I was in a mansion in the suburbs at that moment.

All the doors and windows were locked. I was forbidden to step out of the house. There was a butler monitoring me 24 hours a day and four security guards outside the house.

"Is this the arrangement you told me you would make?" I stepped barefoot on Richard's thigh. He did not even frown.

"Georgiana, should I call you Georgiana James or Georgina Watson?"

He grabbed my ankle and looked down at me gently.

Georgina Watson was my previous name, and I deliberately followed my mother's surname.

As soon as the words left his lips, I knew that Richard had investigated everything clearly.

The arrangement he said was to imprison me and give him another child. Richard was so clever and stubborn that he firmly believed that the lost child was his.
