Chapter 12
In the dead of the night, a group of hooded figures gather around a blazing bonfire. "Hmmm....so that Feyisayo is now rendered useless. What a bothersome child." said their leader who was an elderly woman with a red snake marking on her head.
"Not just her. Those stupid youth allies of hers. We will have to deal with all of them as well plus their families." says an elderly member of the cult. "Leave that to us." says one of the youth members of the cult.
"Yes. It is the least we could do considering how strong the brat is." says Ebun whilst her mother nods. "It is her paternal heritage. It has been rumoured that the Badmus Royal Family had a lot of untapped magical powers. Who knows? Maybe that is partially why that child keeps on surviving."
"You did well because slowly but surely you have poisoned her mind and that of that useless boyfriend of hers plus the entire world. But we have one more thing for her and you two must carry out that task."
"Yeye oh!!" Ebun and Mrs Badmus both shout in unison and bow their heads.
Meanwhile, Feyi screams as the nurse injects yet another sedative into her body. This was perhaps the fifth time they would do such to her in one day.
Someway somehow, the girl regained her consciousness and is now fighting for her life.
"Omo!! This child too troublesome oh!!" The nurse laments as she slaps Feyi hard in the head. The girl recoils and cowers in fear.
"Take her away!!" The head nurse ordered. The guards did not hesitate as they drag her away to her little ward and throw her into the room.
The poor girl breaks down in tears and bangs on the door. "LET ME OUT!! LET ME OUT!!" She screams at the top of her lungs.
She does not know how she got into this place but what she does know is that this place was a prison for children deemed troublesome in the eyes of their parents though to the general public, it was a correctional centre.
The girl finally gives up and sinks to the ground and continues to sob. "Why Lord have you forsaken me?!!"
She kept on sobbing until she drifts off to sleep, begging for some sort of rescue or even better death.
Meanwhile, Ebun sighs as she brushes her silky raven mane and stares at her reflection. Now that Feyi was out of the way and the world has successfully been fooled thanks to her elaborate magic spell and The Sacred Blues Cult's backing, she is now living the life of luxury; the life that Feyi so desired and worked hard towards.
That legacy she built in the gaming world? Completely flipped on its head. Dolapo is a useful pawn to use against Feyi but at the same time, he poses a problem should he regain his memories and start searching for Feyi.
"Yet another big mistake. Those two will pose a terrible danger to me, Feyi in particular if she even gathers the strength to bust out of that prison alive. Hmmm.....what to do? What to do?"
She smirks as an evil idea supplants itself in her already nefarious mind. "But first things first, I must marry Dolapo and then steal his family's wealth and destroy them all."
She then picks up her diamond-encrusted iPhone and puts a call forward. "Longest time Ebun." came a gruff masculine voice. She simply chuckles. "I have a job for you and only you I can entrust with this." she says.
"Whatever you say, my boys and I shall handle it." he says. "Good to know because I want a hundred percent clean job here. I shall pay you double the usual amount."
"Deal. What is this job?"
She smirks. "Well..."
