The sword

Sheila looked at his clueless face and sighed. He had a very high potential which he seemed clueless about but he couldn't also be blamed.

This time Amelithea left his cultivation exposed. She believed he could now escape if push comes to shove.

A Transcended realm expert had many abilities that were very powerful.

He sat around the table. A young waitress took their orders.

"Honestly I didn't think you could outsmart all the 'heirs' under maximum 'security'. That place was tightly guarded for your own information. You make a good assassin." Sheila praised honestly.

She couldn't fathom how he succeeded. It's not that she undermined him. She had expected him to ask for help but it never happened.

"You make me blush, praise me more. Anyway I was just lucky. Maybe I was worthless in their eyes for them to care." He said.

"That might be the case given their arrogance. But luck is also power so don't underestimate yourself too much." Sabina said as she played with her long hair.

"Hey am abit curious, how did you manage to succeed though." Silivia asked curiously.

He took a deep breath and recounted his experience. Though he omitted the existence of Nemisis and the Empress.

He told them that there was a powerful existence that teleported to the city.

They listened without interrupting him. Though they knew he omitted some things, they respected his decision and let it slide.

"You are very lucky. I could see many of their guards hidden in the void. Though you are strong, they were very strong. I was alert all the time. Who would have thought my presence was unnecessary. How will you compensate me then." Sheila said pitifully.

"How can I really know. What do you have in mind." He asked. He just decided to go with her play.

"Ah..alright. We have a party but as you might see we need some company. Specifically your help. We don't want to deal with some lustful bastards. Ofcourse its not for free. Count it as you paying me off. It will be more lively that way. Right sisters." She said and asked for their opinion.

Each had their own life. She didn't want to make them feel uncomfortable as she knew they hated being close to me even she herself. Strangely though Karl's existence was not rejected by their nature.

This made them both curious and excited abit. He was one of a kind.

"It isn't bad so am fine with it." Naida said. The rest also had no objection.

Karl just shrugged. It wasn't a bother as he really had nothing to do now. And on top of that getting to know such powerful and very beautiful women was a god sent.

He was an ant infront of existences at their level. But they never treated him as such.

Honestly, the parties he attended so far are very few so it was a win-win.

From what he understood so far, their nature as Royal Phoenixs tend to reject male gender. Was it because of not being of their race or being weaker than them. He really didn't know.

'I see they all agree now. His indeed special. They would never agree to socialise with opposite gender however powerful or handsome he is. Though the party is just an excuse, lets enjoy life abit. If he knows our identity he might get scared or even start worshipping us but oh well these sisters of mine have changed or something.' Naira thought.

"It's been a long time since I last hunged out with a male in our group. I don't recall much of it so don't disappoint me." Nadia said. Her words slightly surprised the sisters. She was a cold woman who hated men to the bone.

Though it was their nature. She embraced it wholeheartedly. In the battles she was a nightmare to enemies of opposite gender.

That very woman was acting friendly to this young man they just met not even a month has passed.

"Don't worry about that I definitely won't disappoint you. But how do you want us to do it."

Karl asked with a serious expression on his face.

They all turned towards the cold blue haired woman.

"I didn't think you were this good at expressing your feelings. Don't worry we sisters are here to support you." Sabina said with a 'supportive' smile.

She couldn't let this chance to tease her cold and aloof sister go.

They earned a cold and blank look from her. Then the meaning of her words sunk deep in her mind. She realised her words were misunderstood for something else.

A slight red hue appeared on her cheeks and neck. They all laughed at her. Gone was her cold facade replaced by an embarrassed woman.

"Tck.tck. I had really thought you were serious there. I was even preparing some gifts. How disappointing." Naida said in 'disappointment'.

"Here I had thought my elder sister was going to move on. But it won't take too long right sister, Naida." Silivia said with an 'innocent' smile.

These women couldn't miss a chance to bear their fangs at her so this was a great opportunity.

Naida felt like digging a small hole. But as an old being she was, she quickly regained her composure.

Seeing this, they clicked their tongues in disappointment. Their attention then came back to Karl.

He looked at them in amusement. It was not everyday you see siblings bicker. And the siblings in question are strongly attached to each other.

A golden sword appeared in his hands.

Sheila immediately elected a barrier around them silently to block off any spies.

The space vibrated. The sword gave off a bright golden glow. The women looked at the sword with squinted eyes.

They could detect pure divine energy in the sword. It floated slightly.

Sheila willed and the sword floated towards her.

"I can't believe the rumours we'll true. This divine energy is very pure compared to our world. This sword is definitely a Rank 3 but its far more powerful than even a Rank 4." Sheila spoke calmly.

The divine energy in the sword appeared very pure and more refined.

Though the sword offered no response, that was not her concern. The sword wasn't hers afterall.

She touched it and closed her eyes. She opened them and sighed.

"The spirit in the sword is very young though I have to tell you that at its maturity its power might surpass the God realm. It will definitely call for trouble wherever you unleash its power. Greed is unrestrained and is everywhere so be careful." She paused.

"Though I also wanted you to obtain this powerful weapon, I didn't wish for your life to be in trouble so use it carefully. Those families won't stop pursuing you once they know about it."

Seeing her serious expression, he couldn't help but feel touched. This world was really cruel where he had only few people he could call friends.

'Seems like I will never be able to have your company anytime soon Nemisis. Though my Rank 3 weapon will attract trouble, I don't know what will happen once they learn of your existence. I don't what to have that 'cold' Goddess searching for my head.'

After several minutes, they were really impressed by the potential of the weapon. They had encountered billions of weapons in their life but few could match this sword's potential at Rank 3.
