1 1- Deus Ex Machina

The Era of Magic and Technology, the era in which Machina, a former game developer was reincarnated to. It has been two years since he came into this parallel world. Mech, Mage, Flying on a broom, spaceships, Real Magic, lightsabers,

Things that Machina had only seen in movies and anime existed here. Life was great here, lives of humans have become easier, many lived in happiness and peace. That was the other side of the coin.

On the other side, behind this peace and happiness were endless wars, poverty, and suffering, it was truly the dirty nature of humans that tainted this world, even with the threat of beings called Outer Gods. Humans never stopped killing each other.

Machina lived on the dirty side of the coin, even with the privileged of a Reincarnator, Machina had to venture to the junk city which where the Arvan Kingdom dumps theirs trashes. Here the smell of oil, sh*t, trash, and rusting metal was mixed together.

Machina was now a 15-year-old kid who lives in Junk City and also a student of the 112-Red Mech Academy.

Red Mech Academy was a prestigious Mech Academy in the Arvan Kingdom. Machina was only able to enter due to his high intelligence and also his knowledge from his past life, though, there are also stringent requirements, and that was before they graduate from the Academy, the student must build their own Mecha or at least own one.

Machina was a poor bloke and he really can't use his past life knowledge at this place, and so he had no choice but to build his Mecha, but materials are also expensive, and with Machina's poor self, his choices kept going down until he was only left with the Junk City.

But Machina was happy with his decision, because, he received a system! To be precise, it's called Deus Ex Machina System. How cool is that? It's something that every Reincarnator wants to have!

Like how its name said Deus Ex Machina helps Machina at the situations where he needed help like literally everything where he needed help with. Though it doesn't provide shops or a cheat, it has been a great help for Machina.

In his 2 years of going into the Junk City, Machina could not help but marvel at his creations, firstly, his very first creation, his first Mech bodysuit, it consists of a helmet that covers the face with a tinted orange glass, a full armor that covers the whole body, though, it was divided by parts, one on the chest, one the back, etc. (A/N: Appearance referenced after Master Chief)

It was made of Black Steel, Blue Crystal Starfire, and a rare material which is the Vibranium, ever since humans started exploring space, materials that never existed have been found, for example, the Blue Crystal Starfire that could only be found on a planet called C11.

The crystal is harder than Tungsten and was also flexible. It was the most commonly used material for making Mech, but Machina with the help of DEM System was able to make it into a bodysuit, as for the Vibranium, Machina found it by accident when he was looking for materials in the Junk City.

Though its appearance was not to Machina's satisfaction for now he could slowly upgrade it in the future and maybe make an armor the same as Doomguy. Machina's next creation is the MotherShip.

About 300 feet long, its appearance was based after Trade Federation Battleship of Star Wars, why think of original when you can just recreate the ones from your past life? Well, its size is smaller than the original, but Machina can also upgrade it in the future, what he lacked now were materials.

Just scavenging around the Junk City is not enough, making the MotherShip took Machina about 1 and half years with the help of DEM System to complete, of course, by what he meant by complete is everything is complete. From the engines to the weapons and starfighters, Machina also improved it by adding an advanced A.I. which took 80% of his savings.

Machina also made sure to improve everything, he made sure it won't be taken out by a 9-year-old, well enough of that, Machina was very satisfied with the Mothership, though he still doesn't have a crew, Machina had an idea in mind.

Lastly, his ongoing project, a mech, and not just any Mech. This was something no Mech Creator has ever done before, Machina wanted to fuse Magic and Mech, yes, it sounds like something that was supposed to happen many years ago but no.

There are no instances of these happening, it was like these never crossed on people's minds, though, there are theories saying it was impossible, though there is no proof saying why it's impossible, and Machina decided to do the impossible.

The word already said it itself 'I'm 'possible', and Machina was also up for the challenges, Machina took a deep breath and looked at the time, it was 4 in the afternoon, "I have plenty of time to look for materials" Machina estimated the time he will take to look/scavenge materials.

"Snap!

Machina snapped his fingers and then the Mech Bodysuit that was standing a few meters away from him moved, it walked towards Machina and went behind him, it adjusted its position to match Machina, and then it opened.

*Swoosh!

The front opened revealing its insides, Machina nodded from how worth the A.I. he bought, he then stepped back letting the Mech Bodysuit envelop his whole body, the Mech Bodysuit connected with Machina's body and finally, Machina was now controlling the Mech Bodysuit.

"Good, it doesn't feel uncomfortable" Machina stretched his body adapting to the Mech Bodysuit, "System online" a female mechanical voice resounded in Machina's ears, then like a game, UI appeared in Machina's eyes., "Feels like I'm the iron man" Machina chuckled, he then bent his knees preparing to jump.

*Boom!
