Athena The Goddess of War and Wisdom

"Queen! Queen!" Someone called out. I looked behind me and saw a panting Princess. "You need to check something for the anniversary!" She told me.

I looked at her. "Talk to the king." I said with a cold voice and a cold glare.

She nodded and ran away. Gawd! Princesses this days. Always the queen and never the useless king. I went to the Royals Office and saw the King. "Your Majesty." I said sarcastically.

He chuckled. "The little princess told me that you want me to do work. Is that true, Queenie?"

The moment he said that nickname, I glared at him. "Kingie, baby, you know you don't wanna step out of line, do you? Let me remind you of our deal, Mark Ford."

He raised both his hands and surrendered. "Whatever." He said with a shrug. "What's up with you lately, A?" He asked.

I laughed. "Trust me, M, you don't wanna know."

He faked gasped, "Ooooh, spill the teaaaa."

I chuckled. "Just do the royal's work, M. Please?" I begged.

He laughed. "Sure. Whatever makes you happy, baby girl."

Some time passed and I never went to class. "Why are you still here, A?"

I shrugged. "Didn't feel like studying. My brain is literally flying right now."

He chuckled. "May I possibly know the reason behind this, m'lady?"

I just stared at him. "Stop the 'm'lady' stuff already," I said with a pleading voice, "please?"

He smirked and kept on calling me 'm'lady.'

Some time passed and all the paper work was about to be finished when I got a call. Strange... unknown number. "Athena speaking." I introduced.

"This is the police. Are you the niece of Mary Lopez and Tony Lopez?" A police officer asked.

Holy guacamole! What the hell happened? "Yes, this is Athena Veamir. May I ask what happened?"

The officer sighed. What does the sigh mean? Is it bad? Good? Gosh. "We'd like you to come to the station. We'll tell you in here."

"Sure, which station?"

Weird. What happened? Did they kill someone? Gaaaawd! I hope not. When I arrived at the station, the officer greeted me and led me to a questioning room. "Are you Athena Veamir, age 17?"

I nodded. "Officer, not to be rude but why am I here?"

He sighed again. "When was the last time you've been in contact with your aunt and uncle?"

Holy guacs! Don't tell me... "Are they... dead?" I asked.

My eyes started to water. "Answer the question first, miss."

I sobbed quietly. "A few months ago. Before school started." I specified.

He nodded. "Well, Miss Veamir, your aunt and uncle is dead. They were found dead at 8:36 AM earlier."

I sobbed loudly. "Why did you call me just now?" I asked.

"We just got in contact with you right now. If you can contact your cousin, their child, we would like you to tell him."

I realized. It must be him. It may be rude to assume but he's always been like that. Since we were kids. He liked imagining killing someone. "That won't be necessary." I said and left the station.

When I got in my car, I drove directly back to my house. I'm so emotionally unstable. I entered my room and cried. Not even bothering to change clothes. I need someone. I need someone who'll understand me. Who? Just who knows about my past? Victor.

I dialed his number and he answered. "Sup, babe?" He asked jokingly.

I sobbed again. "A-are you b-b-busy, Vic?" I asked with a stutter.

He sounded worried when he replied, "Tin? What's wrong? Do you need help? What happened?" He asked all at once.

I cried even harder. "Please c-c-come h-here." I begged.

He agreed and hung up. I just needed someone to talk to. To rant to. A person who won't actually judge me.

Kyle the Son of Hades

This is all your fault, Athena Veamir. Let me see how pathetic you look now.

I walked to my so called stalking room and as usual, the mysterious voice showed me her. Pathetic. How pathetic.

If only you stayed unconscious. I wouldn't have gone to such lengths. "Sire, shall I prepare your food now?"

I nodded. "Hurry up and clean the mess." I instructed.

I actually did love you my cute little sister. You just had to change. I thought we were the same. And who might this be? How shocking to see little Victor.

Victor the Son of Demeter

What am I to do? What the hell. "Okay, Thena. Tell me. I'll stay here."

She looked at me and sobbed loudly. "T-they're d-de..." She tried to say, "d-d-dead."

Who's dead? Why are they dead? Why is she so affected? "Tin-tin. Look at me." I instructed while snapping my fingers. I need to keep her attention on me. When she finally looked at me I told her, "Deep breaths. Inhale. Exhale."

"Okay. Okay. I'm calm. I'm cool and collected. I'm calm." She mumbled to herself. "I'm... tired. I'm mentally drained. I no longer have tears to cry." She told me in a daze.

What happened. "Athena. Focus on me. Only me." I snapped my fingers again to grab her attention. "So tell me... what happened?" I asked. "Did Lezley finally die?" Gods I hope she thinks that's funny. Oh Lezley please don't actually die.

She laughed a bit. "Oh, I wish that was the case, V." I nodded.

"You can just cry more. I won't force you to tell me."

She sighed. "You're not forcing me. I really need to vent and just tell someone than keep everything bottled up."

After a while, she explained to me what happened about Mr. and Mrs. Lopez. That's... a lot. "Hey are you okay? I mean obviously not but hey are you okay?"

She nodded. "Never been worse. Hey, at least you're stuck with me." She joked.

I faked a laugh. "Oh, honey! I'm practically your conjoined twin!"
