Athena The Goddess Of War and Wisdom
"Chill, bruh. Didn't you miss me?" Victor asked.
I sighed. "It's already a shock for me that you're like me and our past? Won't you feel awkward because of our past?" I said.
He rolled his eyes. "Be happy! We're the same now, hun. We can do it again! We've done it before, what makes you think it can't happen again?" He asked with a smirk.
Y'all be there thinking something happened between us and I can't deny that fact but I'm sure in hell you wouldn't know what it was or guess it? I don't really know. "Which makes it more annoying since I know you and we were known for... let's just say for unwise choices... and I have a reputation since I'm the Goddess of Wisdom. I really do miss you, hun, but we are so not redoing our mistakes." I said.
He gave me a puppy sad eyes in which I returned with a scowl. "You see, love, that's what makes it fun. You call those mistakes? I call them fun! You know you're just like me wanting for hell to break lose. Love, you can't change your past and your past isn't a mistake. You had fun. Now you're pressuring your self even when you don't need to. Our so called 'mistakes' were your happiness. Don't deny it. You know it was fun. You enjoyed every minute and every second we do it. Don't think you've change. You've only got better at hiding. You're waiting for the perfect time for hell to break lose." He said and smiled which made me return the smile.
What's annoying isn't him bringing up my annoying past, what's annoying is, he's right. I enjoyed every last second. Everything. I can't be her again. Never. Not now. "You know, Vic, we can still be friends if you don't bring up that horrible past." I said with a sincere tone. "You just had to bring it up. I still love you, hun. I'll never stop loving you. I miss the fun times we had but... sadly, I can't be irresponsible. There are burdens that I just can't let anyone else know." I explained.
He sighed. "I love you too, hun. Just don't forget to call me when all hell break lose, kay?" He asked and hugged me.
I even shed a tear, actually. "God, I miss this. I miss us hanging out. I miss our friday movie night." I said. "Sadly, we can't be the cliché school populars." I said while ending our hug.
He sighed. "You're right. Your only problem is you're so responsible. Don't you get tired? You really need to losen up. I can help you if you want. Bye then. I guess... I'll see you around?" He asked while walking towards the door.
I sighed. "Saturday night! After the ball or party or something! Wait... after the elections I mean!" I yelled which made him look back.
He smirked. "I guess the old school popular is back, huh?" He said while giving me a flirtatious wink.
I laughed and return the wink. "Wait, Victor!" I called out. He looked back. God, I am so gonna regret this tomorrow. "Wanna go now? With all this pressure and being potentially one of the Gods Blood's Royal(God Bloods is their school and it's filled with Gods and demigods and legacies and some occasional other types like witches and wolves and wizards and vampires), I need some break. We're gonna have so much fun, hun." I said and walked towards my room and entered my big walk-in-closet.
The next day was a morning of a splitting headache and I had to deal with a stupid hangover. "Morning." I greeted as I stood up.
Victor just yawned and stood up. "When are you gonna cook?" He asked.
I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "I don't cook anymore. Duh. I have no time and I only eat cereal." I said and took a big like a huge and I mean ginormous bowl. I put the cereal and the milk next and saw Victor making his own cereal.
"What happened to your parents' house? Your dorm? Your first house? Your second house? Your game house?" He asked suddenly.
I sighed. "I still have them. I mean I still go there from time to time especially because I also need to manage the hospital. Also the main company. It's good that my relatives are good enough to take care of the hospital and the companies. I mean, they do it because they understand. They are... how can I say this? Uhm... Gods and goddesses."
He sighed. "So that means your a goddess and both your parents were a god and goddess. The problem is your 'parents' were human. That means they were only your foster parents. Your real parent or parents are gods." He explained.
Wow. I have never thought of that. That means... my real parents gave me to my relatives who found a suitable 'parents' for me. "Woah, that's just... my whole life is a lie. I don't really care especially because I'm used to lies."
He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Don't lie to me, Tin. I know you better than anyone. I know you're hurt. You didn't expect that. Don't try to fool me." He said.
He's... right. I am sad. Why, you ask? Firstly because, my parents didn't love me enough to take care of me. "Hah... you know me more than I know you... I don't know anymore." I said and smiled while eating.
After a few hours of talking and laughing, I just got a call from Audrey. "Where the hell are you!?! Why aren't you at school!?! Where did you go!?!" She asked.
I laughed. "Geez... wait, what!?! I FORGOT ABOUT SCHOOL! VIC! SCHOOL! NOW!" I told him and hurry. "Bye, Audrey. I need to go to school." I said.
She sighed and I can see her face palming herself right now. "Athena, school is over. It's already 4." She told me and hung up.
WHAT!?! "Victor! We didn't go to school! What about my rep?" I asked him.
He laughed and sighed. "Calm down. Geez, Tin-Tin. Stop worrying." He said.
