"Exactly," Linsley replied. "And we'll establish a system that encourages growth within the Order. Our followers will generate faith points simply by worshiping me. But those who want to advance and gain more influence will be able to complete tasks for the Sinclair Order, like spreading the faith or converting others into becoming believers."
Ted nodded, understanding. "And they'll be rewarded with blessings from you?"
Linsley grinned. "Yes. The more faith points they collect, the more blessings they'll be granted. And if they accumulate enough points, they'll be able to rise in the ranks—from believers to priests, bishops, or even archbishops. I'll personally bestow these blessings upon them as their God."
"But won't people eventually become corrupted by power?" Lucy asked. "Hierarchies often lead to abuse."
