Chapter 1

"Ugh..."

Waking up on a sheet cot bed in a dimly lit medical room with white tiled walls, concrete flooring, medical equipment laid out on a shelf, and an IV bag attached to her arm through a tube. Akame groaned in pain as she sat up gripping her head tightly at the incessant pounding, feeling as if her brain would explode at any second.

Not a second later through, Akame broke out in a violent coughing fit forcing her to move her left hand from her head and cover her mouth, which was soon covered in inky black blood.

After a minute of coughing up blood, Akame couldn't help but stare at her blood-stained hand and blanket as more blood slowly poured out from her mouth. Her eyes filled with resolve as she disconnected the IV tube from her arm and weakly shifted herself to the edge of the bed to stand.

Silence filled the room as Akame weakly got to her feet. The icy touch from the ground sent needle-like pain through her legs as she began channeling Chakra throughout her body, easing the burden on her weakened self.

With heavy breaths, Akame slowly made her way toward the open white metal door in the farthest corner of the room from her. Eventually reaching the door, Akame made her way out of the room into a stone hallway with many swirls engraved into the walls.

She was currently under Uzushiogakure, in a secret facility only the Uzumaki clan's main branch had access to. After around 11 minutes of a strenuous walk, Akame eventually entered a large laboratory with technology ahead of their time.

Akame made her way past much of the medical equipment toward a long crimson-haired woman with violent-colored eyes and a modest figure.

"Glad to see you're up, Akame. You've been out for some months now, I was starting to worry that your last 'outing' was too much of a burden on your body." The crimson-haired woman's elegant voice soothed Akame's heart and mind as she continued shuffling her feet toward the woman who was currently running tests on a large computer monitor.

"Come give mommy a hug-" Turning around the woman extended her arms toward Akame before freezing at the sight of her daughter stained with inky black blood. "Akame! I knew it was too much of a burden on your body! Why didn't you listen to me when I said to take it slow, leaping through worlds and dimensions one at a time is enough to kill the average being yet you leaped through more than 50 without taking a proper rest!"

Akame's mother rushed to her daughter's side pulling up a chair as she did so to allow the girl to sit. With the worry only natural for a mother, she began cleaning off the blood before rolling up her cost sleeve and offering her right forearm to the girl.

"Come on, heal up." Following her mother's words, Akame leaned forward and bit into the woman sucking out a great sum of Chakra allowing her to recover from her previous injuries.

"Sigh. This project of yours better be worth nearly dying over, he should be ready in a month or so. Just let him rest and adapt to the new sets of life energies." The woman gently rubbed Akame's hair as she shifted her gaze to the monitor before looking at the large stasis pod filled with a green liquid, connected to the monitor.

Once she finished healing her injuries, Akame shifted her gaze to the stasis pod where a large figure floated lifelessly.

"Yeah, it was worth every little bit. Though I don't know why I'm certain that this feeling in me is that of a mother's love. When he's ready, he'll protect me for his entire life." Akame smiled at her creation as warmth filled her entire body, starting from her spin and spreading outward.

"I'm not sure if motherly love is something you should feel to that thing but you should rest as well, it would do you no good if you continue overexerting yourself." Akame's mother placed her index finger and thumb on her daughter's chin and pulled the girl's gaze toward herself.

"I'm fine, mother. In fact, I'm so fine I could Dimension leap and grab the final piece he needs to become whole." Akame stood and flexed her biceps to show how fine she was, though her mother wasn't convinced by the girl's display.

Akame's mother stared into her golden eyes, standing before the girl like a mountain she would be unable to pass. "No. Your little pet project needs rest from the last batch you brought back, and once he's done he would awaken."

"He'll be fine. If he can't take getting stronger how would he ever protect me or be a worthy son." Akame groaned as she grew annoyed with her mother.

"And what about yourself!? You need more rest as well, from physical taxation to mental. You haven't properly rested and would collapse if you attempt another world leap in the coming months." Akame's mother wasn't going to let her little girl act recklessly, and endanger herself for an unknown creature they concocted in a lab.

"Gah! So annoying!" It didn't take long for Akame to give up, sitting back in her chair as she crossed her arms and pouted. Her gaze was locked on the naked figure in the pod.

"Akame, please promise me that you'll rest up. Spend some time with your aunt, oh, speaking of which... your cousin was recently born and I'm sure your aunt would love to have you over." Akame's mother softened her gaze as she didn't like having to be so stern with the girl, but Kami knew she certainly wouldn't listen otherwise.

"En, I'll rest for some time. But once I'm officially healed up I'm going to get what I can to help him grow, after all, he'll be my sword and shield so he needs to be strong enough to protect me from even an army of gods." Akame nodded reluctantly as she embraced her mother in a hug before moving to head out of the laboratory.

"Thank you, dear. And make sure you change out of the little gown, your ass is showing. " Seeing her daughter walk off dressed in a white open-back hospital gown, the mother couldn't help but giggle lightly.

Akame simply waved her hand and continued out of the lab.

"Sigh. You're truly lucky my daughter is interested in you, else I would have already destroyed you for the trouble you have caused her." The mother glared at the stasis tube where the being still floated lifelessly.

Dressed in her Shinobi outfit which consisted of a black haori with rose petals printed on it over a black sleeveless blouse, black pants, and black open-toed ninja sandals.

Akame left her clan's secret facility located on the village's outskirts and made her way through the well-developed architecture.

Making her way toward the center of the village the girl passed by many friendly red-headed villagers, and many shopkeepers who knew her and offered her goods like fruits, meat skewers, jewelry, and so much more.

Politely refusing their offers, Akame drew closer toward the residential area for her clan's main branch where her Aunts mansion was located, her steps with a little more pep to them than before as the thought of seeing her newborn cousin filled the girl with joy.

"Aunt Eto! You home?!" After a few minutes, the redhead reached her aunt's compound and knocked on the door to a fairly large home. As part of the main family, Akame's aunt lived a rather lavish lifestyle supported by her father, the current patriarch of the clan.

"Come in!"

Akame heard the faint shout of a woman from the other side of the door granting her permission to enter. As the girl did so the pleasant scent of lavender flowers invaded her nostrils.

"Aunt Eto!" Akame called out for her aunt, removing her ninja sandals as she did so. Glancing around the girl enjoyed the feeling of nostalgia as it felt like years had passed by since she has last seen her aunt or her home.

"My dear I'm in here!" Akame's aunt called out from a room down the long hall from where Akame stood. Letting out a small 'coming', Akame followed where Eto's voice came from as she gently slid open the screen door leading into a large girly bedroom which was undoubtedly Kushina's.

"Ah, so glad you're here Akame. How are you feeling?" It was the middle of the day, but Eto sat beside a white-painted cradle as she rocked the napping baby with a tuft of red hair. Eto was a gorgeous woman with a slender figure, but well-endowed in the bust and hips, scarlet red hair reaching below her butt, emerald green eyes filled with worry for Akame, and flawless creamy white skin.

"I'm fine aunt Eto. I just needed some rest after returning from my mission before." Akame gave a small bow as she moved to take her aunt's side, looking over the little girl in the cradle with glee.

"Hey, little Kushina. You're just as gorgeous as your mother, and your Chakra levels are already quite high I'm sure you'll be an even finer Kunoichi." Akame gently stroked the tuft of hair on Kushina's delicate little head, as she soon began swelling with joy.

"A little rest? You left the village in the dead of night for Kami knows what kind of mission, no word for a week, then you suddenly reappeared at the docks half dead and pass out. You should thank your uncle, he happened to be heading out for a mission as well when he spotted you first, else who knows what would have happened to you.

Akame simply listened to her worried aunt since she understood better than anyone just how worried the woman can get, and rightfully so. Normally she would take a few months before returning from world traveling, simply due to the amount of rest she needed in between each world jump.

This time Akame had wanted to get home early with as many genetic materials as she could to not miss out on Kushina's birth. But it was clear that the shock and destructive energy her body was forced to endure was too much for her.

Though her aunt didn't need to know all the finer details about what kind of danger she was in and how little danger a rogue ninja or perverted villager would have posed to her.

"I'm sorry aunty, I'll be more careful next time." Once again Akame offered a slight bow before sighing in contentment. 'Maybe it wouldn't be all that bad to take a proper rest. We could always shove the final genetic source into him after he fully integrates with the current samples. It's not like the last one would require him to be in stasis again.'

"Good, We all worry about you Akame. You're the one the clan leaders are looking at to succeed my father, it would be best if you put some care into your own life." Eto sighed as she placed her hand on her niece's back, stroking it gently.

"Heh, I understand."

. . .

. .

.

After spending half the afternoon with her aunt and Kushina, Akame reluctantly left the two's side and started making her way toward their clan leader's mansion.

Well... it was more like a Kage mansion since their clan had finally settled in what was now Uzushiogakure, and was run like a Shinobi village... a village only consisting of the Uzumaki clan...

Reaching the Uzukage mansion after some time of walking, Akame made her way into the building passing the service desk as she made her way up and to the Uzukage's office where she gave a rhythmic knock on the large door.

A brief moment of silence filled the air as Akame waited for permission to enter. Not having to wait long, Akame entered after hearing the deep but muffled voice of the Uzukage her grandfather beckoning her to enter.

"Ah. Akame my dear granddaughter, it's so good to see your precious face after so long." The old man smiled seeing his granddaughter enter the room for the first time in a week. The old man had long dark red hair, almost turning brown as he could only grow older, joyful bright golden eyes filled with decades of wisdom and experience, and slightly tanned cream skin. His great innate healing ability was the only reason the old man hadn't looked as aged as he should have, with his wrinkleless skin and long blue-white robe.

"It's only been a week grandfather. Please control yourself when attending to your duties as our clan Kage." Despite her words, Akame was also quite glad to see her only grandfather after what truly felt like too much time had passed.

"Hehe, I know, but I can't help that I wanna see you daily, who knows one of these days I might not be able to see you again." The old man chuckled, though his words were quite true. In the world of Shinobi, war can break at any time and a ninja never knew when a mission would be their last.

"Eh hem..."

Akame glanced an annoyed glance to her grandfather's side where a large bulky man with light red hair, light brown eyes, and russet brown skin, dressed in a large green fur coat leaving the man's chest bare, long grey pants, and grey ninja sandals.

"Captain Chikyu." Akame greeted the scowling man before once again turning toward her grandfather with a smile.

"Girl."

"Don't you two get started now, the last time you two fought we had to rebuild the docks." The Usukage spoke rather calmly despite the invisible static of the two colliding.

"Apologies lord Shiratama." Chikyu bowed to the old man, soon shifting his annoyed gaze outside the office windows.

"Now, What can I do for you, my darling little angel?" Shiratama gave Akame a questioning look as he poured himself a cup of tea. He knew that while his family loves him deeply if any of them came to him while he was working it was because they want to ask him something only the kage could do for the.

"As you know, Mother and I have been in the process of creating the ultimate Shinobi... no, the ultimate being. Someone who could be a true god, far stronger than the six paths of legend." Shiratama nodded at Akame's words as he listened intently.

"We have already succeeded in his creation, and now we wait for his integration process to be completed in the next few months. I want to ask you, something grandfather, please assist us in transferring it to one of the uninhibited islands farthest from here.

The power he'll poses upon awakening would be too much for our home and would undoubtedly bring harm to our clansmen."

Hearing her words the Usukage was surprised at the request. Not because the girl was thinking of their people or because the request was all that difficult. No... it was due to the high praise the girl unconsciously gave her creation.

A being to rival gods, and could easily wreak havoc on their island village, if her creation was that strong he might as well kill it now before the girl could not control it anymore.

"If you need my help already with a being that wasn't even born yet, we would all be better off killing it off now." Speaking his lord's mind, Chikyu growled at the countless thoughts of possible dangers this thing the girl created would cause.

"No! If you're worried about control, my chains have the innate ability to seal gods. Though it was never proven. And if you're worried about him breaking free I can ensure he'll never do so since my chains could also weaken him after he's bound!" Akame refused to let anyone kill her pet, that thing was like a son to her with how much blood, sweat, and tears she had put into his creation.

"Akame, I'll only say this once. If your little pet gets out of hand, I'll kill him myself. I don't care how strong he is, I'll even reaper death seal his sorry ass." Shiratama narrowed his eyes as he released a bit of his chakra to further drive his point home. Akame was unfazed by her grandfather's threat as she had complete faith in her ability to subdue her creation, as well as faith that even if her grandfather acted the most he could do was immobilize it for a few moments. More than enough time for her to gain the necessary control over it.

"Thank you." Akame bowed before leaving the office to plan out her next steps, ensuring all the pieces on the chess board are under her control. The only problem the girl could identify was the final genetic source for her pet, it wasn't easy to get, and with her thoughts collected, it wouldn't be a great idea to integrate the source with her pet before she has control.
