444 'Perfection'

As Alex's energy began to skyrocket every single person on the planet who was able to sense energy simultaneously turned to face the same direction, regardless of whether or not they knew of the battle going on.

"Holy crap!" Master Roshi exclaimed as he, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and even Chichi all felt sudden spike of energy, which rivaled even the current Goku and Cell's.

"Who the heck is this guy?!" Master Roshi demanded as he focused intensely on Alex's image on the tv, until Yamcha seemed to notice something as a horrifying suspicion occurred to him.

"C-Chiaotzu, that thing around his waist. Is that what I think it is?" As Chiaotzu also scrutinized Alex's waist like Yamcha, he also saw what it was he referring to and gasped dramatically, before saying,

"I-I think so Yamcha..."

Meanwhile, back at the Games, Goku's group had to braces themselves as waves of Alex's energy impacted them directly, while tens of Mr. Satan's fans ended up falling backwards as it lifted them off of their feet.

"What the hell is this!?!" Vegeta demanded as his entire body shook from the fury and indignation he was currently feeling. The Super Saiyan transformation was supposed to be the pinnacle of power in the entire universe, yet ever since he himself acquired the transformation they've been encountering one person after another that made them look like chumps.

And though he wasn't expecting an answer, Piccolo still replied,

"I don't know, but it's best we stay on our guards. Even if he's going to fight Cell none of us knows who he is or what he wants, so he could easily turn on us at any given moment." Several grunts of acknowledgment answered Piccolo's warning, as everyone steadied themselves and renewed their focused states.

Acting as though neither of them could hear the others though, Alex and Cell continued staring at one another until the latter finally responded to the formers self introduction,

"'Dragon Emperor' huh? And what exactly are you 'emperor' of?" Though he was acting casually, those who were skilled enough noticed Cell tensing his muscles in the face of the overwhelming levels of energy Alex was emitting.

Cell of course was still faring far better than the majority of the 'normal' people who had come to watch the Games, as many of them collapsed and had been unable to get back up under the pressure. This lasted only until a certain silver haired woman dressed in a maid outfit and placed a barrier between the spectators and the ring.

As she and others made their separate preparations, Alex answered Cell while he began to perform a few stretches,

"Well it's kinda a long story and I don't feel like getting into it, so why don't we just get ready to fight?" Cell's smile widened at Alex's suggestion, but before he could say or do anything, Alex pointed his middle and pointer finger at Cell, before bending them upwards.

The next thing everyone knew the ground beneath the ring, Goku's group, and all of the spectators began to rumble before they all started to rise up towards the skies. Up, up, and further up still, they all rose until they were within the clouds themselves, and were completely unable to see anything around them except for the ring. Despite this though the camera crew was still able to broadcast the fight to their station, and the rest of the world.

"Now I can fight without worrying as much of destroying the entire planet." Alex said to Cell as if what he had just done was simple, though Goku and several of the people in his group were filled with gratitude for Alex's consideration.

"If that's all, then shall we begin?" Cell asked as he took a fighting stance, prompting Alex to do the same opposite of him. For a moment nothing happened as a few drops began to fall onto them from above.

The duo then both raised their respective energies to such a point that, had Grayfia not erected the barrier between them, the spectators would have actually been blown off of their own viewing platform to their deaths. Lightning formed between them as their raw energies collided and clashed, each trying to subdue the other before they themselves even moved.

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

Faster than anyone except for a select few could follow, Alex and Cell moved and clashed repeatedly in the center of the ring. With the rain picking up speed around them, their energies clashed to create the lightning, and the impacts of their fists were like the thunder to their own terrible storm.

In the center of this growing storm though, both Alex and Cell had massive grins on their faces even as the latter swung his fist, and Alex ducked under it before planting his own into Cell's face. Alex then followed up with another fist that sank directly into Cell's side, right where a normal person's kidneys would be, before swaying backwards to dodge another one Cell's punches.

Cell then tried to land a hit on Alex's chin with an uppercut, only for Alex to weave to the side around the attack before punching the crook of Cell's elbow to earn himself a satisfying crunch.

This was just one of the many injuries that Alex had inflicted onto Cell as, with his Observation Haki coupled with the instincts honed through his regular sparring with Elaine, Cell had yet to land a single hit on Alex. Every single one of the impacts so far had been either one of Alex's attacks landing on Cell, or him blocking one of Cell's attacks.

Despite this though the actual damage Cell had accumulated was very little, as even his now broken arm quickly resettled itself within seconds.

This was due to Cell possessing genes harvested from the Saiyans Goku and Vegeta, the Namekian Piccolo, and the Frost Demons Lord Frieza and King Cold. This meant that, along with the incredible vitality of the Frost Demons that allowed them to live even if they were chopped into pieces, he also possessed the regenerative properties of the Namekians, which would allow Cell to rapidly regenerate from any wounds he receive, including instantly regrowing entire limbs.

These abilities, combined with Saiyan potential and ability to grow stronger after recovering from injuries, meant that Cell was slowly and steadily growing stronger the longer he fought Alex. Naturally Cell himself didn't miss this, but neither did those who were watching and able to sense their respective energies.

"Cell's getting even stronger..." Krillin muttered anxiously as he watched the battle below, though he could only really see a couple of blurs. Though there were several nods in agreement, the only one who seemed unconcerned was Goku as he excitedly said,

"If I'm right about this Alex guy, then there's nothing to worry about." His comment of course earned him several looks from his comrades, while Krillin sighed as he recognized Goku's look as he watched Alex fight. Then again, amongst them Goku, Gohan, and Grant were the only ones able to actually see what was going on down there for the moment.

Meanwhile the newscaster was getting increasingly heated up as he exclaimed,

"Amazing! Both this Dragon Emperor and Cell are moving so fast, that we can't even see what is happening! How is this possible!?" Though it was a rhetorical question, a certain 'champion' jumped right in front of the camera, blocking the shot of Cell and Alex, and exclaimed,

"It's not! People can't move like that! Or make the ground float! Or any of these other crazy things!" Though he was annoyed that Mr. Satan was blocking their shot, the newscaster maintained his professionalism as he instead asked the champ,

"Then how would you explain all of these amazing phenomenon Mr. Satan?" When asked that Mr. Satan's expression fell as he then tried to come up with an answer.

"Um...well......you see....... It's all a trick...?" Providing absolutely no grounds to support his claims, the newscaster and even several of Mr. Satan's own fans looked at him with a deadpan. But before he could continue the newscaster noticed something, and asked another question.

"Mr. Satan, what happened to all your wounds?"

Though he hadn't sustained any serious injuries after receiving Cell's attack, Mr. Satan had still been covered in numerous minor wounds from when he impacted a mountain, wounds that were all now gone as if they had been washed away in the rain.

Realizing this himself, Mr. Satan was more than a little shocked, but immediately tried to claim that his own body was just that amazing that he was able to recover from such little wounds in mere minutes. Hearing this, Shia looked back away from the fight, a scowl on her face as she muttered irritably,

"Maybe I should teach this blowhard a lesson." As she seriously considered doing something to make Mr. Satan regret making his baseless claims and bragging, a certain duo approached Shia on either side as Moka muttered,

"That trash needs to learn his place, but that'll be later. We got more important things to focus on." Shia, and Lala on the other side of her, both nodded in agreement as they all turned their attention back to Alex's fight with Cell.

Alex had warned them that Cell was likely to try attacking the bystanders if the fight started to truly go south for him, so the three of them were there, along with Grayfia and her barriers, to ensure such a thing didn't happen. As for why they didn't just use magic to send the spectators away, and why Alex had gone through the trouble of bringing them along as well, with someone like Mr. Satan around that would try to steal all the credit he can while discrediting their abilities, they needed numerous witnesses who could testify otherwise.

It was also for that same reason that Lala had a backup camera for the news crew in case the one they were using broke, or was otherwise damaged.

Back at the fight though, even the three of them were amazed at how strong Alex currently was in his base form. Despite Cell becoming increasingly stronger with each injury Alex inflicted on him and he recovered from, he wasn't losing any ground whatsoever and was inflicting a steady stream of damage to Cell's body.

Then again, with how long he'd been in his SSJ4 form, none of them had any idea just how strong Alex's base form had become despite the fact that he'd stopped training almost altogether in recent months. The only training any of them had seen him do was his usual sparring against Elaine, and when he sparred against one of them to help them train.

Despite that though Alex seemed stronger than ever as he remained untouched by Cell even after all this time, while even his attacks started to become heavier as they dealt even more damage.

What Alex started doing next earned him numerous gasps and exclamations from the spectators as his actions became increasingly violent and ruthless, such as when he planted his foot against Cell's knee, and broke it. Then he punched Cell with enough force, that he actually blew a hole through Cell's body that was nearly a foot in diameter, before his fist began to glow as Alex detonated a powerful blast of energy that shredded Cell's body even further.

Despite all of this though, Cell regenerated in seconds to become even stronger than before, before the process repeated itself over and over again.

"Something wrong..." Piccolo grumbled as he watched the fight, to which Trunks replied,

"You're right, its not going to end if this keeps up." Though Trunks was right, Piccolo shook his head as he explained,

"That's not it. Cell's regeneration ability comes from my Namekian genes, but he's regenerating at a much faster rate than I do. It's almost too fast..." As he trailed off Piccolo groaned as he tried to figure out why Cell's regenerative powers were so strong, even as Krillin offered,

"Maybe Doctor Gero enhanced his regeneration to make him more 'perfect', you know what I mean?" Though it was a reasonable theory, Piccolo's gut told him that wasn't it as he continued watching the fight below, which was getting harder and harder as Alex and Cell moved faster and faster. Until, Cell suddenly stopped fighting altogether.

"Why don't we call this here?" Cell asked Alex with a smirk on his face. "You can't kill me, and I've only been getting stronger and stronger as we fought. So why don't we just skip to the inevitable outcome?" In the face of Cell's taunting though, Alex sighed and surprised them by saying,

"Yeah, you're getting stronger, but not strong enough yet..." Not just Cell, but everyone else outside of Alex's own entourage was shocked at his comment as Piccolo roared,

"WAIT! ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU'VE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE CELL STRONGER THIS WHOLE TIME!?" Alex looked up at him and said as if it were obvious,

"Well yeah, why else would I drag the fight out like this and combine Phoenix Tears with this rain?" As he said that Alex held his hand out to catch several drops of rain, all of which contained a fraction of the restorative power of Phoenix Tears that had been diluted to the extreme.

"Phoenix....Tears...?" Piccolo asked, unfamiliar with the term since they've only ever used Senzu Beans as a remedy in battle. Alex however nodded and explained,

"Phoenix Tears are one of the most powerful medicines that could ever exist. They're capable of healing any injury, restoring stamina, reattaching recently lost limbs, and even bringing back those who had just died. Though, I doubt the last two would be possible right now with how diluted they are."

Naturally such a miracle medicine sounded too good to be true, but if it was then Piccolo along with the rest of the fighters couldn't help but to wish they'd had such a miraculous medicine during most of their previous battles. But of course, the thing at the forefront of everyone's minds was outrage at how Alex had been trying to make Cell, an already seemingly unbeatable monster, even stronger than he already was.

But then again, the one who was the most outraged was Cell himself.

"Are you trying to say, that my 'perfect' self isn't enough!?" Cell demanded angrily, furious at the implication. Alex then looked at Cell as if he were stupid, before simply holding out his hand with his palm pointed upwards. Everyone was then blinded as he shot up a massive and powerful pillar of energy that punched a hole through the clouds as it was sent up into space.

Then, so that he didn't accidentally destroy any planets, Alex detonated the attack to that there was a massive explosion of energy above them that created shockwaves powerful enough to buffet anyone on that side of the planet. As they all gaped at the attack though, Alex gained their attention once again as he said,

"I came here for a good fight, and damn it I'm going to get a fight one way or the other. But since my previous method was taking too long, it looks like I'll have to go with plan B." While everyone was trying to figure out what Alex meant, he suddenly flashed forward and sank his fist into Cell's stomach.

Unlike his previous attack though a hole wasn't blown through Cell's body, instead something was forced out of the syringe-like stinger on Cell's back. Despite the fluids covering it though Alex carefully caught the item in his left arm, which was a beautiful woman with sharp features and blonde hair that was cut at her chin.

As the girl was ejected from his body, Cell himself also began to undergo a series of changes right before everyone's eyes as his form became distinctly less humanoid, and more insect-like.

"Wh-WHAT HAPPENED!?" Cell cried out in alarm from his current predicament, but, instead of getting an answer, Alex moved faster than Cell was now capable of perceiving, his strength having plummeted after the last attack, and sank his fist into his stomach a second time. Just like the first time the stinger on Cell's back spit out a person, except Alex didn't catch them this time as they fell to the ground in a heap.

This one however was a man with long straight black hair, and similar facial features to the girl in Alex's arms. The duo were siblings that had been turned into androids(cyborgs) by the same man who had created Cell. However, unknown even to them, they were designed simply as parts needed for Cell to completely mature into his 'perfect' form.

As Alex forcibly ejected them from Cell's body though, he was forced to revert to his weaker and 'imperfect' forms that even someone like Vegeta or Trunks could defeat.

"Nooooooo!!!" Cell wailed as he realized he was no longer in his perfect form, even as Alex ignored him and sent the two androids, named 17 and 18, to Asora. Then, as if it was the simplest thing, Alex blasted Cell from point blank with a ki attack that rivaled the one he used for a demonstration earlier, obliterating Cell's entire body.

"What just happened...?" Krillin parroted Cell, as he and everyone else struggled to keep up with the rapid sequence of events until the broadcaster announced,

"E-everyone, it appears as if....CELL HAS BEEN DESTROYED!" The spectators and all of the people watching around the world then began to cheer as the monster they had been fearing for the past ten days was destroyed, until a calm voice cut through their's.

"No he hasn't." Alex regained everyone's attention as the broadcaster asked,

"Eh? Cell hasn't been defeated?" Alex however shook his head without ever taking his eyes off of the spot where Cell previously was, and explained,

"He was designed to be genetically 'perfect', so long as there is a single cell left of Cell's body, he'll regenerate and return." Dead silence answered Alex's claims, allowing everyone to witness for themselves the moment Cell's body began to form once again from singular speck that Alex hadn't destroyed.

"HahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" With an insane laughter permeating the air before his arrival, Cell popped back into existence right in front of everyone, once again in his 'perfect' form.

"HOW AMAZING!" Cell exclaimed excitedly as he examined his newly constructed body.

"Even if my entire body is destroyed, so long as a single cell of me remains, I'll return! And not only that, but my body seems to recall my 'perfect' form, AND I know I'm even stronger than I was before due to my Saiyan genes!" With his body having gained the greatest boost in strength yet, even Alex nodded in agreement as he remarked,

"Yeah, I'd say you're finally at the point where I'd need to transform myself to deal with you...but it's not enough yet." Alex then snapped his fingers to produce a glowing magic circle that spread out under Cell's feet for several feet in either direction.

"What is this!?" Cell demanded as he tried to escape the magic circle, only to slam into a barrier that entrapped him.

"It's a magic circle that will allow me to force your body into the next stage of its evolution, which will also make you significantly more powerful than you already are."

"Wait, he's forcing Cell into an even stronger form!?" Krillin exclaimed, shocked that such a thing was possible, and that someone was insane enough to do it.....someone aside from Vegeta that was.

"HOW DARE YOU!?!" Cell roared in anger as his fists slammed against the barrier, enraged that Alex dared to suggest that the current him wasn't 'perfect'. But before he could say anything else, Cell's entire body was enveloped in the light of the magic circle to hide him from view, before an ear splitting scream could be heard as Cell experienced more pain than he'd ever felt before.

Truthfully Alex had developed his ability to evolve others so that it was faster and significantly less painful than the day he first evolved Rias, but he didn't see the point of doing away with the pain in Cell's case.

For several minutes all anyone heard was Cell's bloodcurdling screams from within the pillar of light, until the screams began to slowly die down. Then, with no warning, the most powerful and evil energy that any of them had ever felt radiated from within the magic circle, shattering Alex's barrier while almost throwing Goku and his friends through the air.

As the light died down though, and Cell's aura began to settle, Alex's mouth curled upwards into a wide smile.

Cell's body had grown by nearly a foot in height while the previously green and purple exoskeleton had been replaced thick plates of black and red, while his arms and legs were covered in serrated blades that ran down their length, and a large Y shaped horn was growing up and out from between his brows.

After taking a moment to admire his new form, Cell looked up at Alex and said,

"I must thank you, for showing me what TRUE 'perfection' is." Alex just smirked at Cell's remark, as he was still truly far from perfection, even as Cell continued,

"A being that transcends perfection itself is nothing short of a god, and as such I shall refer to myself as 'Divine Cell'!"

"Pft!" Alex snorted when he heard that, before descending into flat out laughter that drew Cell's attention as he asked,

"And what pray tell is so funny?" Alex however just shook his head as he tried to compose himself, before explaining,

"B-because, there are so many beings out there that are far more powerful than you, that I can name ten right off the top of my head, starting with myself!" Cell's eyes narrowed dangerously at Alex's remark, while many other people stirred as Krillin asked his friends,

"Did you hear that?" Goku nodded slowly with a serious expression on his face before answering,

"Yeah I did..." Then Goku's face morphed into an expression of excitement as he exclaimed,

"There's a ton of people even stronger than Cell out there to fight!" Krillin immediately face palmed at Goku's remark as Piccolo groaned, but next to him Grant felt a cold sweat run down his back, knowing EXACTLY who Alex was referring to.

Cell however sneered at Alex's remark as he said,

"You? Stronger than the 'divine' me? HA, don't make me laugh!" Alex however, finally composing himself, said,

"But it's true, don't you recall what I said earlier?"

"Hm?" Cell momentarily humored Alex's claims, not believing them for even a second until Alex said,

"I'd said that hadn't even needed to transform myself yet." That simple comment shocked everyone present, but that was still nothing compared to when Alex's tail was unwrapped from his waist, and his body began to emit a bright golden aura.
