Later on, we became estranged.

It was only natural. How could I live with him anymore?

I lived with my dad, and he lived with his mom.

Well... I guess she was my mom as well, then.

On a chilling night, his mother suddenly called and told us that Loren had gone missing.

He didn't come home from school.

She couldn't get through to him.

Nevertheless, he was Jack's son after all, so Jack went to look for him overnight.

I curled up on the sofa and stared blankly at the TV.

He disappeared into thin air. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't find him.

Later, we called the police, and my parents would distribute daily flyers for him.

I went to school as usual, but a seat in the classroom was no longer occupied.

On the other hand, about Percy... we got along well.

I probably needed someone to talk to.

He was very quiet and a good listener.

I cried too many times in front of him, and he would silently hand me a tissue every time.
