In a human's home village, the night was thick and silent as a female struggled in agony to give birth to a half-devil baby.

When the woman gave birth, she felt a mixture of fear and disgust for the thing that was born from her womb. She knew the child's father was a devil, and she wanted nothing to do with it. But she had no choice as she was forced to have the baby.

While she was in her home village, the villagers got together and came to her house with torches and makeshift weapons. They wanted to kill the baby as they knew it was half devil. The woman tried to argue, but not out of compassion - she knew that if the child was killed, the father would kill everyone in the village.

It was then that a powerful magician appeared. She saw the angry crowd and knew she had to act quickly. Using her magic, she froze time for everyone except the woman and baby.

The female magician looked at the woman sadly. "You didn't want this baby, did you?" she asked. The woman looked down at the baby in her arms and shook her head. "No," she said. "But I can't let them kill him. And I can't let them kill everyone else in the village either."

The mage sighed. "I understand. But you can't let this baby suffer because of the mistakes of others. He deserves a chance to live and choose his own path. How about we make a deal, you give me this child and I'll erase everyone's memories here including yours and the devil who is this boy's father."

"Fine by me you can take this boy. I'll take this deal if I can live a normal life again."

"Do you wish to name your son?"

"No, this boy will not be my son after our deal, I don't want to remember anything about him."

"So be it." The mage emotionless says as she picks up the baby.

"May I ask your name, great magician?"

"Anastasia."

With that, she undid the spell and the crowd began to move again. But instead of turning on the woman and baby, they walked away in silence, their memories altered by a powerful magic.

Anastasia leaves the village and travels through the human country called Great Britain. After arriving in a peculiar kingdom ruled by Emperor Constantine III, she decides to settle down there.

During her journey she named the child she collected as Emrys whose meaning is immortal, she decided on that name as she no longer wished to see anyone she interacted with suffering. She goes to an isolated area in the kingdom to raise the baby alone without attracting the attention of other supernatural beings.

Emrys was a curious and intelligent young man, always questioning the world around him. Anastasia, his adoptive mother and teacher of magic, was delighted with his thirst for knowledge.

From an early age, Emrys demonstrated exceptional magical abilities, capable of leaving Anastasia impressed. He could manipulate elements, cast spells, and even create small magical beings with a simple gesture. He was able to use the Devil's Imagination System and a theoretical form based on calculations, in addition to using magic in the form created by his mother.

Despite his natural talent, Emrys was still a child, and he often got into trouble because of his curiosity. Anastasia, however, was always there to guide and protect him.

She taught Emrys not just the art of magic or swordsmanship, but also important values ​​such as kindness, justice, and compassion. She knew that, in the future, he would become a great magician and that these values ​​would be fundamental for his journey.

Meanwhile, Anastasia closely followed Emrys' growth, always being proud of her adopted son. She knew the boy had a great destiny ahead of him and she was determined to help him achieve it.

One day, she sensed the presence of a faerie in a nearby lake as she was walking with Emrys to collect certain medicinal herbs to secure her false identity as a herbalist. She decided to go to the lake to check who this fairy was and Emrys went with her out of curiosity.

Upon arriving at the lake she found a beautiful fairy on the edge of the lake as if waiting for her arrival.

"Emrys, you wait here until I see if the fairy is friendly."

"Okay mother." He nods and obediently sits down on a nearby rock to wait while he plays with his own magic.

Anastasia walks in the direction of the fairy, she greeted her with a polite smile. The lake fairy, as usual, was polite and formal in her response.

"Greetings, Mrs. Le Fay. It is an honor to meet you," Said the fairy with a respectful gesture.

"How did you recognize my title? I was the fairy queen of another world."

"Madam Le Fay, some fairies escaped their original world and came to this one, they told me about their history and we have drawings of their appearance as well as detailed descriptions of their aura."

"Are you telling the truth? Baobhan, Melusine, Barghest, and the others are still alive?" Anastasia presents a hopeful look.

"Actually they were, they didn't survive long as their lifespan was shortened by moving away from their original fairy world. But they did send greetings if we found you and it's an honor to meet you, my name is Vivian. Unlike other faeries, the ladies of the lake have extremely similar counterparts in other universes so I share a similar name to the faerie who protected the lakes of your world."

"The pleasure is all mine, Lady Vivian. I've heard much about you and your reputation as one of the most powerful ladies on the lake, well at least the lake fairy Vivian from my original world used to be famous so I guess you have the same fame." Anastasia replied in a flattering tone, but wracked with false hope.

Vivian blushed slightly at the compliment, appreciating the kindness. Anastasia then invited Vivian to walk through the vast gardens from the forest near the lake, where they could talk more quietly.

As they walked, Anastasia asked about Vivian's life, her activities and responsibilities as the lady of the lake. Vivian, on the other hand, was curious about Anastasia's magical abilities and her stories about the ancient fairy court.

"Vivian, I have a sensitive question about the current faerie situation."

"And what would that be?"

"Is the energy that the fairies of this world draw on capable of resurrecting some specific souls?"

"The fairies here are much weaker than the ones in your world. We are just protectors of nature and guides humans to a righteous path."

"I see." Anastasia is silent after the disappointment.

Over time, the two women grew closer and began to share stories and secrets. Anastasia told Vivian about Emrys's childhood, the fact that she had adopted him as her son and was teaching him magic. Vivian, in turn, spoke about her love for nature and animals, in addition to commenting on her duties as the lady of the lake and winning the interest of Anastasia, who promptly offered to help her.

It was at this moment that Emrys appeared. He was less than eleven years old, but he already demonstrated impressive magical abilities. Upon seeing Vivian, his heart speed up and he was completely enchanted by the beauty of the lady of the lake.

Anastasia noticed the boy's interest and chuckled fondly, knowing that her young protégé was beginning to discover the charms of love.

Years went by and young Emrys now an adult decided to go on an adventure when his mother told him that he had completed his training. He also decided to change his name to Merlin Ambrosius to not let people find out about his past and let everyone believe he is just a wandering mage.

Anastasia and Merlin said goodbye to each other, but she wished the boy to stay safe. She muttered the words 'Fehu, wealth and prosperity' when the boy turned around to start his jorney.

That's how the journey of the legendary magician who would create the magic system used by humans in the future began, in addition to starting the story of the advisor magician of Uther Pendragon and Arthur Pendragon.

After leaving the place Anastasia decides to return to the heavens because several years had passed since she left.
