527 Monster Meat

In the darkness of the night, on a specific island within the space-time orb, a certain figure could be seen slowly walking through the hundreds of different flora that were present.

Her bare feet made no sound on the grass underneath, and the veils and loose clothing she wore made no sound as they lightly fluttered in the cool night breeze.

Anne Morningstar made sure not to make a sound as she made her way around her island, which was also home to every type of plant she had collected in her travels, as well as those brought to her by numerous people. Even the people of Tamriel and Azeroth had brought her different types of floral specimens from their home world's, which she had rejuvenated with Regeneration magic before cultivating them as well.

But right now Anne had a VERY different project in mind as she wandered through her garden.

Before working on that though, Anne had to check in on the other few people on the island.

She made her way to a more tropical area of the island, the region that reminded her most of the world that had been her home before meeting up with Alex, and where she had set up her workshop. It was also Anne's personal living quarters for when she wasn't spending the night with Alex, and were the only other people currently on the island were sleeping.

In the corner was a large creature with a long neck, and leafy green wings, a Pokemon she was given that was called Tropius. And curled up on Tropius' body, snuggling together as they slumbered, were Anne's two beloved children, Alec and Anna.

Anne smiled warmly as she looked down at her sleeping children, a protective instinct welling up within her despite how strong they already were themselves. Especially Alec, who was still the only one amongst his siblings to achieve the SSJ2 stage.

And then there was Anna, who wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps as a warrior of the earth and air. She was even starting to learn about druidry alongside her training as a Saiyan and Anne's own Dragon Slayer training. Thankfully Anna had an inborn draconic ability thanks to both her and Alex.

"Nh..." A groan on the other side of the room drew Anne's attention to the other two people in the room, Momo and Nana.

Anne shook her head wryly as the two girls, who were normally like fire and water with the other, were also snuggled together closely on the bed Momo had made from super soft alien grass.

With only Tropius stirring from her presence, though she quickly went back to sleep herself, Anne silently departed since everyone was doing ok.

Once outside she made her way to a certain location, a cherry blossom tree, and gently placed her hand against its rough surface.

The second Anne's hand was in contact with three she began injecting Spirit and Alteration magics into it. She had been doing this for days now, attempting to spark a true consciousness in it, or bring out whatever consciousness it already had according to Momo.

Anne didn't know how long she was channeling magic into the tree, but it must've been hours as the sky began to brighten when it finally happened.

"!!!"

Shock filled Anne as she felt it, something responding her prodding and magic before a whirlwind of cherry blossoms suddenly formed around her.

"This is-!" Anne uttered as she broke contact with the tree in amazement, before watching as the blossoms began to come together to create a humanoid outline.

"Wahooooooooo!" Cried out the voice of an excited young woman.

"Lap lap!" Cried out the creature a short ways away from her.

At its command, the creature raised the level of the ocean around them so that it's water and the chunks of ice floating in it rose up in a mighty wave.

The creature then began to ride the wave like it was surfing, while the young woman near it did the same with a surfboard made of ice. The duo then made a game of dodging the massive ice flows as they raced down the wave, each trying to outdo the other in terms of speed and close calls.

And when the wave appeared to be settling down, the woman created another one by moving in a way reminiscent of the creature.

Though not nearly as large, the young woman was able to create the wave she was after as they resumed their game of dodge the iceberg.

It was only when the sun was almost set that they decided to call it a day, returning to the ice shelf close to home. The girl stepped off her surfboard onto the thick ice she called land, before turning back to the creature and saying with a smile,

"That was fun Lapras! My bending has really improved ever since I started trying to mimic your movements!" Katara told the Pokemon excitedly.

"Laaaaaaap!" The Lapras trilled happily while playfully slapping its fins on the water.

Katara then noticed a flash of silver in the water, which she used her water bending to flush up onto the ice shelf in front of Lapras. The result was a small pile of fish that the Pokemon happily began to gorge on for its meal.

Katara smiled as she gently patted Lapras on its neck, thankful she had received such a Pokemon. Not only did she now have a friend, but she was able to better her bending by watching Lapras when it used its moves, like Surf.

There was only one small problem with having Lapras around.

"HAAAAAAA!!!"

A shout alerted Katara and Lapras as the former splashed up some water, and latter quickly dove under water to escape.

It then poked its head up out of the water a second later to see a young man, a couple years older than Katara, frozen in place with only his head showing.

"Really Sokka, AGAIN!?!"

"Don't 'really Sokka' ME! You know as well as I do that thing can feed the entire village for a week!"

"She's not a 'thing', she's Lapras!"

"I don't care what you named it! That's THING is a monster, and monster meat probably tastes better than fish!"

Whatever Katara was going to say her brother next died in her throat, as a new voice cried out,

"Noooooo!"

"Don't eat Lapras!"

Several of the village kids ran up to them as they crowded around Lapras protectively, as if Sokka was going to break free from the ice at any moment to attack her yet again.

"What are you all doing men!" Sokka demanded of the children."You're the Warriors of the Southern Water Tribe! That THING is a threat to the tribe, so destroy it!"

"Don't wanna!" One kid declared while picking his nose.

"Lapras too cute!" Another kid stated while hugging her neck.

"I REALLY gotta go potty!" Another kid pleaded while dancing in place.

Katara had to bite back her laughter as the kids all defended Lapras, while a certain vein on her brother's head looked as if it were about to pop.

Instead, she turned to the children and asked then, "who wants to take turns riding on Lapras' back?"

"""Yay!"""

The children all cheered excitedly, while Lapras also happily cried out as she splashed her fins in the water. She loved giving rides on her shell.

Sokka meanwhile was grinding his teeth in frustration, trying to move his entire body to get free of the ice binding him.

"!!!"

Sokka grew excited as he suddenly felt warmth through the biting cold covering his body, making him wonder who had decided to free him.

"!!!"

What he saw instead, was the same kid who had to go potty. And he was doing just that on the ice covering Sokka's leg.

"STOP THAT!" Sokka shrieked angrily, even as the kid danced away to join the others in playing with Katara and Lapras.

Meanwhile, several hundred miles north of them...

"Ninety seven!"

"Ninety eight!"

"Ninety nine!"

"One hundred!"

Suki sighed as she and the rest of the Kiyoshi warriors lowered their swords, along with a certain small brown creature wielding a piece of bone, and wearing a skull upon its head.

"Good job Cubone." Suki told her Pokemon proudly.

"Cu cu bone!" It replied back to her happily.

Suki smiled down at her Pokemon from how happy it seemed from her praise. But she couldn't help but to feel sorry for it in her heart after learning the background on Cubone from Cynthia.

According to her, all Cubone had lost their mothers and were known for wearing her skull upon their head. They were also known as the 'lonely' Pokemon, which Suki realized upon finding it outside crying in the middle of the night several times.

During the day however, Cubone only showed them its determination as it trained with them in their combat classes, and honed its unique fighting style that Suki could only think of as Earth Bending. Naturally, the entire village was excited at the prospect of having an Earth Bender around in case the Fire Nation showed up, even if it was such a 'unique' creature.

"Ahhh!" That's the good stuff!" Caulifla exclaimed as she slammed back a mug of alcohol, before wiping the foam away with the back of her hand and belching loudly.

"Disgusting..." Sala remarked as she sipped from her own drink, which was nice and refreshing after she'd spent the entire day training.

"Oh? Did I hear something miss AVERAGE Saiyan?" Caulifla mocked her with a sneer.

Sala gripped her mug so hard that, had it not been a specially made unbreakable mug by Lala, it would've shattered. But she couldn't say anything back.

This had been the norm ever since Caulifla managed to get enough points to buy the Ancient Saiyan bloodline through the Chatroom shop, while Sala was still lagging behind in trying to buy the ability to use Divine Ki.

Of course, the only reason Caulifla jumped ahead of her was because of her participation in the first round of the tournament. Every match she participated in granted her a high level quest, which granted her an increasing amount of points for every round she won.

The only downside had been when she fought against Goku in the final round, and lost to his SSJ3 due to still being inexperienced with the power of the Ancient Saiyan bloodline. If she'd had even an hour to adjust to her new powers, then the outcome of the match would have been completely different.

But now the difference between Sala and Caulifla was like heaven and earth, with the former princess having already received numerous losses from the former bandit.

To add salt to the wound, there was this whole business with Markus going on. And while Sala would like nothing more than to participate in the battle against such a villain, it had already been shown that a SSJ2 was nothing before him.

She was quickly becoming useless, and Sala didn't like it one bit.

Then, as if the universe itself was answering her woes, Sala suddenly glimpsed something she was familiar with, and traumatized by. A pair of fluffy blue rabbit ears.

Her eyes followed the rabbit-girl Shia warily, as she suppressed a shudder from recalling the seven months of hell she endured at her hands. But, they were seven months that helped to turn her into one of the most powerful warriors amongst her people.

And then, further reinforcing the idea of the universe listening to her grumbling, Sala blinked as numerous notifications alerted her to several new quests she was receiving from the Chatroom.

Land X amount of hits on Shia Haulia!

Last X amount of time in a sparring match against Shia Haulia!

Take X amount of hits from Shia Haulia!

Numerous quests involving different aspects of sparring with Shia appeared before Sala, each one rewarding her with lots of points depending on the difficulty. There was even one at the bottom that would reward her with Divine Ki itself if she won a match against her!

Before Sala knew it she was on her feet, her drink forgotten as she rapidly approached Shia.

And as she moved, she drew the eye of every other Saiyaness there.

"What's she doing?" One of Caulifla's clan members asked curiously, before they all froze when they saw her talking to Shia.

"She isn't?!"

"Don't tell me!"

"I can't believe it!"

The group then watched as Shia and Sala departed the courtyard together, the latter's expression severe while the former had a sinister smirk.

*clang!*

The group jumped before turning to see Caulifla slamming down her latest drink, completely empty, as she snarled, "come on! I'm not gonna let that prissy little princess outdo us!"

She then led her clan out of the courtyard as well for yet another round of training, as the rest of Caulifla's clan worked to also acquired the Ancient Saiyan Bloodline, and the Evil Ki that came with it.

*Boom!*

*Boom!*

*KABOOM!*

In another location thunder rumbled and echoed in every direction as a storm seemed to be brewing. Within that storm however, one would find two women locked in a heated battle.

"Lightning Thrust!" Cried out a beautiful woman with violet eyes and black hair tied back into a long ponytail, as the spear in her hand crackled with energy that she directed at her opponent.

On the other side, another beautiful woman with silver hair and red eyes deftly dodged to the side, before delivering a powerful kick to her opponent's midriff.

*FLASH!*

*KABOOM!*

The flash from the Lightning Thrust combined with power of the kick simulated lighting and thunder as the entire sky around them lit up, followed immediately by the thunderous roar.

Jade, the Heliadorian Princess, was sent flying back onto an island down at the sea level, where she carved out a trench with her body. Moka meanwhile hovered above her momentarily, her vampiric wings spread to keep her aloft as she surveyed the scene below her.

When Jade didn't reappear she flew down to make sure she hadn't kicked her new friend too hard, only for the princess to suddenly appear beneath her.

"Harvest Moon!" Jade cried out as she back flipped to deliver a powerful kick, which, incredulously, sent Moka flying up into the air from the force.

"That was a cheap shot!" A young looking vampire cried out indignantly, her bushy red twintails flaring in her anger. "That hussy would never have sent big sis flying like that otherwise!"

"Per-lease!" Answered a blond haired woman in her late teens, who's identical twin sister stood beside her. "Harvest Moon is a move that deals significantly more damage against flying opponents. Blame your big sis for giving her the opportunity to use it!"

The duo, Veronica and Kokoa, glared at the other challengingly as they fought over who was better, Moka or Jade. Meanwhile Serena, Veronica's twin sister, was desperately trying to keep the peace between them so that they didn't start fighting themselves.

Their argument was brought to halt however as they noticed a sudden surge of power from the island where Jade was still at, which revealed that the princess had transformed.

Jade's pale skin was now a grayish-purple while almost vampiric looking fangs appeared in her mouth. And her attire had changed from her green travel/combat clothes into a sensual one piece suit that her sensual body threatened to spill out of in various places, complete with high heels, bunny ears, and fishnet stockings.

"What is that?!" Kokoa asked incredulously, as Jade's power had noticeably shot up, combined with her sensuality.

"We call it Re-Vamp!" Veronica smirked smugly. "It increases all of Jade's physical abilities, makes her more resistant to different types of damage, and it increases her allure!"

Kokoa meanwhile appeared even more pissed than before, as no one could look at the current Jade and think anything other than 'vampire'.

"That's it!" The vampiress cried out as she reached for her Kou bat, which immediately transformed into a large sword. "Let's go bitches!"

Kokoa then rushed at the twins while swinging her sword wide, only for a metallic clang to answer her attack.

"Excuse me, but, while I may not be as strong or skilled as Jade, I do have SOME ability with the spear." Serena said in a kindly tone as she smiled apologetically.

'Some skill!?!' Kokoa swore in her mind, as never in a million years did she believe a weak looking HUMAN would be able to parry one of her attacks.

Kokoa clenched her teeth angrily at the realization, and began attacking Serena wildly in her vampiric rage, while the seemingly weak girl effortlessly parried or dodged every one of her attacks.

"STOP DODGING DAMN IT!" Kokoa screamed in her rage.

"Okay!" Serena said after dodging one last time, surprising Kokoa before she noticed Veronica in the background with her staff.

"How about a Kafrizzle!" She asked with a smirk, before a massive ball of flame rushed at Kokoa.

Though the vampiress could have easily dodged out of the way, her pride refused to let her as she became determined to prove to these two humans just how weak they were.

"Wait... She actually took that!?!" Veronica exclaimed as Kokoa vanished within the flames, which then exploded into a pillar of fire with the vampiress trapped within.

Serena also became worried as she put down her spear and pulled out her wand to hurriedly heal Kokoa if needed. But it was unnecessary.

When the flames from Veronica's attack died down, they saw what appeared to be a carbonized figure that had been burned down nearly to bone. But they were still standing and moving.

"You bitches..." Kokoa snarled as her flesh began to rapidly reform, along with her hair. And of course, her clothes didn't reform along with them, leaving her standing there completely naked once she finished healing.

"I'M GONNA FUCKING FLAY YOU!" Kokoa screamed as she rushed the two girls, who readily reacted as they began to battle her two on one.

Moka and Jade meanwhile had halted their own battle, and were now watching the three of them with interest.

"Break time?" Moka asked Jade.

"Sure. I could use a rest." Jade cooly replied as she canceled her Re-Vamp transformation.

"That transformation of your is interesting." Moka said suddenly, surprising Jade before the princess replied,

"Thanks. I got it from the elder of a tribe known as the Watchers. I don't quite know what he meant by it, but he said it was a power of another time..."

Jade then fell silent as she pondered on what the elder had meant, as everyone in their group had received power at that moment. Power that felt really familiar to them for some reason.

"'Watchers'?" Moka asked curiously.

Jade then began telling Moka about the world of Erdrea, the people there, the places, and mostly about her friends that she had traveled with while they fought to defeat the lord of all evil, Calasmos.

(A.N. Before people complain about how Jade, Veronica and Serena are all 'too strong', they were all summoned AFTER beating the final boss of the game, and are basically lvl 99+ with maxed out stats.)

"Focus Kale." Vados told the young Saiyaness patiently.

"I'm trying..." Kale murmured back to her, as she tried to ascend to the SSJ1.

Unfortunately her concentration slipped at the last moment, and all of the energy Kale had gathered dispersed into nothing. Seeing this, Vados told Kale with the voice of an instructor, "try again. And concentrate."

Kale could only nod slowly and bashfully, as this was already her twentieth failed attempt, TODAY.

Thankfully, Alex was too busy to see her fail so many times as he trained to control his own strength. But knowing he was working is hardest while she was failing was also dispiriting her.

While Kale was working Vados frowned slightly as she contemplated how to best help the young Saiyaness. The SSJ transformations were unlocked through intense emotion, typically anger, which Kale truthfully seemed unable to do with her subdued nature.

The only methods Vados could think of that could possibly trigger the transformation in Kale were manipulative and borderline cruel, but with every failed attempt it was seeming more and more like the only option.

As Kale tried to gather energy to herself yet again, Vados used her staff to peek at Alex's training with Kusu, Marcarita, and Elaine. Thankfully that appeared to be going well at least, so hopefully Alex would be able to return soon and help her train Kale.
