[The boy was raised on the basis of extreme domestic violence, I know you were considered by Lucifer as his mother, so... could you take care of Vali? At least until he can control my power to defend himself... please.] Albion quickly explains the situation vaguely so the boy doesn't have to remember his traumas. But what surprises everyone the most is the polite request he made putting away his pride.

"SURE!" Anastasia smiles happily and grabs Vali's hand, which makes him jump in surprise and get hugged by the woman while still in the air. "Feel free to consider me your guardian or if comfortable your mother."

Vali drops tears thinking about his mother.

"Vali, what happened? Everything is fine?" Anastasia panics.

"It's nothing. We should get out of here, my grandfather will send more people after me." Vali speaks hastily when he realizes that his escape may be compromised.

"Don't worry kid. We're going to the human world, but first we have to visit your grandfather, I have to ask VERY POLITELY for your custody, plus I need to ask him for the location of his mother."

"What?" Vali is shocked by Ana thinking. "No way, he will kill us."

[Calm down boy, apparently the current patriarch of the Lucifer family will be introduced to the Love Fists that his father was once targeted in life. HAHAHA] Apollyon laugh thinking about the scene.

[It's okay Vali. This woman may not look like it, but she is ridiculously strong.] Albion tries to calm the boy down.

"What are those Love Fists?" Vali ask in confusion.

Anastasia pat his head. "You'll find out in a bit... where exactly is your family's residence located? I'm not familiar with the underworld."

Vali points in the direction and is immediately teleported to the familiar residence with Anastasia.

They enter the area and hear a mocking voice "Look who's back... Vali you've accepted your fate, but who's your new friend?"

"Your worst nightmare." Anastasia smirks, summoning her sword.
