God System: The Path Beyond Heavens

One fateful day, Luke was betrayed by the person he loved the most, leaving him with a deep sense of betrayal. Consumed by a desire for revenge, Luke's life was abruptly cut short in a tragic accident. However, fate had other plans for him. Just as his soul was about to depart to reincarnate, a system intervened, offering him a second chance to seek vengeance and reunite with his beloved family. Luke found himself reincarnated in a new world, vastly different from the one he had known. Here, infected zombies and animals underwent horrifying mutations, transforming into terrifying monsters that launched large-scale attacks on humanity. In the face of impending destruction, humans constructed walls and established fortified cities, becoming humanity's last bastions of hope. The trials faced by mankind during this period were known as the "Nirvana Period." In this harsh and unforgiving environment, human physical strength gradually evolved and developed. Martial arts flourished, and human capabilities surpassed their previous limits. The qualitative improvement in human physical strength led to the rise of the finest warriors known as the "Star Warriors." This is the tale of Luke's journey as he embarks on the path to becoming a Star Warrior and reclaims his lost revenge.

Cosmic Energy Stages

[A/N: Okay, I think I made a typing mistake and named the Extreme Dojo, Supreme Dojo, so I will fix that. Thank you for reminding me.]

*****

"Not bad"

Luke wasn't that happy though.

'It's not enough,' he thought to himself as he carefully examined his result.

Now that he was sure that he is a Warrior apprentice, he can apply to join the 'Extreme Dojo'.

'My strength is enough for me to be accepted in the Extreme Dojo, but if I want to change my mother and sister's lives, I need the support and protection of the Extreme Dojo, which I can only get if I become a warrior.'

Since there were three parts to the Warrior Fitness exam, or the 'Prospective Fighter' exam: Strength, speed, and Cosmic Energy.

However──

In the prospective warrior exam, the passing mark for strength is ── 1.000kg!

For speed, the passing mark is── 15 m/s!

As for Cosmic Energy, the passing mark is to be able to channel and control at least 1,500 units of red-colored Cosmic Energy.

Now what distinguishes a Martial Warrior from a Warrior apprentice, aside from the strength and speed requirements, is the level of mastery in channeling and controlling Cosmic Energy and the purity of the energy they can harness.

A Warrior apprentice's cosmic energy is colorless and is often a mixture of different shades, indicating a lack of control and proficiency.

On the other hand, 1-Star Warrior cosmic energy is vibrant and pure red, symbolizing that it is more condensed and focused.

This purity of energy allows the Martial Warrior to execute powerful and precise techniques, maximizing the impact of their attacks.

For example, if a peak Warrior apprentice has 1,500 cosmic units and uses 500 units to launch an attack, and a 1-star warrior has the same amount but uses 100 units, the output of their attacks will be vastly different.

The 1-Star Warrior attack will be explosive and devastating, as the 100 units are more condensed and focused, allowing for a concentrated and forceful strike.

In contrast, the peak Warrior apprentice attack will lack the same intensity and precision due to the dispersion of energy across a larger number of units.

For a 1-Star Warrior to condense 10 units of red cosmic energy, he will need to compress 100 units of colorless energy inside his Dantian.

That is why most Warrior apprentices take longer to reach the level of a 1-Star Warrior, as they must first compress all their Cosmic Energy.

That is not all; the more realms a Warrior reaches, the more they will need to do the same.

A Martial Apprentice has Colorless Cosmic Energy.

1-Star Warrior has Red Cosmic Energy.

2-Star Warrior has Orange Cosmic Energy.

3-Star Warrior has Yellow Cosmic Energy.

4-Star Warrior has Green Cosmic Energy.

5-Star Warrior has Light-Blue Cosmic Energy.

6-Star Warrior has Dark-Blue Cosmic Energy.

7-Star Warrior has Violet Cosmic Energy.

8-Star Warrior has Silver Cosmic Energy.

9-Star Warrior has Gold Cosmic Energy.

Many warriors get stuck at a certain level of cosmic energy; they must work hard to break through their current limitations and reach the next level.

This can be a challenging process that requires intense training, discipline, and time.

Lucky for Luke, he has the system to help with enough God Points Luke can use to enhance his cosmic energy and quickly break through to the next level.

"Congratulation Crazy!!" Shaun exclaimed as Luke successfully had the strength and speed of a Warrior Apprentice.

"If your Cosmic Energy is also at the Warrior apprentice level, you can now join a dojo or join the military, and you can finally achieve your dreams."

"Thank you, Brother Shaun." Luke gratefully replied.

"So what are you going to do after graduation? The best option if you want a stable life is to join the military. Shaun suggested.

Luke shook his head and smiled. "While joining the military does offer stability, my dreams lie elsewhere."

China, of course, recruited soldiers.

However, regular soldiers didn't receive much.

However, a young man holding the title of 'Elite' and getting into a military academy', would have intellect and strength.

The country would surely focus on such people and give their families a home.

For the family of an officer, the conditions would be tens of hundreds of times better than this cheap, rented home.

But you will always be restricted, which is why Luke didn't want to join his sister and applied for the military academy.

It wasn't 100 percent certain that you would have a stable life even after graduating from there, as only the elites are guaranteed a comfortable life.

Luke knew that his sister's dreams of a stable and secure future could be shattered if she didn't excel among the elites.

'Well, she doesn't have to worry about that anymore,' Luke thought to himself as he thought about his sister inside the United Human Academy, which is the best military academy in China.

Luke hoped that his sister was doing fine there.

His relationship with his sister wasn't bad; on the contrary, his sister loved her brother dearly.

That's why, after knowing that her brother couldn't be a warrior, she took all the responsibility upon herself to become the best warrior she could be and help her family.

After talking with Brother Shuan for a couple of minutes, Luke left for another side of the training area, where there were private training rooms.

Of course, they weren't free, and Luke had to pay a fee to use them, but he didn't mind.

He still has to test his spirit power, and he couldn't do that in the public training area.

He wanted to keep his spirit power a secret so he could use it as a hidden weapon when necessary. The private training rooms provided him with the necessary privacy he needed to hone his skills without the prying eyes of others.

After paying the fees that Luke bleed from his pocket, he eagerly entered one of the private training rooms.

The room was spacious, with mirrored walls and a soft, padded floor.

Luke took a deep breath.

It was the same as outside, but there were robots that simulated real opponents, so warriors can experience fighting in a controlled environment.
