A word of advice to all the ladies out there—before getting married, one must investigate the man's background, even if it meant spending a fortune to do so discreetly.

My husband had an elder sister I had never met before we married. After we got married, she came to stay at our home for a few days.

In my bridal chamber, she stood beside her little brother, helped him fix his collar, and reminded him, "Remember to be careful. Come home early tonight, and I'll make dinner for you."

I tried to chase her away, but she merely pretended to agree to move out when, in fact, she was secretly adding special ingredients to my meals.

How could regular people walk the path of lawlessness so easily?

It was only later that I learned she wasn't a regular person at all. She had been incarcerated and only recently got out of prison.
