The sound of wood hitting the floor was all he heard, it was coming closer with each second growing louder, 'Is this where I die?' He thought, his heart raced he could see the outline of a creature. It was hunched and it held something in its right hand, it was probably a cane to support his body. He stared at the figure in total silence as it did nothing, he waited patiently and was on high alert if it got nearer.

*BOOOOOMMM!!!!*

Pressure pressed on his body, he fell to the floor his mind buzzing. It felt like his brain was going to burst, he screams in agony. He could feel his bones breaking from the pressure.

"Human, although your kind is weak and fragile, you have been selected from billions of people to inherit my power. I don't know what kind of God you will become but it would most certainly not be average!" An overlapping voice between a man and a woman announced with utmost arrogance, he cursed the being silently as he felt the pressure disappear slowly. At the same time while it was disappearing his body was strengthened.

His brain also stopped buzzing but he flinches as knowledge suddenly pours into his head, God... World... Creation...

His eyes widen, "I became a God!?"

Before he could ask the entity a portal opened up behind him and sucked him in, the entity watched this and sighed when he fully disappeared, "I have kept my promise Tyile, now set me free," The sound of chains being broken was heard as the entity flexes its arms, it's body was filled with endless vigor as it laughed joyously.

"Finally... Finally, after 34,386,125,369,645 years I am finally free!!" It then disappeared from its prison and went back into the multiverse.

September 3, 2154, Dumaguete, Philippines

A portal suddenly opens in a dark alleyway that was devoid of life, a young man suddenly fell through it and crashed into a pair of trashcans. He groaned as he stabilized himself from the sudden teleportation, he looks around and saw that he was in an alleyway but he didn't know if he was still in his country.

He stood up and walked down the street, he stops as he knows the place. This place was behind the Phytel Mall, He thought to himself as he called for a tricycle and went home. He looked at his watch and swiped up as a hologram of his contacts appeared before him, he noticed that he had received 123,687 miss calls from his mother making him flinch.

"Patay jud ko ani ni mama[1]" His mouth thinned as he saw that it was already one year since he disappeared, "I'm so doomed!" He muttered, his mother is teriffying when mad. It was like meeting the Ruler of Hell only to find out there that the Ruler was like a slave to his wife. He prayed to any God out in the universe to help him overcome this challenge, wait a minute he was a God.

He should be praying to give himself luck in surviving this, 30 minutes later he arrived at the front gate of his house and rang the doorbell. The gate opens to reveal a black-haired kid around 13 to 14 years old, she had blue eyes and wore a Private school uniform that was close by from here.

"Yes, who is-" The girl froze as she stared at Joshua in shock, Joshua sweat a little as he knew who this was, "S-sup Lil sister," He waved, It was his sister Anna, he didn't know what to do other than that but at least it was better than the greetings he gives to his classmates. His sister inhaled a large breath as she shouted, "MOM, DAD!! JOSHUA IS BACK!!" He covered his ears due to the sheer volume of her voice.

The next thing he knew his little sister was already hugging him while crying into his hoodie. He pats her sister's back to try and calm her down but the next thing he knew he felt a small itch on his waist, his sister was probably pinching him. He looked down to see his sister's angry eyes stare right back at him.

"WHERE WERE YOU, YOU IDIOT!?" She screeched, Joshua covered his ears and told her, "Jeez you're too loud, we might get a noise complaint with just your voice. Anyways for where I have been I have been stranded in America for a year," His sister's expression clearly says 'How did you get there, He then said that when he took a bus to get to Phytel Mall but he accidentally boarded a bus that was supposed to be transported to America.

He then lies about being able to find a nice couple who let him stay in their house until he could get enough money to come back home. Anna nods and was relieved about the news, she didn't question why he was wearing the same clothes when he disappeared, probably because she was used to such things happening often.

"I see, well then let's get inside, I can already hear Mom and Dad rushing towards here anyways," Anna grabbed his hand and dragged him inside to confront the final bos- *Cough* his parents.
