Don't Be Afraid, Alexia

Not long after, Alexia was discharged from the hospital.

We went to the market to buy some food for her.

When we got home, we saw Loomis standing at the door of our apartment with a bunch of roses in his hand. When he saw Alexia, he put the flowers in Alexia's hand and called her "honey".

I took the roses from Alexia's hand and threw them on the ground. I told Loomis to get out of there as soon as possible. He was not angry.

"Felina, from now on, I'm your brother-in-law! Am I right, honey?" he grinned, reached out, and held Alexia in his arms, squinting at me.

I was so angry that I threw away the food in my hands, grabbed his damn hand, and took out my phone to call the police.

But Alexia stopped me and said, "Felina, stop. I asked him to come. I... I don't think it's a good idea to go on like this..."

I was completely confused.

Alexia broke free from Loomis's hand and pulled the corner of my clothes. "Felina, don't blame me. I don't want to fight against him anymore."
