Hunter felt his body freefalling into the depths of darkness. The layers of beastly teeth were almost touching, getting closer. The camels had already disappeared into it.
'How did them tribal-folks survive here?' Hunter wondered.
Tug!
And just then, he felt the rope tighten in his hand, and his fall abruptly stopped. He dangled in the air, the hot breath of the creature underneath reaching him—stenchful, and seemingly annoyed by the lack of Hunter's flesh.
"I got you~" Kavius' distant groan echoed.
Slowly, Hunter felt the rope pulling him up. But the sand that still continued to fall over Hunter's head didn't help. It pushed him down, increasing the weight that Kavius had to pull.
Hunter continuously looked down to see if the creature would make a move—highly possible as Hunter had already seen it rise high into the sand as well.
Snap!
